Love the fact you ‘chit chat’ during your podcasts - so interesting and fun to listen to, so please don’t stop! Started keeping an excel spreadsheet listing 12 finished body measurements, yarn weight, gauge etc. for my finished knitwear projects - helps decision-making on sizing for new projects. Thanks for another great podcast!
All of the yarn shops have closed near me, most of the knitting friends have moved away, so your chats are so welcome. I loved it all. I too, could survive on just soup, home made that is! Thank you so much , I enjoyed every minute
@@KnitTogetherwithKimJonna Pea soup with a ham bone in it, Chicken soup with lots of vegs, chicken tortilla soup, and Butternut squash, I've made bean soups but with little success . I prefer to make my own broth from Chicken bones to start.
Helllooo ladies! This was definitely one of my best Mondays in awhile. Recovering from a second surgery in a month and hopefully last for awhile. Crocheting granny squares is about all I can focus on but it’s all good. You both have kept me entertained this afternoon. Thank you so much for all your time and energy to share with us. I am so thankful for this knitting community. You keep me sane with sharing all your crazy insanity that goes on in your lives, as well. You both are very much appreciated. Listening to your maxi episode was a joy. Thank you! StitchedbyMimi
Hi Sandy, Sorry for the delayed reply, but thank you so much for watching and commenting! We're happy we could keep you company and share our crazy lives. :) K&J
It’s a thing over in the uk, and a constant joke that only ‘old ladies knit’ drives me insane. I think Kiki (kutavakika) is an amazing designer, she designed and made her wedding dress in 6 WEEKS!!!
I’m a soup person too, Jonna! I love the Moosewood Cookbook for soup recipe’s. Shetland Islands is a beautiful place to visit and buy yarn. However, I would love to go to Norway as well. And keep talking, ladies! Don’t change a thing about your podcast❤️
Love you two, so you are one of my favorites to watch. I highly recommend Fleece and Harmony. Kim and her husband have a wool mill and sheep on Prince Edwards Island, and Bakery Bears a husband and wife who have been producing for over 6 years. He had cancer and his wife taught him to knit during chemo.
Great questions great answers, I love your talking, your personal answers and knitting along and learning your knitting journeys. Thank you for all your sharing, love the new pink hair Kim.
Such a fun podcast..I’m so happy I found you. I’ve binge-watched all of your shows from start to the present so now I’m impatiently waiting for each new episode. You are never boring! Love catching up with another episode from you girls! The concept of the perfect sweater… I think it comes down to experience and the willingness to modify a sweater if there’s something wrong after a few wears. My favourites are ones where I’ve gone back and adjusted something to make it “perfect”. Then you can use that one as a template for the next sweater.
I just love you ladies ,another brilliant episode. I have been knitting for over 50 years since i was a tiny girl. I love knitting with a passion. It's so relaxing to sit and knit and watch your podcast. Hearing the answers to all of the questions is so fun, and the chit chat is great. I think the most I have re-cast on for a project is 7 times for the Gr8 Gingham sweater I am knitting right now. I was learning to knit color work in the round though, so it took a bit. Kim, your perfect knitting day sounds amazing. Jonna, I reserved the soup book from the library. Soup really is the best meal ever. Thanks for sharing with us!
Enjoying listening to you ladies! Kim-you helped take my guilt away from knitting too many hours a day, I tell myself that it’s a perk of retirement after years of work schedule and raising our family! Jonna-once you are finished with the 3rd season of All Creatures, have a look for the original series, filmed in the late 70’s into the 80’s! There are eight or nine seasons each with many more episodes than we get nowadays. The characters are the same with the addition of newer vets, but they’ve become like family each evening during dinner relaxation. You may have to listen harder to the dialect but these Yorkshire folks are incredibly witty 🐄🐴🐖🐓🩺🥼🇬🇧
As far as getting the perfect fit is concerned, there is no such thing. I have been knitting for over 40 years and have just recently realized that even store bought sweaters are not perfect...either the sleeves are too long, the shoulders too tight, etc, etc. My takeaway is just enjoy the process of your makes and you will naturally keep improving your skills and don't forget to take good notes for yourself! I really enjoyed hearing the questions and your answers today. Thanks ladies.
