i gotta be honest, you took a good build and made it bad. just to please some crybabys that cant read, think and understand. the most you should do for them is feel bad, but not babysit them so they get used to it and outrage even more next time around. if they dont learn themselves they will never learn anything.

Thank you for posting this. I for one do not try to max paragon level or run the highest possible rifts. I normally just log in for the season and get the seasonal content completed then I'm done until the next season starts up. Having builds like this available for people with less skill and like me older age is a boon.
I’m the same but this is the first season I pushed past GR100, mostly thanks to Raxx’s videos, but normally my wife and I log in, do the Season, and scoot till next season lol

So I started looking around for some cool builds for whatever reason noticed DH Marauder sentry build, it totally changed my mind about D3. I was getting like 4m damage 110 toughness and 70 something survivability, was running thru GR 120s and felt like a king. So I decide to get in a season midway thrui (last season, 26) learned seasonal play is a LOT different and im basically a newb even after playing so long. So now im in my 2nd season, started from day 1, i'm like paragon 600 but still havent completed seasonal journey because of terrible rolls and not getting but 2 pieces of my set I wanna play, ive tried tweaking EVERYTHING, but i cant solo at T16. Sad I know.But once i get my full suit, imll start augmenting and find that piece to sanctify, ive got both twin daggers already but they are trash, got a decent axe doing 4700 damage and got my cube somewhat ok no akbos whatever sword tho so im screwed basically. So ima scrub at 500p and also, slow cause i had to sacrifice speed to stay alive. so after i get my season gear imll switch to this build, lol. ultra lazy and dont want to learn how to perfectly proc a rend in a GR150 mob circle hoping my stuff procs. Thanks for giving us casuals these builds we can actually DO and not feel like a slave to some boss that doesnt exist (well clan leader) ;)
Thanks Raxx. Did a GR110 without any augments, gems only level 60, and paragons still under 800, deathless. Great build. Update: And with 807 paragons, season journey completed (everything solo).
For those who still wanna keep the same guardians/focus/restraint set-up, I found swapping out one of your skills for Blood Vengeance passive will greatly mitigate the resource issue. Hope this helps
Yeah, this is an important point. Since Raxx is playing hardcore, he dropped Blood Vengeance for Awareness (cheat death) which is a huge blow to your mobility. If you're playing softcore, you can keep Blood Vengeance, which will allow you to close the gap with this new build in terms of completion times, while keeping the higher DPS so you can farm higher GRs and get more XP/hour. Of course, if you're willing to sacrifice some efficiency for a much more laid back playstyle, this new build is the way to go. More options is always a good thing, and you should pick what best suits your preferences.
I just started this season a couple days ago (finally bought RoS after years of not playing D3). This was helpful, up until I finally got a Dawn to cube and got permanent Vengeance uptime. I'm basically one-shotting everything right now, though the highest I've done is GR25. Cheers
Even with blood vengeance I still ran out unless I had a nice map with lots of elites. But I just tried this and it was so damn smooth. Dropped down a few GR to 113 and was under 2 min on an okay map. Going to keep using this for speed GRs. The build is really close to my push setup anyway. Just a couple items and skills swapped
I've been quick farming as a wizard in a delsere+frost missiles these past couple of days, I literally just spam magic missiles and teleport from one slow time bubble to the other all the time, no arcane power spent, mobs melt at the edge of my screen and I even increase the damage of other players for free.
Love the build, as always. What i also love is how at the start of the season i want a Lord Greenstone's Fan but get a Karlei's Point, and now that i need Karlei's - the cube mostly gives me Lord Greenstone's. FML
Instructions unclear. I rolled a cruSADer and now I have no joy....... LOL thanks for the uploads raxx and for trying to make our lives easier. I rolled a DH on day 2 after getting my wiz geared out. I kept trying to make Tal Rasha's as braindead as possible. I (eventually) found an Aether Walker, but before that I found I could work in 2 piece DMO with 6 TR and the MM angelic power......... SOOOO MANY BUBBLES lol and infinite ports. It wasnt completely braindead, but as close as I could get it at the time.
Raxx, I literally sat and pondered and experimented with how to give my impale DH more speed and survivability, this morning... because it is sooo slow I can't keep up with my partys. You are a Godsend - thx for your awesome guides!
I have a version of this that costs almost zero Discipline and moves faster Swap out COE for Zodiac Swap Dawn in the cube for Lianna's Wings Give Smoke Screen the Displacement rune Mash Shadow Power instead of Smoke Screen Make sure you have Tactical Advantage passive active The Zodiac makes up for the missing Dawn. With Lianna's wings you get the Displacement rune activated every time you hit Shadow Power for max speed. It also triggers the Tactical Advantage for even more speed and the Elusive Ring for dmg reduction. One button does it all with this setup.
I ran this for bounties and rifts but was running out of hatred due to me killing things too quick so I made a variation of this build by cubing cinder coat, taking one of the fire runes for strafe and putting a topaz in the helm. Not perfect but it gets the job done

