Arnold is a true legend. When I was younger I got into working out/weight training. I bought his bodybuilding book at a garage sale for 75 cents. Best money I ever spent. Helped me so much. Went from 260lb with belly to 205lbs with a 6 pack in 6 months while working 65/hrs work week. Ate whatever I wanted too. I was kinda surprised when I read the part about him and Franco smoking weed before workouts to open up the blood flow I thier lungs. Well, I followed the book and bought a bag lol, worked great!
2 years ago I was working out at Gold's gym in Santa Monica on a Sunday and Arnold was there. I walk about 3 feet in front of him after my workout was done. I didn't go up to meet him because he had a couple other guys behind him. Now this guy was my idol growing up but I didn't want to be a pest at age 58 but if you want to find him he is at Gold's alot from what I hear.
arnold, my dad was identical to yours. absolutely identical. everything was negative from my father and still is to this day. we must have great success, and rub it in their faces
Not that there's any real problem in understanding him, but I'm always a little surprised that his accent is still so strong. You would think that after living in the States for so long, and considering the fact that he never moved back to Austria, that he would have eventually picked up a more American dialect. I wonder if at any point he made a conscious decision to NOT lose the accent, considering it as an integral part of his "brand."
Great Interview Graham... you did a lot of research and made it very entertaining how each question lead to painting a story of his life. And Arnold is a special person and a loved his Nixon impersonation.
"He grew up poor." Which attributed to his "desire and hunger to be successful". "My father contributed to my hunger." "My father attributed to my hunger to leave Austria." "My Father inspired me to join the Army, I became a tank driver." What I find fascinating is, with the exception of the Gubernatorial campaign to be elected as the Governor of the State of California, in interviews in regards to hid Father, Arnold never mentions, nor does the interviewer ever ask about, is that his Father, Gustav Schwarzenegger (17 August 1907 - 13 December 1972), was a member of The Sturmabteilung, the SA, joining the SA in 1939, after the Anschluss in 1938. His Father was literally a member of the "Storm Division", a Storm Trooper which was the ORIGINAL Paramilitary Wing of the Nazi Party. Why is that? During World War II, Gustav Schwarzenegger served as a military policeman in the invasions of Poland, France and the Soviet Union, including the siege of Leningrad. I am in no way suggesting or saying either Arnold Schwarzenegger or his Father Gustav Schwarzenegger, are bad or questionable people. I do not know and have never met either of them so can't speak intelligently or judge the substance of their individual character. I'm curious about the subject being avoided because he talks so much about the way he was raised, surely it's connected to the way he was raised. ~ APRIL LIPKE
Who cares? His fathers crimes are not Arnold's and thinking like that is frankly disgusting. And is not far from the shit nazi's spewed in the very first place.
I might be Arnold’s biggest fan and I wanted to express my appreciation for conducting such an in-depth interview where we can really hear facts and details we’ve never heard before…. Where Arnold is really given adequate time to tell his remarkable story. Im very inspired every time I watch this.

Massive inspiration to my own life and all his films helped me throughout growing up.
She is still lighting up the Heavens with her brilliance and beauty! Her music is timeless!❤️
There are few men who you want to be immortal, Arnold is one of them!
Very good and informative interview. Thanks!
What a journey! This is living life to it's fullest. Arnie's so timeless, when he spoke about Nixon it sounded crazy, then you remember he's 75yrs old! 🤣 He managed to describe a whole lifetime, without expressing any obligatory sadness or excuses for one thing or another. Naturelly positive, more like him please! 👏
And still looks phenomenal, with CGI and stuntmen, de-aging he can do movies for the next 15-20 years. I'd pay for it.
Why do they call him boy George ? Why not girl George and avoid all the confusion
@@conorsmith8551 🤣😩 harsh but fair lol
Could listen to him the whole day! So, so inspirational!
Arnold is nothing less than a legend! His book Total Recall was excellent.
Inspiring man and very charismatic. Could listen to him speak for hours.
Arnold.... I'm nothing but impressed.... down to earth, just normal. Love it.
That tank story had me in stitches 🤣
But mind you tough father's give birth to tough men. Better than the current jackass generation!
Looks 45 years old the guy is a living legend!!
45 ? Come on...
God bless the interviewer.
I think accents are usually set by your mid teens
1% of the 1% truly inspirational, goes to show what self belief can do, along with every other gift Arnold has and still a humble man.
He's a great example of working hard and you will get there. And then some.. no excuses.
The more organic you are your greater chance to shine.👍
Wow Arnold really has been a good dude up and downs he still prevails loved this show
What a legend.
COME ON! ARNOLD.. I AM AN A ITALIAN 63 Y YOUNG! IT WAS ANOTHER GENERATION OF OUR FATHERS! ...WE WENT THROUGH THE SAME SHIT! GLAD WE LIVED IT!
Great Interview Graham... you did a lot of research and made it very entertaining how each question lead to painting a story of his life. And Arnold is a special person and a loved his Nixon impersonation.
"He grew up poor." Which attributed to his "desire and hunger to be successful". "My father contributed to my hunger." "My father attributed to my hunger to leave Austria." "My Father inspired me to join the Army, I became a tank driver."
What I find fascinating is, with the exception of the Gubernatorial campaign to be elected as the Governor of the State of California, in interviews in regards to hid Father, Arnold never mentions, nor does the interviewer ever ask about, is that his Father, Gustav Schwarzenegger (17 August 1907 - 13 December 1972), was a member of The Sturmabteilung, the SA, joining the SA in 1939, after the Anschluss in 1938.

Настоящая легенда, человек сделавший самого себя.
I don’t even know much about Arnold Schwarzenegger, but he is so charming in this interview and very well dressed guy
Such meaningful words! I too belive change is possible! Thank you, Arnold! You are deeply inspiring!
What wonderful story.
America loves you Arnold❤❤❤❤❤
I wish I could give Arnold 30 years of his life back, so, he can enjoy further all the hard work he’s put in.
I am a shaman, I can take 30years off your life and give it to Arnold, I can do this remotely if you just mail me a lock of your hair, do you agree ?

He also wasted about 15 years on a marriage that didn't last and ended in a bitter divorce. Like everyone who ends up divorced after long marriages I bet he wishes he could get those years back. At least his has kids from it.