Great episode, loved the chit chat and I always learn something new, such a great podcast. It's so nice that your love of knitting is so different, such a great complement. I am a soup person and could eat the same thing for 7 days too, my husband doesn't :) Thanks Kim and Jonna, hope you are off to a great week!
The Felix pullover is on my list to do. I recently made a Vanilla Sweater from the woolly thistle that fits like a dream not too baggy, just right. As a younger knitter I was fearless, now I always question if it’s worth it. You tube instructions are a game changer.
Thanks for great knitting-company and good laughs, I really enjoy all your various types of episode! And Jonna, I totally agree regarding soup, I LOVE to cook but not always or all days. A big pot of delicious soup to enjoy when you get peckish is perfect and you get more time to knit but if someone serves you food that of course is great too. Looking forward to seeing you soon again!

Kim, for your Knitting Planner just put a packet in the back of your planner! Buy some scrapbooking paper that is sturdy, cut a triangular piece that will fit the back of the journal, and use craft glue (even ol' Elmers) on two sides of the triangle to hold it. You can also do a straight across pocket if that is easier for you. I make journals and always have lots of pockets. Thank you both for a great podcast.
Love this podcast ladies 😀 Kim you look Great in pink...your hair and sweater are excellent on you! My husband and I just finished Star Trek Series and loved it!! Sorry for the delayed reply, but thank you so much for watching and commenting! Intrelac looks so interesting. Will have to find a pattern to try it out. Or maybe just do a swatch... :)
Had to laugh during the time when you were talking about fixing mistakes I had knit several stitches in the row below when I should have purled and I was fixing each as I came to it.
Jonna, I recommend trying the Ladderback Jaquard method for float catching. I learned via Suzanne Bryan's UA-cam tutorial, and I found it immensely helpful when knitting all over colorwork socks that had some decent length floats, and I could see them when I tried catching. So I ripped back and did the ladderback, which solved the issue. It's a bit like Double Knitting if you've done that.
I am Danish and hope to go back for a visit this spring. So many new designers, dyers and woolen mills have appeared the last few years so it will be so exciting to go and visit them. I have really wondered why you didn’t pronounce your name the Danish way since I always thought you had a Danish connection, liking the designs, yarns and also knitting continental.
My parents never used the Danish pronunciation. I answer to either now! I would so love to visit Denmark. I am only a tiny bit Scandinavian. Mostly British/Irish.
Why are these people watching knit together with Kim and Jonna if they don’t want to hear you guys chatter on while they knit? The only reason I watch is cause I like hearing you guys chat. Also, I love the way you guys ramble on for 10 minutes then say, “What was the question?”. Priceless.
Thanks for sharing how many times you re-cast projects. I often have to restart, and if I can do ANY cast-on besides long tail....I will. The garter tab cast on seemed the hardest for me to learn. I think the first time, I tried it 20 times. I had to cut the yarn off a couple times because it got so grungy and overworked. lol. Even with youtube tutorials, I had a terrible time. Eventually, I was able to do it right....then I realized I still hated it because it was 'puckery'. So I now add 2 extra rows, one for each corner so its not so crowded. It works for me. But I still would rather not do it. I love listening to the two of you chat and laugh. Thank you as always!
Hej Kim an Jonna! 🧶 You both together have an enormous knowledge, I love listening to you and pick up some new to me things. Well, my vacation this summer: the north of Denmark 🇩🇰, home of Holst and Isager Yarn….I definitely will take a look and buy some yarn again🌟 Stay save and healthy 💕
Great podcast ladies. You mentioned Entrelac and no it’s not difficult at all. You should give it a try. A trick with entrelac is “learn to knit backwards” as you will get tired of constantly turning the section you are working on.