Trag Death Nova with blood rush boots : 8mil HP, 1.3 Bil Toughness, 100% movement between blood rushes, instant triple nova wipe out elite packs, super fast pace... insane surviability... and.. all u do is left click to proc/leech life? Most fun build I've ever played. I did a few tweaks on hardcore for movement speed.
While I am playing this and loving it, I wouldn't call it braindead for the average person. I started it with my legendary gems on 0 not 150 like yours. I have never been so fast in my time on Diablo. The challenge for me was to balance being fast enough not to get killed with being able to follow myself on the screen. I am on switch playing on my TV. As my gems go up in level it is better. and I have worked out the balance. I was on 112 with my standard build which was similar to yours. I can only get to 107 but am coming up now. It is so much fun. thank you. I have played for years and am still learning from you.
I've noticed that builds PC players call "braindead" are anything but on console, whereas on keyboard you can just spam your num keys to maintain buffs, we have to consciously press every button on a controller
Interesting. I will have to farm the items and try this. I think mobility is the one weakness with the original build. The question, really, is which will be most efficient for paragon farming. 40 seconds faster per rift is quite an advantage, even if it's 4-5 tiers lower.
Went from farming GR 45's on the UE build. Was just chilling enjoying myself. Started looking around to see other builds. Saw this one, had all the stuff in my stash. Went from like 3-4 min 45's to a 2.5 min GR 90. LOL! This is strong and fast af
Reworked this build into a fast bounty build: As you do not need as much damage output for bounties Cube visage of gune - Change vengeance to seethe Change coe to avarice Passive: drop ambush and select blood vengeance Spin to win and instagib everything around == Profit
!IMPORTANT! Raxx is wrong about the Impale rune! Lightning is by far the best, so it goes: 1. Lightning 2. Fire (minus ~40s) 3. Cold (minus ~90s) 4. Physical (awful) Also don't worry about what elemental you have on your gear! Just make sure all 4 items have the same elemental and wear the Stone of Jordan, which makes all elemental damage equal to your highest.
08-24 and I get quicker times out of lightning. It may be a play style difference between how fire and lightning trigger that makes the difference builds.
I do the same with the Goblin Blaster 9000 build you showed. Don't run out of hatred or discipline and fast af! Did the Boss Mode conquest in 15mins with that build on T16.

Shadow Power/Glide, Preparation / Focused Mind, Smoke Screen / Special Recipe, Vengeance / Seethe. Tac Adv, Blood V, Hot Pursuit, Ambush)
That's hilarious. I'm, already, getting a sore finger from constantly holding down the #4 button (Strafe) on my Gob Blaster 9000. I don't have to fire my Bolas, because I'm not losing any Hatred. About "The Easiest Most Brain Dead Build in Diablo 3" some thoughts to say: It's cool and really brain dead. Ty for an idea for fast farming GR. In my experience - i have a problem. My paragon lvl is 600 and i have only 8k dex. The damage is good for fast GR100 and i will easily get my paragon lvl. But my defenses is very low. MY TIP: To start using this build u need at least 14-15k dex and have 40-45mls toughness in profile (without buffs). Then it will scale to 350-450mls, so become good enought. P.S. i have key bound smoke screen to mousewheel ,vengeance to mouse button 4,preparation to mouse 3 and shadow power(shadow glide} to mouse 5. and i use overpenetration with a frostburn in cube with mantle of channeling equiped and guardian set, conv.of elements and elusive ring. not as speedy but even more lazy cos of no use of buttons. tx for making this vid i really like it.

