Dear Paul, this is one of the most beautiful watercolors you have created! What I really appreciated was the little passage about mixing colors at the beginning. It's much more interesting than using ready-made colors. I hope you make this kind of video again. THANKS.
So rich and vibrant. You can just step into the scene. A most valuable tutorial on colour mixing. So quickly and effectively rendered. Many thanks Paul.
Ahhh I needed the color mixing lesson, especially for those greens & black! Gorgeous painting of the farmhouse! I definitely am appreciating the use of a limited palette 🎨 these days & why it’s so important. Thanks for sharing this fun video & I adore those 😂bloody leaves 🍃 🍂🍁! Enjoy your day!
Simplicity at its finest with the limited palette 🎨 ! I can feel the crisp autumn 🍂 breeze! Refreshing! My favorite time of year, which is when I was born. Thanks Mr. Clark and have a superfine day.😊 cheers 🍻.
Paul, as a watercolorist myself, watching you paint with your "bounce around" method of applying paint is an inspiration and fun to watch. You use techniques I've forgotten over the years. Thanks for your peppy attitude,
Watching you painting is absolutely mesmerizing! I love the fluidity of your brush strokes and how the colours mix and blend on the paper creating wonderful effects and giving ‘life’ to your landscapes. I could really spend hours on your channel! 😂 Great painting, once again! Thanks for the brief colour-mixing lesson, too.
To save superlatives I will say I agree totally with the comments below. An excellent video which I will repeatedly watch for ages. Thanks Paul for your efforts theyre really appreciated.👋👋👋👍
Hi Paul, Oh how I love watercolor Wednesdays ! I’m up at the crack of dawn ready to rock and roll ! I’ve been having shoulder/neck issue and it’s forced me to slow it down and sit out on the last few tutos , it’s been very frustrating and depressing when you can’t do what you love ! I’ve nursed it these past few weeks and hopefully I can paint this today ! It’s such a beautiful painting ,as always ! Thank you for all you do , you’ve brought me a long ways this year !!! Blessings to Margot as well !
Gretchen I hear you! I’ve got those same issues and am too often forced to back up and rest, 😠. I agree with you wholeheartedly, but at this stage of life the body gets what the body wants, or I suffer the consequences 😂. Happy painting. Blessings to you!
@@rmuller366 haha you’re funny, it’s true the body gets what the body wants and I’ve learned my lesson the hard way by pushing it ! Now I have to pace myself ! Bless you for hanging in there and not giving up ! Take care of yourself !!
My granny’s farmhouse looked very much like this one and it was in Henry County, Georgia, USA. So, many thanks for this lovely nostalgic trip back in time. Fabulous, as always. Liz
Hi Paul. You’re just great! I love your whimsical personality and your easy teaching style. You always seem to be one step ahead in anticipating and answering the would-be questions that come to mind. Your lessons, such as the color mixing demo here, are clear, concise, and sooooo informative. Your paintings always draw me in and the settings warm my heart. Spending time on your channel brings pure joy! Thank you!
(Caught this one on #replay from Ohio, USA). A fabulous tutorial, Paul! Thank you! So much usable information! You are a God-send & a delight! Now... better rake up all those leaves.
Love your Wednesdays and most all of your subjects. Thanks for the lesson in colors mixing, invaluable. Is it me, I can’t quite picture the lavender wall and find it off putting 😮 but not a deal breaker for me loving the Sussex cottage. And your falling leaves, not too much, never, love ❤
Wow! I could use the first 4 minutes of this video as a stand-alone lesson in color mixing. The painting itself is an added extra. Great video! Thanks for sharing. 😀
I love watercolor Wednesdays! Your work is truly inspiring. I’ve painted several of yours and this one is a must! I also love the pastel pencils for that final detail. Not cheating at all, just smart! 😊
Hey Paul. Thank you for this lovely Painting, I enjoyed it so much I have watched it several times. I agree with you about the Water colour Purists who object to Pastels being a part of a Water colour Painting. They go Hand in Hand....Thank you for sharing...Loved it.
I'm going into Yellowstone National Park today with my hubby. The fall colors are putting on a beautiful show. I hope to capture some of the amazing wildlife and scenery and come back and 🎨 paint. ❤love this one Paul.
Very grateful that you tried HWC, and you still showed us splendid work. I tried some W&N watercolours but not quite experienced with them yet. And also ship cost is slightly expensive for our country.
Hi Paul, thoroughly enjoyed your painting of the Suffolk house…seeing it take shape into a sweet little watercolor. You make it look so easy. I love the colors.
Gosh Paul it looks sooo real.. It took me in a Jane Austen realm. Felt I could just saunter in the meadows. And into the house. Your trees are ever so brilliant. Love the fairy vein like branches. Wow. What an effect that gave. Everything is so marvelously perfect. 👌👌👌...and thank-you so very much for the short color mixing tutorial. I struggle with my browns. 🤦. They get too much red tones. Loved this cottage tutorial. Keep them coming. Thank-you again for the lovely tutorials. 💖💖💖🙏
I have the same palette when it gets stained I use an ordinary school eraser to clean it up but thats just fussy me. Teaching so well and remain entertaining is a rare gìft😊
So impressed by the minimal colors you used to create this beautiful aquarelle. French being my first language, words are missing to express how much I love watching you do all those fantastic watercolors. Thanks for sharing with us your tips and tricks.
Good morning!!! 🍁🍂🍃🍁🍂lol your joyful video is much needed in these uncertain times. Thank you for your trustworthy posting. May God bless you today and always! ❤🙏🏻 Now I will watch the video instead of posting comments. Lol 🖼️🖌️🎨