Yes, come to Denmark, Jonna (and Kim). In that vein, maybe also check out a newer Danish designer, Aegyoknit, who thinks outside the box, and Gepardgarn, a Danish yarn brand that has beautiful colours and qualities. Thanks for the podcast 🥰
You said favorite yarn and I know mine….Brooklyn Tweed especially shelter! I agree, you choose a yarn for many reasons, maybe the question would be …. If you could only choose one brand or one yarn what would it be?
Great podcast 🥰 I love knowing I’m probably so different than both of you but we have so much in common. I feel it so much hearing Kim talk about her love of knitting💕 and Jonna Myak truly is my favorite yarn to knit with and our knitting style is so similar. Y’all are blessed to have each other and thanks for sharing with all of us.
One of my worst fits was a Jennifer Steingas sweater. The yoke did not fit well through the shoulders either. I have broad shoulders and am about your size. Ii was able to salvage mine and it’s okay but I am cautious about yoke sweaters
I’ve made several circular yoke sweaters but that one was not going to work. I’m also leery of the Birkin by Caitlin Hunter, but it’s gorgeous. I think she reworked the pattern. I forgot to say, I really dislike 3-color stranded knitting!! 😳
I'm worried about winning too. So I also have cedar blocks and bags everywhere. Plus, the moth catches cardboard things that attract the moths, if there are any nearby. Thankfully, I haven't had any issues either, knock on wood. lol I'm knitting a sweater by an Isabell Kraemer with mYak Cloud yarn. It's incredible yarn. The pattern is very clear and impressive.
@@KnitTogetherwithKimJonna no worries. It's a great pattern. Super easy, I love her patterns they keep you on track, I like to adjust them a tad I just use my numbers.
Thanks for the great knitting tips and the new to me podcast recommendation (Young Folk Knits)! Also, I love that bright pink sweater! I didn't see it on Kim's Ravelry projects. Can I ask for the pattern name? (I love Jonna's scarf too, but that's not something I would wear myself. I'm more of the sweaters and jeans type.)
Hi Aileen, Sorry for the delayed reply, but thank you so much for watching and commenting! And believe it or not, I finally added my C2 sweater (the pink one) by Helga Isager to my Ravelry. :) Kim
Podcast recommendation: A Homespun House (love the vlogmas eps) and Kristy Glass!!Kristy Glass has awesome interviews to watch, including interviews with Arne and Carlos, Steven West, Caitlin Hunter and lots more!!! She’s interviewed sooooo many Knit Stars 🤩
I knit colourwork according to the Philosophers Wool company in Canada this old couple were on Fruity Knitting and she was a school teacher I just watched her video on their website over and over till I got it and MIracle of miracles - NO FLOATS love the rhythm of this knitting
About mistakes and ripping back - I've really leaned on a saying Andrea Mowry shared which is, "it is all knitting...and I love knitting." It always brings me back to a more calm and focused place and takes away the frustration that comes with the realization of a mistake.
Nice episode. I've made 3 Kumulus tee's and I love it. Only one of them I did the iCord bottom and neck. The others I picked up stitches and did ribbing. I don't like putting things down and I am usually a monogamous knitter. My dream project is something from Marie Wallin. I just don't know if I have the brain power to stick to that colour work.
Thank you ladies 💜 I just found a new knitting podcast called Albanach Knitter and he is from Scotland. I enjoyed his first episode.. The Maker’s Notebook is also a great podcast and always inspires me. Happy knitting💛
Ooo….Jonna, you could bing watch the older episodes of All Creatures Great and Small and savor the new episodes. Not sure if the older eps are still available though…. I’ll see if I can figure it out and let you know. ;-)
If you give a small donation to your local PBS affiliate, you will be able to stream All Creatures Great and Small as well as many other PBS faves. I read that book with a student a few years ago in anticipation of watching the series. After that, I couldn’t get in to the series, but maybe I’ll try again.