My favorite brain dead build was a super niche DH one built around auras. I don't remember exactly but essentially you have an aura that is set to cold, which procs a little damage because of a legendary that makes cold attacks deal damage, and then that causes a poison debuff that's buffed by efficacious gem, and that gets them down to 1/3 hp, where they insta-die from that aura. You literally don't press any buttons and just walk around. Might be worth fiddling with for a vid
Absolutely love this build. I was feeling slow indeed and that just never feels good thanks how putting it out there. Do you think I can run this at roughly 1.2k para without it being too much of an exp lose considering guardians is worth a lot still? Nevertheless totally gonna check this build out!
So brain dead! I just switched from UE multishot and ran a 110; forgot and thought I was running a T16 NR for a sec. I am getting wrist and elbow pain from running my WoL monk and I think this is going to help a lot! Thank you very much!!!
Ran a T16 and thought - so so. Then I jumped to 90 - 2:02 - Keep in mind I just hit paragon 1001, and have less than stellar gear (5 still not ancient!)! I still had a too low warning so went to 100, in 2:42. My Highest before the change was a 108 in 8:38 -so I retried it and dropped time to 5:41, so I said WTH, let's try 110. My mistake! I Never ran out of Hatred!! But am not actually strong enough to kill most enemies, let alone one shot them. All in all Thank You, Truly enjoying the mindless part - - - now to get more dmg to enjoy the killing part. (Old age is not a term I use, I am a still youngster at 69.)
If you are still having issues with not generating any Hatred even when you turn up the GR level take a look at your Hold Point Shot and make sure that the secondary you have is: Strafe now casts the last non-channeled Hatred spending ability cast. (Demon Hunter Only). Very important part of the build that did not get mentioned. Hope this helps yall out.
@@spencerandben And you can continue sanctifying the same one over and over. I keep one on my DH and another in the stash to keep using crucibles on until I get a really good one and can swap it out.
I did this same thing to unhallowed essence set for MEGA FAST rifts and bounties. you can make it EVEN FASTER with wreath of lightning legendary gem, rifts in 30 to 60 seconds with a good map. changes for unhallowed set are Leoric's crown in cube (more CDR), wreath of lightning gem instead of bane of the trapped, Hellfire amulet for extra passive, Ambush, Ballistics and Archery for offence, Hot Pursuit and tactical advantage for Movement speed, and better to take stone of Jordan for extra discipline which you will be sacrificing some of for the infinite discipline rescource pool. Results are AMAZING. pls try this and share with Friends and community, bounties have never been this easy. PS. bonus its equally brain dead to play!

Great video as always! However, I find that some of these present different challenges when you play Diablo 3 on PS4 vs. the PC. I can put together everything you have listed here but my coordination to replicate what you're doing here with a PS4 controller seems to be lacking. I'm older (57) so perhaps that's the issue...coordination isn't what it used to be and I run out of resources anyway because mashing the buttons on PS4 is different from the keyboard. One of the reasons I like Diablo because you can still play it and enjoy it while most games out today are made for teens and 20 somethings in terms of coordination. For me, the most brain-dead easy setups are more like Monk Justice build or Barbarian Whirlwind...to do well you don't need so much coordination as you do the right equipment and knowing how to maximize what you can. Perhaps that's another video opportunity for you...Diablo for old folks who need things to be fairly straight forward in terms of coordination. (laughing). I've been playing Diablo 3 since it came out and I've never made it to 150...it'd be nice to before I'm really too old!
I've been playing with In-geom as a main weapon, Karlei in cube (no dawn), with captain crimsons. You get 100% Vengeance uptime (if you have 55% cdr or more), In-geom has higher natural dmg than Karlei, and easier rolls so you can sanctify quiver and still have high chance of getting a decent weapon. I really like it... also lightning rune can richocket on same elite several times so i use that :)
It's so wild to watch this video because I did this exact, and I mean exact, same set of changes to my strafe multi shot build to speed it up. I will try it out with Impale.
Nice build! FoH sader with the crucible power is the chillest speed build I’ve ever played, you don’t even need to attack if you don’t use focus/restraint. Just hit pony on cooldown, and use iron skin/laws/akarat champion and it’s easy peasy.
Bro can I tell you I have a level 70 hardcore crusader that I actually fell asleep playing the game multiple times holding the trigger which had blessed hammer on it and apparently I had my other thumb on the joystick and somehow managed to actually maneuver through the game going in and out of sleep no it was all made possible because of two very particularly interesting legendary items one that made blessed Hammer 500% more effective and another that returned its mana value or whatever the f it's called when it hit three or less enemies. Now I actually woke up many many times while doing a play through with this character, I had a few close calls but every time that controller vibrated when I was asleep and passed the f*** out I woke up and immediately used the potion and kept swinging hammers. I think I play it on torment difficulty now but I haven't touched that since I started playing Diablo 2 resurrected And my second favorite is my demon Hunter who can infinitely use rapid arrow or whatever it's called I just need something to start it with and then it's just shoot shoot shoot till the day I die which he has yet to die either he's not hardcore though I wish he was
Switched my strafe impale to this build and after a couple of false starts this is great! I like that it has a built in way to tell when it's time to move up in GR level, when you can't keep your hatred up. Little tough to keep the hatred up in the echoing nightmares early though.
You can switch Bola to the 7 hatred option. Fire 2-3 times or so, strafe for a bit, repeat until they're hp starts rising. You could also have a friend carry you for the first few levels.
been playing d3 since launch, im not paragon 2000 even on non season, so the guardian set is the best thing that happened to players like me since the follower gear change.
or you equip blood vengeance as a passive and take care of collectiong the orbs :) works fine for me and make mor exp per run becauise of higher damage from guardians set + focus and restraint. not running out of discipline at all.
Great build! I am sure there are some ways to make a Macro that will spam the three skills for you so all you have to do is hold right mouse and enable the macro until the grift is done.
I'm sure there are, but seeing how a macro like that can easily get you banned, I wouldn't recommend it and you won't ever see streamers suggest it, advocate for it, or endorse it.
@@billymays9296 I've been using the numlock trick for years with no issues. I don't think Blizzard is going to ban me or anyone for using something that it's implemented that way. I'm pretty sure Blizzard knows about it and never bothered to "fix" it if there is something to fix.
@@GreyGooseNWO What you do in the first place is assing a secondary key for a skill in your numpad. In my case all the skills I have in 1-4 had them asigned the numpad 1-4 too. If I want the skill 2 cast like if I were constantly pressing the 2 key I press the Numpad 2 and the Numlock key at the same time. I normally do this with skills that have a long cooldown as with low cooldown skills can be pretty annoyng (it stops teleport as soon a skill is cast). In my case I normally play DH a lot so I use it mostly with Vengeance. At first it was a bit annoying listening your character telling you it can't cast it because cooldown it's not finished but I got used to it. If I remember right I learned this from Quin (some D3 "oldtimers" may remember him) but seems like he has been more dedicated to Path of Exile lately. This build is good but it's a resource hog on lower levels and you must play higher level grifts or you'll quickly run out of discipline. Great build though, I'm at gr 111 with it so far without much hassle. This build is definitely for pushing and UE multishot spin for speed farming, although that build needs more speed.
Crusader got the moust dead brain build. You just stay on your horse that's it( 1 button),you can clean grs 100 in 6 minutes. On your DH" you roll your face on keyboard" to keep up the dmg and speed.

