Freshened Up French Provincial Furniture Makeover

- This classic French Provincial Chest on Chest got a Cottage Core or Granny Chic makeover with some minty fresh chalk paint! My Mom has recently decided to purge all of the excess furniture in her house and she’s gifted a lot of it to me- to flip. This dresser is a little more traditional in style than I’ve been working on lately but I still adore it all the same. I wasn’t feeling particularly chatty this week and I couldn’t find any music that I loved for the background so please enjoy the toned down garage soundtrack instead.

I love your videos, I have always played around with furniture, but never did it enough to get pro at it. You have helped me sell a few pieces, no great profit, just paid for a lot of materials that I needed to stock up on, good brushes and some chalk paint. Thank you. @@salvagedbykscott So I have a piece that is exactly this shape/style but has a white Formica-like top to it not on the edge just the top....piece is in beautiful shape and was the childhood set of a wonderful friend of mine. And I want to preserve it. It has the gold edges to it. What do you suggest I do with the top? It has no cracks or chips in it. Just keep it on there?
I have another piece of furniture I’m working on....and lemme say...not all pieces should be salvaged.

Katie, I repainted the exact same Dixie dresser I picked up for $20.00. Only I sanded and stained the top and painted the body. It turned out lovely and sold quickly. Your dresser was a Very nice colour.