My dream knit would be something from Sidsel Hovlik (spelling may be wrong). Her designs are amazing. Also Christel Seyfarth. Both are interviewed by Andrea of Fruity Knitting. Older episodes. I don’t think I’ll ever do any of them.
Hi Ruth, Sorry for the delayed reply, but DREAM BIG!!! And KNIT BIGGER! Pick one of your dream knits, buy the yarn, and CAST ON! I (Kim) was so happy when I finally knit my Orkney. I couldn't even believe I had accomplished it. :) Kim
Thanks for the fun! IMHO, chatty videos = long videos that give me more time to knit = ❤ BTW, entrelac is super simple and you should try it.. My dream knit would to make myself a mantilla, a black lace veil that is worn by the mother-of-the-bride here in Spain. My youngest is still in college, but maybe I should start now! 😆
Hi, I really enjoy your knitting podcasts. I have not had any trouble with moths thus far, but would like to take precautions. Could you recommend a reputable company to buy cedar products from? Thank you and I hope you both have a beautiful week and weekend. Happy knitting. 🐑🧶💖
Knits n Pieces, Little Big Knits and Hawthorn Cottage - and you - are my favorite podcasters. For color work, I swear by a plastic knitting thimble (found on Ebay). I really don't think I have a dominant color using it, but maybe I'm just not seeing it.
Jonna~ knowing how much you love the Oslo hat and, recently, you said you were knitting the Musselburgh hat, I'm wondering if you have a favorite. Is it still the Oslo? They look very similar and I'm trying to decide which to do. Is one easier than the other? Watching you and Kim is a favorite hour. ☺️⛄🐾
So, I am making the Musselburgh with fingering and I am still not finished. It's a lot of knitting, for sure. I haven't been able to try it on to give you an opinion of the finished object. I didn't love doing all of those increases in such a small circumference. I would, at this point, still choose the Oslo! So many similar hats I would like to try. Such as the Manhattan Hat. I hope this helps!
Thank you, Jonna, for your reply!! I'll look forward to watching you and Kim and , hopefully, your thoughts upon completion of the Musselburgh. I made each of my 3 daughters different style hats for Christmas. Unfortunately, though nice hats they were all made holding a strand of Plotulopi and mohair together. Though they liked the hats, they found them to be too itchy. 😞 So, next Christmas, I'm thinking I'll try a hat more like the Oslo or Musselburgh that seem quite popular. Thank you, again! 🕊️⛄❄️
Saw a Spot sweater on Instagram knit by a Danish knitter. Just love it. She listed the yarns she used, but it’s Danish. I’m determined to translate this list and copy her. I’m making progress on the translation
Can you give the link or name of the podcast that tells about “ unacceptable” knitting practices? You also inspired me to try an Isabel Kramer pattern. Thanks for a good informative episode!
I probably missed it but I am curious to know what pattern Kim used to make the pink sweater she is wearing. I absolutely love it and love your podcast!
If you want a knitting challenge try the Nomad Hood, I have ripped it out about 20 times and now I have about 3 inches done but not real happy with it. 😂
I Love your videos so much. They are very inspiring for me. Jonna, would you kindly tell me the name of the scharf you were wearing? Greetings from Germany Marion
Jonna, you’ve probably mentioned this before so please forgive me for being repetitive…..where did you get the storage unit for your yarn that’s displayed behind you in your home videos? If it’s from IKEA can you tell me what it’s called?
Hello Ladies, I recommend Jana's podcasts, she is Finnish Knitting Stories and she has a yarn shop in Finland . She is also a dyer , Kettu knits. She is so lovely and funny. I love the Ladies from Wool and Wine too. xxx
Jonna, I totally understand your lack of knitting since the arrival of Teddy. I have a pup named Teddy too. He's now 18 months old and I still have to be extra diligent that he never has access to my yarn. I recommend that you get your Teddy on a reliable nap schedule and then jealously guard that time as YOURS. I have 2 hours each morning during which my Teddy naps, without complaint, in his kennel. I watch UA-cam videos and knit, crochet, or spin during that time. It is my therapy and I keep it as though it is a paid appointment.