I know fire rune is more damage on single target, but sometimes you get 30 small shit mobs around the elite and it really makes it slower without any AoE, so I'll try to roll some nice quiver/bracers/neck with cold and try that, looks really good in comparison
yeah this is pissing me off too, when I join random groups sometimes there's no good trash killer so if its a little above my optimal speed level the trash renders me ineffective at hunting
you're exposing my old build xD I cannot even recomment it enough, how nice this is for mindless farm if you're more of a solo player like me. Tho I'm not playing DH this season, it's pretty much the same build I've played in S21 or S22 (or both? I dont remember now) the only difference was bow/quill and instead of shadows set it was GoD, so hungering arrow was used. But all other pieces/cube were like that and oh boy the farming just went by itself :D
I'm not a DH player, never really knew how it works, but gave this build a shot and I can assure you 100% that it is fully brain=off easiest build I've ever played, and really powerful
Watched the video and thought,"CERTAINLY, RAX, IT ISN'T THIS EASY." I have no pieces of ancient for this set, no augments, and am blazing thru 105s using only my toes. CAN. CONFIRM. BREN DED MODE.
i found that you can also do this with multishot UE, using the strafe angel passive. obviously won't go into high GRs (100s), but nice to just chill with.
Is this speed variant any better than just running the UE GR Speed build? I can clear 100 pretty quickly with UE. Also, when pushing would you use this build or switch to the standard slower build? Thx for the great vids!
Your content rocks. You're nice, too (important). Here's a heterodox question (is it, though?). Sometimes I like to play the game totally chill and none of the fast stuff. What might be the best build for that kind of gameplay, provided this style of play prob'ly has limits relative the hardcore folk and certain levels of difficulty?

I Have 1 setup like this in HCMode, kills everything instantly in rift 16 with strafe. In normal mode, My strafe does no damage 200mil-500mil and i'm getting 1 shotted. I have all the gear required, 600+paragon, exact same skillset as shown in maxroll on BOTH characters, Edit: the seasonal bonus was not the same on the quiver - found the prob.
Even better, run with the obsidian ring and elusive ring instead. Then you can keep l the guardian set, mantle of channeling, put a topaz in helm. And you can run whatever utility item you want in your armor slot in the cube. I like the krelms belt because it's a guaranteed speed buff in low density areas with no breakable objects. Speeding 110s with ease with this setup.
One of my favorite survivability methods for regular rift farming is gold wrap and boon of the hoarder - I get billions of toughness in the stat screen and can dedicate every other item slot to damage or speed increases
I like to think of the generators as how you think about "pumping" a shotgun before firing. So you know ||: pump pump shoot :|| depending on the need to replenish hatred.

