Drued orubes abd dares can be soaked in warm water to soften them.
Prunes can also help bone loss and also increase bone density.
Prune has an unpleasant test to eat, therefore I make smoothie with mango or banana to drink. To overcome choking issue, I soak prune in water & keep it in fridge & use it whenever I need. Even it passes the expire date it seems good.

Well explained about the nutrition values in prunes & dates dr.
But can you elaborate further on the daily intake of these item for the desired daily amount of required nutrients?
As you mentioned from the prunes we can get 6-7 grams of fiber. By having 100gms of purnes.
But 100gms daily intake of prunes are advisable?? Considering the amount of natural sugar intake would be 38gms for 100gms prunes.
Kindly advise.

One Prune contains about 3 gms of sugar. 6 prunes (~50 gms) contains about 18 gms of sugar.
Make sure that the packet says "no added sugar".

Doctors say there is no fiber in juices as the fiber is filtered out.
But if we juice the fruit and consume it without filtering the fiber ,is the fiber content the same(as in whole fruit )or is it still lost?

You haven’t mentioned amount of dates/prunes everyday to consume.
Preservatives, including chemicals that are not good for health are added in dried prunes, figs, dates. So, inspite of having many benefits, is it healthy to consume dried fruits regularly. How do you suggest to eat these dried fruits without adversely affecting our health.

If you say fiber in prunes is 7 to 8 gms, it would be good if you also say what should be the serving quantity to get this 7 to 8% of fiber. Example eat 5 or 6 prunes to get this nutrients. Thanks 🙏
