After smashing through the wall in a tank, did he have a smooth quip?
"'Dis garage is. . . open for business."
Golden.
"Now that's what you call drive-through!" ;)
"Hey Trump, fuck your wall."
Get into da choppa!!!
@@gobanito How do you people manage to bring Trump and politics into literally everything? Good job giving him more PR.
Crush your enemies, see them driving the tanks, and hear the lamentation of the officers.
😆
If the coffee gets spilled...you made my day... I can say, you succeeded!
"What is best in life??" Lmao
You get a pat on the back, unfortunately you’ll have to preform this yourself, sorry.
Crom does not help.
The funny thing is he called up Austria about 10 years ago and talked them into taking that same tank out of storage and selling it to him
He's the king of "Give me military hardware plz thanks". DO you know how the Hummer became a thing? Arnie called up the US military and said "I would like that" and thus, they made a civilian version.
@@raptorjesus3894 I know he got the 2nd one off the assembly line
speaking of Austria, you know they recently unsealed his dad's records and guess what? he VOLUNTARILY joined the Nazi Party. smh
@@SRSOS "voluntary" as in "voluntary kamikaze pilot"?
I know life looks sweet from there in your mom's basement, but surely you don't believe that all Japanese kamikaze pilots in WWII performed that duty with guns to their heads? Some of them were downright fanatical about their devotion to the Emperor of Japan. No, Arnie's dad had a choice not to join the fascist party. But he did anyway.
My dad was a tank commander for the Greek army, mad respect to all tank crews around the world
"I had my fair share of accidents with the tank"
They let him drive it............ *AGAIN?* 😱
He bought it when he got the money after hitting it big in film XD
Were they going to turn him down look at him
@@DeltagodAndFriends The second time was when he ran over trees, another time he forgot there were people on top and he just drove making them fall off.
I dare ya to try and tell him no lol
My grandpa was a tank sergeant. I really miss hearing tank stories 😭😭😭
I’m curious now, how many accidents is “my fair share of accidents with the tank?” Hahaha!!! What a great story!
I bet after he got out of the tank and saw the damage he said......” I’ll be back”.
He, probably, said:"I won't be back".
my thought exactly! and they both missed the chance for a great pun in this interview
"some other time"
He even actually is an Austrian military trained tank driver. Exceptional
He actually OWNS the tank he drove in the military. He tracked it down and purchased it from the Austrian government. I think he loaned it out to some museum.
@@williamshaw9047 he is an amazing guy, with a one of a kind story.
Well, ‘exceptional’ in that he accidentally reversed his tank straight through a wall and crushed a lot of service pipes. And from what he was implying, it was far from being his only tank driver related accident
Grev A Hey man. Accidents happen. He learned.
@Johnson Adam do you literally go through here to belittle this man XD it must be sad not having anything
Arnold should make a movie from his life ! ;)
What's the name of the book?
bibbyshibby
thank you very much for answering me so quickly.
lol yeah bro i read that shit like 4 times already it's the best ever :D.
Florian Warrior Lee???, is that you??? EASILY The most magnificent and greatest body-builder to ever walk the earth.
I was literally thinking about this and was about to comment.
Seems he already was the Terminator back then. :D
Lol
Arnold maxed out his life...what more can a human due lol

Yeah man I don’t know anyone else who has had such a varied life as he. I feel if his life was a day, he would’ve used well 23 hours and 1 hour was just for a rest.
What about remain faithful to his wife --- and not bang the nanny without a rubber on his dick
He maxed his life out all right, even with multiple open heart surgeries.
"O scheisse..."
Rommel could have used a guy like Arnie,.....also the allies would be wondering how the F does Tiger....jump
He was damn lucky he didn't kill someone in that tank mishap. It might have totally changed his entire life and career.
He drove through a wall, there could've been people on the other side
I don't know dude,Bruce jenner seems to be doing okay
aaauugggghh we need to getauta heahhh - alternate reality arnold sitting in prison sentenced life with his prison buddies
It's pretty obviously dangerous to drive a tank through a building by accident. You people saying otherwise are idiots.
Yes you're right you pussy
Arnold: Please show me a fake smile.
Graham: 1:08
Arnold: You can do better!
Graham: 3:27
Ugh. Such a douche smile.
heh, nice
@@JohnSmiffer c'mon man leave him alone. I feel like he was really pressured to smile from his audience cause he wouldn't do it as often before and would cop shit for it. What's important is that he's genuine and how often you smile shouldn't be a measure for that.
David Oze I’m not upset at someone smiling, it’s just a fake smile. I would not buy a car from that smile.
@@JohnSmiffer you sound like the douche bro
The way he mimics being inside a tank, pulling levers and shit you will think "Damn, this guy is a pro!". And then he explains how he put the tank on reverse by accident and drove through a building. LOL
Thats Arnie. typical of him .
To be fair Postwar tanks of all nations had notoriously tricky gearboxes. Hell the centurion tended to have a mind of its own if not maintained diligently. And the IS-3 literally had an updated T-34/SU-100 gearbox which IDLES IN REVERSE FOR SOME REASON
Graham is a first class interviewer allowing his guests to talk freely instead of interrupting them constantly.