Awesome edit of the build. I must be too low paragon to be effective I guess though. The build feels very squishy still the moment you run out of hatred. Running GR 100's but still die a lot. Paragon 656 though. Should I swap to guardian set instead of crimson? I see people running crimson at low paragon at least. And if yes, that leaves the pants slot open if you still cube the mantle of channeling.
Been having this EXACT same issue around the same para level. Even not running out of hatred, I'm just dying instantly to random trash and it's hella frustrating. Might try the same build with guardians myself.
OMG I thought I was doing something wrong, went from T10 to T16 and I was building no hatred, had to go to a GR85 to start generating hatred. He is not kidding when he says turn up the level especially if you are like I was, going from a very low level start build to this one.

So now im in my 2nd season, started from day 1, i'm like paragon 600 but still havent completed seasonal journey because of terrible rolls and not getting but 2 pieces of my set I wanna play, ive tried tweaking EVERYTHING, but i cant solo at T16. Sad I know.But once i get my full suit, imll start augmenting and find that piece to sanctify, ive got both twin daggers already but they are trash, got a decent axe doing 4700 damage and got my cube somewhat ok no akbos whatever sword tho so im screwed basically. So ima scrub at 500p and also, slow cause i had to sacrifice speed to stay alive. so after i get my season gear imll switch to this build, lol. ultra lazy and dont want to learn how to perfectly proc a rend in a GR150 mob circle hoping my stuff procs.
Thanks for giving us casuals these builds we can actually DO and not feel like a slave to some boss that doesnt exist (well clan leader) ;)

For those who still wanna keep the same guardians/focus/restraint set-up, I found swapping out one of your skills for Blood Vengeance passive will greatly mitigate the resource issue. Hope this helps
Yeah, this is an important point. Since Raxx is playing hardcore, he dropped Blood Vengeance for Awareness (cheat death) which is a huge blow to your mobility. If you're playing softcore, you can keep Blood Vengeance, which will allow you to close the gap with this new build in terms of completion times, while keeping the higher DPS so you can farm higher GRs and get more XP/hour. Of course, if you're willing to sacrifice some efficiency for a much more laid back playstyle, this new build is the way to go. More options is always a good thing, and you should pick what best suits your preferences.
I just started this season a couple days ago (finally bought RoS after years of not playing D3). This was helpful, up until I finally got a Dawn to cube and got permanent Vengeance uptime. I'm basically one-shotting everything right now, though the highest I've done is GR25. Cheers
Even with blood vengeance I still ran out unless I had a nice map with lots of elites. But I just tried this and it was so damn smooth. Dropped down a few GR to 113 and was under 2 min on an okay map. Going to keep using this for speed GRs. The build is really close to my push setup anyway. Just a couple items and skills swapped
What procs focus/restraint in that case? Sounded like he used the generator for that before. Might just be me not understanding (I'm new).
I've been quick farming as a wizard in a delsere+frost missiles these past couple of days, I literally just spam magic missiles and teleport from one slow time bubble to the other all the time, no arcane power spent, mobs melt at the edge of my screen and I even increase the damage of other players for free.
I’m using a LoD magic missile from Wudijo - same thing but you just need MM and teleport. Amazingly fast for NRs
Love the build, as always. What i also love is how at the start of the season i want a Lord Greenstone's Fan but get a Karlei's Point, and now that i need Karlei's - the cube mostly gives me Lord Greenstone's. FML
Since this is the easiest legendary to farm shouldn’t be much of a problem.

I rolled a DH on day 2 after getting my wiz geared out. I kept trying to make Tal Rasha's as braindead as possible. I (eventually) found an Aether Walker, but before that I found I could work in 2 piece DMO with 6 TR and the MM angelic power.........
SOOOO MANY BUBBLES lol and infinite ports. It wasnt completely braindead, but as close as I could get it at the time.

Swap out COE for Zodiac
Swap Dawn in the cube for Lianna's Wings
Give Smoke Screen the Displacement rune
Mash Shadow Power instead of Smoke Screen
Make sure you have Tactical Advantage passive active
The Zodiac makes up for the missing Dawn. With Lianna's wings you get the Displacement rune activated every time you hit Shadow Power for max speed. It also triggers the Tactical Advantage for even more speed and the Elusive Ring for dmg reduction. One button does it all with this setup.
I ran this for bounties and rifts but was running out of hatred due to me killing things too quick so I made a variation of this build by cubing cinder coat, taking one of the fire runes for strafe and putting a topaz in the helm. Not perfect but it gets the job done

Trag Death Nova with blood rush boots : 8mil HP, 1.3 Bil Toughness, 100% movement between blood rushes, instant triple nova wipe out elite packs, super fast pace... insane surviability... and.. all u do is left click to proc/leech life? Most fun build I've ever played. I did a few tweaks on hardcore for movement speed.