Entrelac is not hard at all. You definitely could do it. Funny. I prefer doing pieced knitted afghans over one row afghans. I love the patchwork look. Plus, it’s much easier to handle small blocks than to feel the drag of a big blanket on the needles. But, I am one of those rare knitters who actually enjoys seaming and weaving in ends.
Hi Karen, Sorry for the delayed reply, but thank you so much for your encouragement! And I (Kim) don't really mind seaming, but I'm not sure I would enjoy seaming an entire afghan of squares. :) Kim
Colorwork is also not my favorite but Ladderback Jacquard technique for catching floats makes it much more enjoyable. Also TKGA (The Knitting Guild Association) has a master knitter program. And what do people expect you to do in a video if not talk? 🤣
I am having a problem with tension when knitting sweater sleeves using magic loop. The stitches are so tight I am fighting to get them back on the needle. Any suggestions?
I think it helps to use a long cord. I knit my Birkin sleeves on ChiaoGoo cord on the 2nd longest length and thought it was pretty smooth knitting. I got those mini needles and knit a cuff with one which was great for round and round.
Love the fact you ‘chit chat’ during your podcasts - so interesting and fun to listen to, so please don’t stop!
I have heard of it, thank you. I didn’t realize it could be used while knitting socks!
I am sure you would like it! Maybe some day!
Lovely again Kim u really suit that colour
I enjoyed this video. I love long, talk videos. Thank you both.
You should be soo welcome to visit Denmark 💕 I love your podcast 🧶🧶🧶
I’m a new follower. I really enjoy your podcasts. You have something special going! Looking forward to catching all you past and futures. 🙌🏼🧶✨
Welcome and thank you so much 💕
I love the talking don't stop 👍🥰🥰
Fabulous episode 🧶💗🧶
Why are these people watching knit together with Kim and Jonna if they don’t want to hear you guys chatter on while they knit? The only reason I watch is cause I like hearing you guys chat.
Also, I love the way you guys ramble on for 10 minutes then say, “What was the question?”. Priceless.
Haha, mostly (me) due to severe puppy brain!!
Hello ladies been looking forward to your next video, both looking relaxed, smart and happy xx
Thank you! That's all we can hope for!
Glad we're not alone!!
Me too Jonna,I love soup❤! Can have it every day.
Hi Katia,
Sorry for the delayed reply, but thank you so much for watching and commenting! Wish we could go to Denmark with you. Haha! :) K&J
@@KnitTogetherwithKimJonna That would be fun! ☺️🇩🇰 🧶 ☀️
Great podcast ladies. You mentioned Entrelac and no it’s not difficult at all. You should give it a try. A trick with entrelac is “learn to knit backwards” as you will get tired of constantly turning the section you are working on.
Thanks for the tip!
I cast in my Shift cowl at least 8-9 times 😂
We bet you learned a thing or two!! Jonna did, that's for sure.
OH MY!!! What gorgeous patterns. Thank you for sharing!
You said favorite yarn and I know mine….Brooklyn Tweed especially shelter! I agree, you choose a yarn for many reasons, maybe the question would be …. If you could only choose one brand or one yarn what would it be?
Kim, my favorite sweaters you’ve knit are: Sabela, Sweater no 14, and the green ranunculus! All 3: 👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻
Thank you!!
Ladies, thanks for another great episode, or mini-sode as the case may be!
I'm worried about winning too. So I also have cedar blocks and bags everywhere. Plus, the moth catches cardboard things that attract the moths, if there are any nearby. Thankfully, I haven't had any issues either, knock on wood. lol
I'm knitting a sweater by an Isabell Kraemer with mYak Cloud yarn. It's incredible yarn. The pattern is very clear and impressive.