"one of usz issen deep drubble"
You forgot "Hello cutie pie."
"Come on. Don't bullshit me."
Hi, Cutie Pie .....
You mean:"One of us is in deep rubble!"?
I don't do requests
I always liked Arnold, but like him even more hearing him describe what tanks meant to him and how he can still remember going through the routine of starting and warming up a tank, minus the wreck.
Forget da tank. Get to da choppa.
LMAO.....good one
How does Wargaming fail at getting this man to promote WoT in the US? HOW?
Accusing Arnold for being a Nazi.
@@freelanceart1019 They did that?
Rui Pacheco because WOT sucks and war thunder is better
@@nicholassternon5857 both are terrible. But war thunder is so cancer it hurts
Jacob Roland It might be Cancer, but who tf puts health bars on Tanks? That straight up just hurts the brain.
I nvr knew Arnold was a tank driver... new things you learn everyday.
MAB He owns the m47 Patton that he served in during his required service. I don’t know if that is the tank from the story though.
I'm getting some ted bundy vibes from this Graham guy and his weird smiles.
They let kids play on tanks and gave them candies? Another world...
Well, a different time - and a different kind of conflict.
@@xShaade very true
I gave kids candy in Afghanistan. I didn't give a damn about "the times we live in ".
@@biscuitandtea as a kid from the 90s wars that's one of the few good things i remember...U.N soldiers giving us kids candies and always waving.Respect
Only as a way to make the population put their guard down so they could aacheive there military goals without resistance lol.
Honestly, i have seen anyone give an interview with Arnold this good. Great questions and also to see Graham just let him talk. You can see he researched his questions very well. I didn’t know about his obsession with tanks. Good stuff 👏🏼
LOL, this reminds me of when I first started driving 18-wheelers and "had my fair share of accidents" too.
Wow, awesome story. Just the fact that he drove a Tank. At 18.
Pretty normal for conscription armies though.
Yeah, I was a conscript in Sweden at 18. We got to drive some insane stuff 😅 I only drove a truck, but there were conscripts driving tanks, armored vehicles, you name it. Im amazed more stupid stuff didn't happen. The shooting range was 100x safer than the roads!
In a crew...the youngest/lowest rank is the driver.then the loader, then Gunner and finally the most experience is the tank commander
Love the man's honesty and integrity
Nice job Private Schwarzengger lol
Today I learned: Arnold Swarzenegger knows how to drive a tank IRL. That is awesome. (And that he is prone to accidentally running through buildings with it)
He has more stories, like when they would race them down the hill through the forest with guys riding on them. If you were still on the tank at the bottom of the hill, after going though all the trees and over all the rocks and stuff, you "won". Nobody ever won, and when they got caught, the officers would make him do reps. That's up through the top hatch, down out the escape hatch, and back up through the top hatch over and over. Then they would go racing again.
Did he punch through the fourth wall like in The Last Action Hero?
Well, there was definitely a wall.
It was just a movie, man. Settle down.
That interviewer always smiling is creepy as hell
this made my day hahahahahah SCHWARZENEGGER YOUR FANTASTIC!
There should be a movie about his early life.
Quality recent fun Arnold interview I love it.....these interviews are fun to watch.
First thing they told us about tanks was not to crawl under them to sleep, you felt protected and didn't have to do any digging and bonus was you were dry.Apparently at one point couple of Guys crawled under and the tank was on Soft land , yep you guessed it, never ever saw a soldier under one.I was standing on a tank road all of a sudden ground began to tremble , couple of Yahoo's probably inebriated came down road in this behemouth of a tank a Centurion full speed and abruptly turned left , said to myself that puppy's gonna bounce when it hits ditch, didn't even faze it , made a new ditch going other way.
This dude is a great storyteller One could sit for hours and listen to him speak about a variety of topics
i guess ventura was wrong, there was 3 vets in predator not 2
He meant as far as U.S. vets were concerned.
Not quite. Arnold never seen action, meaning he never went to war.
A Vet means you went to war...
My favorite anecdote from Arnold Schwarzenegger biography "Total Recall", was when he and his buddies were drag racing the tanks and then we're busted by the Commanders that's so typical of teenaged military members.😂
I heard that when Evis Presley was in the Army he and one of his platoon mates did the same thing. I think Elvis' tank won the race but am not sure since I saw that bit on an Evis bio at least 20 years ago on TV.
Arnold is just a legend. What a life he has lived. Moved from Austria to USA, Mr Olympia 7 times, biggest grossing movie star, married to American royalty, governor of the 5th largest economy in the world.
I didn't even know he was in the Austrian army!
Austria has compulsory military service. 6 months minimum once you turn 18. Both my nephews did it. I think it's a good thing, I wish we still had it in the UK. Teaches some valuable skills and discipline.
His father fought for Nazi germany as part of panzer group 4.
@@paulmccloud9395 now we have 6 mounth, before we had 9 and 12 mounth. So Arnie had more than 6 mounth ;)
@@seantheguy1391 almost every german/austrian man had to fight for the wehrmacht. if someone refused to do so, he got killed because of "wehrkraftzersetzung".