While I am playing this and loving it, I wouldn't call it braindead for the average person. I started it with my legendary gems on 0 not 150 like yours. I have never been so fast in my time on Diablo. The challenge for me was to balance being fast enough not to get killed with being able to follow myself on the screen. I am on switch playing on my TV. As my gems go up in level it is better. and I have worked out the balance. I was on 112 with my standard build which was similar to yours. I can only get to 107 but am coming up now. It is so much fun. thank you. I have played for years and am still learning from you.
I've noticed that builds PC players call "braindead" are anything but on console, whereas on keyboard you can just spam your num keys to maintain buffs, we have to consciously press every button on a controller

I think mobility is the one weakness with the original build.
The question, really, is which will be most efficient for paragon farming. 40 seconds faster per rift is quite an advantage, even if it's 4-5 tiers lower.
Went from farming GR 45's on the UE build. Was just chilling enjoying myself. Started looking around to see other builds. Saw this one, had all the stuff in my stash. Went from like 3-4 min 45's to a 2.5 min GR 90. LOL! This is strong and fast af

Reworked this build into a fast bounty build:
As you do not need as much damage output for bounties
Cube visage of gune - Change vengeance to seethe
Change coe to avarice
Passive: drop ambush and select blood vengeance
Spin to win and instagib everything around == Profit
avarice emanates so you really shouldnt wear it yourself, just put it on your follower

Raxx is wrong about the Impale rune! Lightning is by far the best, so it goes:
1. Lightning
2. Fire (minus ~40s)
3. Cold (minus ~90s)
4. Physical (awful)
Also don't worry about what elemental you have on your gear! Just make sure all 4 items have the same elemental and wear the Stone of Jordan, which makes all elemental damage equal to your highest.
08-24 and I get quicker times out of lightning. It may be a play style difference between how fire and lightning trigger that makes the difference builds.
I do the same with the Goblin Blaster 9000 build you showed. Don't run out of hatred or discipline and fast af! Did the Boss Mode conquest in 15mins with that build on T16.

I have only ever played ww/rend barb and confess to losing interest quickly in most seasons. This build looks way quicker for levelling Paragon.

That's hilarious. I'm, already, getting a sore finger from constantly holding down the #4 button (Strafe) on my Gob Blaster 9000. I don't have to fire my Bolas, because I'm not losing any Hatred. About "The Easiest Most Brain Dead Build in Diablo 3" some thoughts to say:
It's cool and really brain dead. Ty for an idea for fast farming GR.
In my experience - i have a problem. My paragon lvl is 600 and i have only 8k dex. The damage is good for fast GR100 and i will easily get my paragon lvl. But my defenses is very low.
MY TIP: To start using this build u need at least 14-15k dex and have 40-45mls toughness in profile (without buffs). Then it will scale to 350-450mls, so become good enought.

i have key bound smoke screen to mousewheel ,vengeance to mouse button 4,preparation to mouse 3 and shadow power(shadow glide} to mouse 5. and i use overpenetration with a frostburn in cube with mantle of channeling equiped and guardian set, conv.of elements and elusive ring. not as speedy but even more lazy cos of no use of buttons. tx for making this vid i really like it.
You could also swap the gem in helm to topaz for even more rcr and dmg reduction

My favorite brain dead build was a super niche DH one built around auras. I don't remember exactly but essentially you have an aura that is set to cold, which procs a little damage because of a legendary that makes cold attacks deal damage, and then that causes a poison debuff that's buffed by efficacious gem, and that gets them down to 1/3 hp, where they insta-die from that aura. You literally don't press any buttons and just walk around. Might be worth fiddling with for a vid

So brain dead! I just switched from UE multishot and ran a 110; forgot and thought I was running a T16 NR for a sec. I am getting wrist and elbow pain from running my WoL monk and I think this is going to help a lot! Thank you very much!!!
Ran a T16 and thought - so so. Then I jumped to 90 - 2:02 - Keep in mind I just hit paragon 1001, and have less than stellar gear (5 still not ancient!)! I still had a too low warning so went to 100, in 2:42. My Highest before the change was a 108 in 8:38 -so I retried it and dropped time to 5:41, so I said WTH, let's try 110. My mistake! I Never ran out of Hatred!! But am not actually strong enough to kill most enemies, let alone one shot them. All in all Thank You, Truly enjoying the mindless part - - - now to get more dmg to enjoy the killing part. (Old age is not a term I use, I am a still youngster at 69.)

