- Actor Arnold Schwarzenegger and his mother Aurelia Jadrny guest stars on a episode of Superstars & Their Moms (1987). In the episode Aurelia gives her opinion on Arnold films The Terminator, Conan the Barbarian, and Red Heat. Also, includes footage of Aurelia and Arnold watch the film Red Heat and Aurelia opening a champagne bottle in which Arnold couldn't open.

For anyone who didn’t know, his dad wanted Arnold to become an Austrian cop like him and never leave Austria. His mom wanted him to be whatever he wanted to be and follow his dreams. She was his greatest supporter and Arnold followed his dreams because of her. Love them both. I’m a huge Arnold fan. I even got a terminator tattoo of him.

Thanks I did not know. Love Arnold's film I grew up in the 80's and his love for his mum shows how much a great person he is.

The accomplishments in life does not have to benefit every single living on the planet. It can be small as to being humble and not being an uneducated piece of twat like you.

Never seen this side of Arnold before. He really was fearless, even showing his most sensitive side.

I ha e lived in Austria before and have 2 kids there. They translate thei whole world into German and never hear another language and if you do speak another language they ask why not German. Extremely insular and conservative. No wonder Arnold left.

Arnold's mom is so sweet and she just in admiration of all that her son has done and he accomplished alot in his younger years. His mom watching Red Heat and commenting on the scenes. His mom opening the bottle of champagne. Funny & cute when Arnold is trying to explain to his mother the things and scenes from his various movies.
When Arnold's Mother died, I have the very realization about life as him.. Like questioning "What is the meaning of life?".. and it felt that I have nothing more to do when my mother died.. like "What now?"... and every good thing seems meaningless and hollow. And yes still looking for my mother's approval even in her twilight years..

glad they posted this video...she's gone now, of course. the only public record is this, and the recount in Arnold's book 'Arnold'. She used to clean his shoes up until he was 15. Fed him etc. She died of a heart valve failure.
Arnold is seen here right after the shooting of the movie Predator. I heard that he lost 12 kg in just one month while filming in the tropical forests of South America. That's why if you notice here, he has lost a lot of weight. His face has almost dried up. I am grateful to him for the beautiful characters and films he gifted us.