Sorry for the delayed reply, but thank you for watching and commenting! How's your Isabell Kraemer sweater coming along? We love mYak yarn too. :) Kim
@@KnitTogetherwithKimJonna no worries. It's a great pattern. Super easy, I love her patterns they keep you on track, I like to adjust them a tad I just use my numbers.
Do come to Denmark. We have lots of Jonnas here 😊
I would love to!!
Hi Aileen,
Sorry for the delayed reply, but thank you so much for watching and commenting! And believe it or not, I finally added my C2 sweater (the pink one) by Helga Isager to my Ravelry. :) Kim
Jonna I love your scarf and the pin. What is the pattern?
Thank you. It's the Elk in the Woods by JuJu Vail and Susan Cropper.
www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/elk-in-the-woods
Kim, I have seen the Master Knitter program thru the Knitting Guild of America.
What pattern is that gorgeous red scarf
Hi! Here it is...www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/elk-in-the-woods
I knit colourwork according to the Philosophers Wool company in Canada this old couple were on Fruity Knitting and she was a school teacher I just watched her video on their website over and over till I got it and MIracle of miracles - NO FLOATS love the rhythm of this knitting
Thanks! Can’t wait to check it out.
This is the technique that Jonna uses.
About mistakes and ripping back - I've really leaned on a saying Andrea Mowry shared which is, "it is all knitting...and I love knitting." It always brings me back to a more calm and focused place and takes away the frustration that comes with the realization of a mistake.
Very nice way to think about it. I (Jonna) learned so much casting on that shawl 9 times!
Sorry for the delayed reply, but thanks for the suggestions! :)
Tape a pocket on one of the last pages of your planner.
What’s the name of the Katniss pattern? I’m really curious about those braids! 😂
Hi Sara. It's the Panem Katniss Cowl
www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/panem-katniss-cowl-wrap
Ooo….Jonna, you could bing watch the older episodes of All Creatures Great and Small and savor the new episodes. Not sure if the older eps are still available though…. I’ll see if I can figure it out and let you know. ;-)
Thank you, I’ve seen them all! Another podcast fav is Mel Makes Stuff. Excellent!!
@@KnitTogetherwithKimJonna of course you have !!! :-) like Escape to the country. Soooo good!
Hi Ruth,
Sorry for the delayed reply, but DREAM BIG!!! And KNIT BIGGER! Pick one of your dream knits, buy the yarn, and CAST ON! I (Kim) was so happy when I finally knit my Orkney. I couldn't even believe I had accomplished it. :) Kim
Hi ladies! Another great episode as always. I was wondering what yarn and pattern Kim was using for that baby blanket.
It’s her Vaike inspired baby blanket. The yarn is Lang Aura. Hi Everett!
Sounds beautiful! Yes, never too soon!
Hi, I really enjoy your knitting podcasts. I have not had any trouble with moths thus far, but would like to take precautions. Could you recommend a reputable company to buy cedar products from? Thank you and I hope you both have a beautiful week and weekend. Happy knitting. 🐑🧶💖
Jonna bought hers on Etsy.
@@KnitTogetherwithKimJonna Thank you.
Knits n Pieces, Little Big Knits and Hawthorn Cottage - and you - are my favorite podcasters. For color work, I swear by a plastic knitting thimble (found on Ebay). I really don't think I have a dominant color using it, but maybe I'm just not seeing it.
Interesting! Thank you.
whick katniss cowl are you making? There are so many patterns and I don't see one with braids.
Panem by Kristina Morrissey! ravel.me/panem-katniss-cowl-wrap
I also like Knitty Natty and the Knitty Stew, Ruth Loves to Knit, Giddy Knits, the Corner of Craft, Knit Ink, Skeins of Dreams, etc.
and Finnish Knitting Stories!
Thank you! If we had written them down, we would have included more! I love Mel Makes Stuff, too.
Saw a Spot sweater on Instagram knit by a Danish knitter. Just love it. She listed the yarns she used, but it’s Danish. I’m determined to translate this list and copy her. I’m making progress on the translation
It sounds like several of us would like to try an Anne Ventzel design!