If you are still having issues with not generating any Hatred even when you turn up the GR level take a look at your Hold Point Shot and make sure that the secondary you have is: Strafe now casts the last non-channeled Hatred spending ability cast. (Demon Hunter Only). Very important part of the build that did not get mentioned. Hope this helps yall out.

@@spencerandben And you can continue sanctifying the same one over and over. I keep one on my DH and another in the stash to keep using crucibles on until I get a really good one and can swap it out.

I did this same thing to unhallowed essence set for MEGA FAST rifts and bounties. you can make it EVEN FASTER with wreath of lightning legendary gem, rifts in 30 to 60 seconds with a good map. changes for unhallowed set are Leoric's crown in cube (more CDR), wreath of lightning gem instead of bane of the trapped, Hellfire amulet for extra passive, Ambush, Ballistics and Archery for offence, Hot Pursuit and tactical advantage for Movement speed, and better to take stone of Jordan for extra discipline which you will be sacrificing some of for the infinite discipline rescource pool. Results are AMAZING. pls try this and share with Friends and community, bounties have never been this easy. PS. bonus its equally brain dead to play!

Great video as always! However, I find that some of these present different challenges when you play Diablo 3 on PS4 vs. the PC. I can put together everything you have listed here but my coordination to replicate what you're doing here with a PS4 controller seems to be lacking. I'm older (57) so perhaps that's the issue...coordination isn't what it used to be and I run out of resources anyway because mashing the buttons on PS4 is different from the keyboard. One of the reasons I like Diablo because you can still play it and enjoy it while most games out today are made for teens and 20 somethings in terms of coordination. For me, the most brain-dead easy setups are more like Monk Justice build or Barbarian Whirlwind...to do well you don't need so much coordination as you do the right equipment and knowing how to maximize what you can.
Perhaps that's another video opportunity for you...Diablo for old folks who need things to be fairly straight forward in terms of coordination. (laughing). I've been playing Diablo 3 since it came out and I've never made it to 150...it'd be nice to before I'm really too old!

I've been playing with In-geom as a main weapon, Karlei in cube (no dawn), with captain crimsons. You get 100% Vengeance uptime (if you have 55% cdr or more), In-geom has higher natural dmg than Karlei, and easier rolls so you can sanctify quiver and still have high chance of getting a decent weapon. I really like it... also lightning rune can richocket on same elite several times so i use that :)
It's so wild to watch this video because I did this exact, and I mean exact, same set of changes to my strafe multi shot build to speed it up. I will try it out with Impale.

Nice build! FoH sader with the crucible power is the chillest speed build I’ve ever played, you don’t even need to attack if you don’t use focus/restraint. Just hit pony on cooldown, and use iron skin/laws/akarat champion and it’s easy peasy.
Bro can I tell you I have a level 70 hardcore crusader that I actually fell asleep playing the game multiple times holding the trigger which had blessed hammer on it and apparently I had my other thumb on the joystick and somehow managed to actually maneuver through the game going in and out of sleep no it was all made possible because of two very particularly interesting legendary items one that made blessed Hammer 500% more effective and another that returned its mana value or whatever the f it's called when it hit three or less enemies.
Now I actually woke up many many times while doing a play through with this character, I had a few close calls but every time that controller vibrated when I was asleep and passed the f*** out I woke up and immediately used the potion and kept swinging hammers. I think I play it on torment difficulty now but I haven't touched that since I started playing Diablo 2 resurrected
And my second favorite is my demon Hunter who can infinitely use rapid arrow or whatever it's called I just need something to start it with and then it's just shoot shoot shoot till the day I die which he has yet to die either he's not hardcore though I wish he was

Slotted the obsidian ring took off dawn and have been playing with fortress ballista to keep up squirts; can also put furnace in but that’s overkill.

Switched my strafe impale to this build and after a couple of false starts this is great! I like that it has a built in way to tell when it's time to move up in GR level, when you can't keep your hatred up. Little tough to keep the hatred up in the echoing nightmares early though.
You can switch Bola to the 7 hatred option. Fire 2-3 times or so, strafe for a bit, repeat until they're hp starts rising. You could also have a friend carry you for the first few levels.

I am sure there are some ways to make a Macro that will spam the three skills for you so all you have to do is hold right mouse and enable the macro until the grift is done.
I'm sure there are, but seeing how a macro like that can easily get you banned, I wouldn't recommend it and you won't ever see streamers suggest it, advocate for it, or endorse it.
If what you need is a skill cast as soon as its cooldown is finished you don't even need a macro. The old numlock trick still works pretty fine.
@@billymays9296 I've been using the numlock trick for years with no issues. I don't think Blizzard is going to ban me or anyone for using something that it's implemented that way. I'm pretty sure Blizzard knows about it and never bothered to "fix" it if there is something to fix.

