Such and fun and enjoyable podcast ... as per usual Jacque! I loved hearing and seeing all the goodies you have planned for the very near future. These will all be wonderful and versatile staples to wear pretty well anywhere. I look forward to seeing what yarns and colours you choose for the Norma Sweater. As per usual (again) your video and displays are so polished and professional. I have been knitting for 50+ years and am still excited about it all! 😍
I’m looking forward to seeing and hearing all about these winter projects. I have knit for decades but never yet steeked but am now inspired to give it a try. I love your colour choices.
I’ve been knitting since I was a teenager and I still love knitting the basics! It can be really comforting and rhythmic. Great plans, looking forward to seeing them!
Jacque: I’ve been knitting for almost 10 years (learned 35 years ago) and I still get excited by basic knitting and patterns 😃 i think I get more excited. Lovely choices
You are amazing as a knitter who has been knitting for one year Lived your winter plans and excited to see them finished. Also- I’m trying fingerless mittens rn
Cannot wait to see all of these, especially that cardigan!! Would brown-ish color buttons work with the navy? Love your yarn choices as well! Those colors are going to be beautiful! ❤
I've been knitting for over 20 years and I still like a simple project between more complex ones. I might work on a pair of vanilla socks or a Musselburgh hat (the ultimate in mindless stockinette knitting). Sometimes less excitement is better!
New subscriber! Thoroughly enjoyed this episode. Norma is at the top of my list for this winter. I have swatched and am ready to cast on. My primary focus for 2025 is to knit many of Sari Nordlund’s sweater and accessory patterns. I will be starting with her Lumme sweater. Just waiting for the yarn to arrive.
Welcome to the channel! 💓 Sari Nordlund has such beautiful designs. I knit a Lumme last year and it was my favorite sweater of the year. So beautiful and so fun to knit.
I know people gripe about purling but I knitted my first 45 years on straight needles. I have never had problems with purling because I did knit stitches as much as purl stitches. I am saying this to encourage you to do the Eva cardigan as written. It will give you practice in purling. I am guessing that by the end of it, you will be more comfortable with purling.
I’m working on the Roads Sweater right now! I finished the sleeves and just need to finish the body and neck. I’m also finishing my Eva Cardigan. I started it when I only had been knitting for about a year, and knitting flat was tricky, so it’s been in hibernation since the summer of 2024. My goal for 2025 is to finish it. No wonder I subscribed, such similar pattern tastes😊
I had to laugh when I saw what’s on your list. I bought the Eva cardigan pattern and I bought peer gynt in a Navy color. Not the one she used but a lighter shade of navy. I plan to knit it sometime this year. Hadn’t thought about steeking it but that’s a great idea. I’ll have to check out the Ravelry notes. You have a fun list of projects for this year.
I just cast on the Lakes pullover by ozetta- I had a hard time choosing between that one and the one you are making. I also have yarn for the Eva cardigan and was (hoping) to make it as well.
Loved hearing your plans! I just reached my “one year anniversary” of knitting this month. I’m also on a DK sock kick for cold nights at home. 😊
Happy Knitting Anniversary! I hope we both continue to knit for many more years to come! 💓💓

I am so glad you enjoyed the video, I can't wait to knit them all myself! You are so kind Jennifer and I love having you as a viewer! 💓

Thank you so much. I’ll try to document the steek to showcase it for you, my friend loves it so I’m hoping it goes well!
It’s then most fun picking out the buttons for your cardigan.
I’m so excited 😆 I am anxious to pick the right one!
These are really good knitting plans. Especially the Tulip Loops Vest! 🧶
I can’t wait to knit it! 🌸

Thank you so much for your kind compliments Ann! I hope you enjoy your fingerless mitts 💓
I have made several sweaters in the Cascade, it is a wonderful yarn, you will not be disappointed.
I’m excited to hear that! I’ve heard so many good things about it! 😊
oh I love tulip vest so much 🥰
It’s so fab I cannot wait for that one!

I think brown buttons would be absolutely gorgeous!!! That is also where my head is at right now 😊

Happy New Year, from Swansea, Illinois. 🎉🎉🎉🎉
Happy New Year to you too from Madison! 🎉
I steeked my Eva Cardigan, it’s a great idea.
That's awesome Heather, I'm so glad it worked out for you! That encourages me so much! Any tips?
I reinforced with machine stitching.

That is so true and I don’t mind a purl! Just want to try the thrill of a steek. However I would be open to a full cardigan as well.
Regia wool is bombproof. I wear my DK weight ones in boots/wellies/shoes with no problem at all. Also comfy indoors
I love to hear this Allison!!! 🤞🏻💓

I love that we have such similar tastes! 😊😊😊 you’ll have to let me know what you have coming up next!

The Lakes Pullover is a gorgeous choice, you'll love it! Two of my friends have made and I always think it is so cute!!! 🥰
Just curious- what pattern is the sweater you’re wearing?
This is the stripe hype by veronika lindberg! 😊
I love the Outlander series! So many great knits. That Eva cardi is going to be amazing in that Peer Gynt!
Aren’t the knits so fabulous?! I cannot wait to make it too!