What is the name of the pattern of the pink sweater that Kim is wearing?
It’s the C2 by Helga Isager.
@@KnitTogetherwithKimJonna
What yarn did u use?
Can you give the link or name of the podcast that tells about “ unacceptable” knitting practices? You also inspired me to try an Isabel Kramer pattern. Thanks for a good informative episode!
Haha! Yes, she is Kaci of the Youngfolk Knits podcast.
I probably missed it but I am curious to know what pattern Kim used to make the pink sweater she is wearing. I absolutely love it and love your podcast!
Hi and thank you. It’s the C2 by Helga Isager.
👍❤
If you want a knitting challenge try the Nomad Hood, I have ripped it out about 20 times and now I have about 3 inches done but not real happy with it. 😂
Is that the one Jackie from CadyJax made? It's lovely...I think she did an episode on it.
Webs in North Hampton Ma used to have a class to achieve master knitter before the pandemic.
I'm with Jonna about the soup! I often have to make a different dish for my husband because he doesn't like soup! I can eat soup daily!
My husband bought me this silicone thing for freezing soup into blocks, so I can have some freezer stock. Saved me when I’ve been sick for sure!
That sounds like something I need to look into! If you think of the name or a description, I'd appreciate it!
Jonna, do you have a link for Rebecca of crayabaya (?) The description you gave of her designs sounds so intriguing. Thank you!
Hi! Her podcast is Creabea Knitting. She is amazing! youtube.com/@the.creabea
You can slow her down if you need to! 🤣
Entrelac is not as hard as it looks! It’s actually really fun. Try doing something small, like a dishcloth, to see what you think. 😊
You still have to be talented to make beautiful knits. Some peoples work is better than others - so just take the compliment ;)
Glue an envelop in the back of your notebook as a substitute for the pocket.
Great idea!
I Love your videos so much. They are very inspiring for me. Jonna, would you kindly tell me the name of the scharf you were wearing? Greetings from Germany
Marion
Thank you, Marion. It’s the Elk in the Woods scarf.
Jonna, you’ve probably mentioned this before so please forgive me for being repetitive…..where did you get the storage unit for your yarn that’s displayed behind you in your home videos? If it’s from IKEA can you tell me what it’s called?
No worries! It’s the Kallax by IKEA.
What is the name of the scarf Jonna is wearing, please
Hi Denise, it's the Elk in the Woods. Here's the link.

Hello Ladies, I recommend Jana's podcasts, she is Finnish Knitting Stories and she has a yarn shop in Finland . She is also a dyer , Kettu knits. She is so lovely and funny. I love the Ladies from Wool and Wine too. xxx
Hi Karen,
Sorry for the delayed reply, but thank you so much for the suggestions! And thank you for watching and commenting. :) Kim
This is a great idea, thank you!
Kim, we don't use sticks, we use magic Wands! We make magic with our knitting.
I love this! :) Kim
Hey guys, there is an Master knitters degree that you can get and it takes about three years look into it
Yes! I (Kim) just looked into it, but I don't even think I'm qualified to apply. 🤣 It sounds really serious. 😳 🤣 Kim
Does putting Cedar with your yarn and knitted items make them smell cedar-y?
Not at all. I suppose it could? I sprinkle my cedar with cedar essential oil just to be safe!
Hi Karen,
Sorry for the delayed reply, but thank you so much for your encouragement!
LOL, we always say that...what else are we supposed to do??
I am having a problem with tension when knitting sweater sleeves using magic loop. The stitches are so tight I am fighting to get them back on the needle. Any suggestions?
I think it helps to use a long cord. I knit my Birkin sleeves on ChiaoGoo cord on the 2nd longest length and thought it was pretty smooth knitting. I got those mini needles and knit a cuff with one which was great for round and round.
@@GATeacherfriend thank you. I will try a longer cord.