@@GreyGooseNWO What you do in the first place is assing a secondary key for a skill in your numpad. In my case all the skills I have in 1-4 had them asigned the numpad 1-4 too. If I want the skill 2 cast like if I were constantly pressing the 2 key I press the Numpad 2 and the Numlock key at the same time.
I normally do this with skills that have a long cooldown as with low cooldown skills can be pretty annoyng (it stops teleport as soon a skill is cast). In my case I normally play DH a lot so I use it mostly with Vengeance.
At first it was a bit annoying listening your character telling you it can't cast it because cooldown it's not finished but I got used to it.
If I remember right I learned this from Quin (some D3 "oldtimers" may remember him) but seems like he has been more dedicated to Path of Exile lately.

This build is good but it's a resource hog on lower levels and you must play higher level grifts or you'll quickly run out of discipline. Great build though, I'm at gr 111 with it so far without much hassle. This build is definitely for pushing and UE multishot spin for speed farming, although that build needs more speed.
just pick a passive that restores discipline/hatred when you pick up health globes (you always get them from elites) and you're good
Crusader got the moust dead brain build. You just stay on your horse that's it( 1 button),you can clean grs 100 in 6 minutes. On your DH" you roll your face on keyboard" to keep up the dmg and speed.

I know fire rune is more damage on single target, but sometimes you get 30 small shit mobs around the elite and it really makes it slower without any AoE, so I'll try to roll some nice quiver/bracers/neck with cold and try that, looks really good in comparison
yeah this is pissing me off too, when I join random groups sometimes there's no good trash killer so if its a little above my optimal speed level the trash renders me ineffective at hunting

Tho I'm not playing DH this season, it's pretty much the same build I've played in S21 or S22 (or both? I dont remember now) the only difference was bow/quill and instead of shadows set it was GoD, so hungering arrow was used. But all other pieces/cube were like that and oh boy the farming just went by itself :D
I'm not a DH player, never really knew how it works, but gave this build a shot and I can assure you 100% that it is fully brain=off

Being able to spam smoke screen like this is awesome even for going higher. Your follower ends up surrounded and your AoE nukes it all.
i found that you can also do this with multishot UE, using the strafe angel passive. obviously won't go into high GRs (100s), but nice to just chill with.

Impale is miles better for speed farming unless you're doing t16.
Your content rocks. You're nice, too (important). Here's a heterodox question (is it, though?). Sometimes I like to play the game totally chill and none of the fast stuff. What might be the best build for that kind of gameplay, provided this style of play prob'ly has limits relative the hardcore folk and certain levels of difficulty?

I usually remove green gem from weapon and legendary gems that give more damage power, it helps with hatred issues when doing lower content 😂
I Have 1 setup like this in HCMode, kills everything instantly in rift 16 with strafe. In normal mode, My strafe does no damage 200mil-500mil and i'm getting 1 shotted. I have all the gear required, 600+paragon, exact same skillset as shown in maxroll on BOTH characters,
Edit: the seasonal bonus was not the same on the quiver - found the prob.
Even better, run with the obsidian ring and elusive ring instead. Then you can keep l the guardian set, mantle of channeling, put a topaz in helm. And you can run whatever utility item you want in your armor slot in the cube. I like the krelms belt because it's a guaranteed speed buff in low density areas with no breakable objects. Speeding 110s with ease with this setup.
One of my favorite survivability methods for regular rift farming is gold wrap and boon of the hoarder - I get billions of toughness in the stat screen and can dedicate every other item slot to damage or speed increases
This is a great build, suits me very well since I always forget to press my generator anyway :P
Doing 114s in 2-2:30 at para 1450 (very good gear).
I like to think of the generators as how you think about "pumping" a shotgun before firing. So you know ||: pump pump shoot :|| depending on the need to replenish hatred.

Awesome edit of the build. I must be too low paragon to be effective I guess though. The build feels very squishy still the moment you run out of hatred. Running GR 100's but still die a lot. Paragon 656 though. Should I swap to guardian set instead of crimson? I see people running crimson at low paragon at least. And if yes, that leaves the pants slot open if you still cube the mantle of channeling.
Been having this EXACT same issue around the same para level. Even not running out of hatred, I'm just dying instantly to random trash and it's hella frustrating. Might try the same build with guardians myself.

OMG I thought I was doing something wrong, went from T10 to T16 and I was building no hatred, had to go to a GR85 to start generating hatred. He is not kidding when he says turn up the level especially if you are like I was, going from a very low level start build to this one.
I usually run the gas powered ser cause after you hit something with your normal you get a pretty big dmg and speed boost.