ML8593wy precisely
I saw an m1 Abrams roll off a big hill in Hohenfels Germany. The driver forgot to set the parking brake and got out. It smashed over trees trucks were moving, Soldiers were running. It finally rolled down in the valley and stopped.
"And then I had my own tank." WOW!

So fun to listen to Arnold's stories
Ive noticed that he's popping up lately in the media, it's amazing how short our memory's are, give it time Arnold and you can make a comeback.
4:04 Priceless
The British had bases in Austria and still had military bases in Germany until the mid 1990's. I visited a recently decommissioned British base near Koblentz in about 1997, thousands of spent bullet casing around the place & old military hardware rusting away.
shellsbignumber2 The British army is still based in Germany, but there are plans that they will leave until 2020.
So basically - he went back
tanks for this story!
What about da choppa?? How did he get to da choppa? Jk great interview
+Mark Richardson Nah I think YOU failed, and don't try again
+Mark Richardson 🐖💨💦
+Mark Richardson
😗🌰🐿
Mark Richardson are you ok bro?
+Bizzy jones lol I think he's stuck like an old record player
M-47 & it can be seen in the Columbus, Ohio area. He bought it over to the USA from Austria 20 years past.
So freaking loveable and a real role model
I read the comments in Arnold's voice 😂😂😂
"Looking srough de binoaculars" That's the one that got me hahaha. Man, that's what I call an accident.
I bet, Arnold has much funny stories to tell and seems truly to enjoy life at every decade and moment 😂
I love that story! So funny
jumping back and "olles" :D
Friggin love Arnold
Amazing.
i got out of the tank and just went oh shieza
My dad's also from Austria and did his national service, around seven years before Arnie.
I drobe a track vehicle at 18-19 years old... i was a medic and drove the medical tracks in the cavalry... it was awesome... i didnt know Arnold drove tracks!!!
I was really down in the dumps today after making a mistake at a temp job I thought I was doing well at, a massive mistake.
My mom told me this story to make me feel a bit better but I thought she bullshitting me.
Seeing this is true, it makes me feel better.
"He almost died"
Great story!
Tanks for da memories
"One of us is in deep trouble"
1:46 that slight pause, lol, we all make mistakes
Omg, he started screaming :D :D
Arnie the tank driver.... Hasta la vista baby!
Arnold is such a great storyteller!
Holy shit!! That is a fantastic story! .. I think I almost died and had a heart attack from all the laughter?!?! 😂😂🤣🤣🙈
Mr. Schwarzenegger, don't lose your sense humor. Fantastic video!
Now that is what I call a "shell shock" story.
he is the most interesting man in the world
1 big love❤👏👏
Maria my massive heart is breaking
That is amazing
I admired tanks so much that I decided to become one...
I'd love to hear more about his military service
Sad that it's overshadowed by his bodybuilding days and action roles
Man, what a fantastic interviewer.
I haven't really seen any of his videos but to see an interviewer knowing when to speak and letting the interviewee speak all the time.
Rarity these days.
This reminds me of the time I got into an accident and got it and saw the car was totaled and thought the same thing. I was in big trouble.
His childhood made him the perfect actor for his parts
As my 1987 German Army Sergeant would have said "Gefreiter Schwarzenegger, da faellt mir doch ein Ei aus der Hose!" Translation: "Private Schwarzenegger, I'm gonna lose a testicle!"
This is why we love Arnie
You a funny guy Sully.
Good Commandos
I lied!
If you had just shown me the pic of Arnie leaning against the tank and he wasn´t smiling in it, I probably would have guessed "your Granddad" much more likely than Arnie. But the typical Arnie smile makes you go: Oh yeah - it´s him alright! :D
Was Arnold stationed in Thal, Austria?
Am an novice historian and recall that the military presence story was disputed when he first spoke about it punting for his political candidate in the early 2000. And that there was probably no Russian presence after WWII. Just that Austria was struggling to recover after the war.
"That guy has been in the ZONE for four decades!"
God it’s fucking awesome just when he says tank
I am Hercules. I don’t need any money 💰
He's just great
That’s so fitting that when Schwarzenegger served he drove a tank through a wall, I wasn’t surprised at all
"I had my fair share of accidents with the tank" - he said it like "who doesn't had an accident or 2 with the tank, c'mon"
Are all interviews done in Hong Kong this good?
That's a good story lol
I can't imagine anyone less suited to fitting into a tank.
It was a US produced M-47 tank. American tanks are know for their room.
My grandfather was a tanker in USSR stationed across from Austria in Hungary, he was like 5ft tall lmao, anyone taller than 5'5 was not allowed to be a tanker in Soviet Union, and it was mostly Asians manning tanks actually
they need to make this into a movie...
After studying tanks Arnold then became one!
Arnold accent: Tank you very much, may I have another?
Got a thing for tanks haha
He is a Fukin Tank 👊🏿.
This guy was and still is my childhood idle learnt a lot from this Tank thanks bro 👊🏿.
