Paul, the problem with your videos is the fact that I’ve been watching you more often than not and spending less time painting. 😄 Seriously, they’re done so well and I like the way you work a bit of humor into them. Keep them coming. I love them all and I’ve picked up a few tips along the way. 👏
Awesome, thank you Tony!
It's had the opposite effect on me, encouraging me to do more watercolour painting. I'm beginning to think I like it better than the oil painting I've been doing in the last few years. I'm certainly enjoying the freedom of finally being able to "loosen up", which I just can't seem to do in oils.
Yess, I do the same :) Wonderful to look at this amazing work. Thank you very much, Paul !!!
Thanks for putting these online for free. Faith in humanity! Some of us really need art right now and can’t always swing classes.
Happy to help!
Hi paul love both paintings they come alive before your eyes .
Cheers John!
Today was double pleasure to see you working Paul!
Thanks so much!
Simply, one word: wonderful!. Nicky... Belgium.
Thanks Nicky from Belgium!
How much I enjoy your demos is beyond comment. Please continue as you always do.
Thanks, will do John!
Hope this is accessible along with my television tutorials. Enjoy this. From Midwest USA. Very enjoyable! Thank you sir.
I happened to come across your UA-cam tutorial.
I am very impressed with the excellent contents.
As I live in Japan I can not attend your art classes, I immediately bought your book and have been studying watercolour by watching your UA-cam.
Thank you very much for your wonderful tutorials.
Thank you very much! ... and glad you have joined us!
Absolutely fabulous Paul! I love how your paintings always stand out at the end, such a good lesson in watercolour build up of colour! Thank you, going to definitely have a go!! You're inspiring 😊
Doppiamente grazie Paul per queste due pietre preziose !
Grazie Gemma!
Thank you, you're a master and I love to watch your work.
That's nice - many thanks!
Thank you Paul. 2 great tutorials - certainly lucky this week - each with a different result.
Glad you like them!

Thank you kindly
As usual, another gorgeous painting from a great teacher. Thank you.

Thanks Paul. Really enjoyed these tutorials and also, I love seeing the beautiful surroundings in your vlog. Music was a perfect accompaniment.
Glad you enjoyed it
Magic thank you

Wow you gave us 2 tutorials this week...and they were extremely informative and enjoyable to watch
Your videos are always so bright and cheerful, and you make them sooooo easy to follow...Plus the little comedic clips of yourself that are included, along with phots and details of your days out...what a lot of work and thought you put into your videos, and they are always fun and totally enjoyable.
THANK YOU PAUL !!!!!

Thank you so much 😀
Blimey, these are both right up my street, terrific as ever.... Itching to get on with them... I'll update!
Great to hear!
Love them both but the door especially!
Cheers Monique!
You are quite fearless when painting, a pleasure to watch
the paints are sooo much better than the reference photos, they give feeling of sunshine and clean air. never, ever, even thought about doing sketch , ink, then add paint!! wow, epic moment for me!
Thanks Jan!
The white gouache & pastels at the end put the most excellent finishing touches… sooo good. The windows in both … beautiful. Thank you for a great lesson.
Thank you so much!
mi piace il modo che hai di esprimerti la tua simpatia e la tua tecnica
Grazie mille
Thank you so much for taking the time to share your skills. You are a wonderful teacher, and I appreciate these videos immensely
My pleasure!
I love the way you paint stone. Both paintings were beautiful, the line and wash is always my favorite. Of course intermission was the best. Thanks for making those videos, 4 hours just in the painting part then all the video work and your intermission that was super funny. That's a lot of work, it's much appreciated.
Thank you! Cheers! - always appreciated Vicki!
My jaw just drops every time I watch one of your tutorials. Unbelievably good. I feel like I’m overdue putting my money where my mouth is, so here you are…
I wonder if I you’d consider doing a video on ‘planning’ a painting. I’m always very interested to see the order that you do things in… which clearly isn’t accidental!
Very kind Rob - many thanks!
I look forward to your tutorials so much. Thank you for sharing your talent with us.
Glad you like them!
I love their tireless diligence and have already learned so much. Thank you and keep your great sense of humor. 🌹😉👍
Thank you kindly
Thank you Paul, I just love watching you paint - and the music, so mesmerizing, I'm almost asleep.
Thank you so much 😀
Firstly, thank you once again for sharing your talents. Your instruction has me enjoying watercolor art; which in turn has improved the quality of my life (I’m 70).
Secondly, you and I also share a love of England's sweetheart, the Spitfire. Since a young boy I have the passion for building simple balsa and tissue model aircraft. The Spitfire has always been my favorite. I did get to own it’s little cousin back in the 70’s, the four wheeled version. Bright red and a white soft top. As the advertising said you never forget your first Spitfire.
Thanks David ... yes I do love the dear old Spitfire (car as well!) ... but we must not forget the underrated Hurricane!
I'm amazed at the texture you produced for the stones - I'm going to give this one a try. Thanks for an inspiring tutorial.
he has a seperate video on stones and walls. you might want to check out.
My pleasure 😊
Two lovely tutorials, thanks Paul.
My pleasure!
Once again an inspiration like NO other. Thank you from the bottom of not only my heart but indeed my soul ❤️
Wow, thank you - delighted to help Stefne.
I believe you have a very keen eye Mr. Clark to paint those lovely scenes and places with such great detail. I will have to wear my glasses if I have to paint those outdoor scenes. Lol.Thanks so much for these two lovely paintings. Such a great lesson! The paintings are look realistic in so much detail.
Many thanks!
Lovely Paul each of your door paintings have a certain uniqueness. The blue door was also amazing!
Thanks Seema!
Beautiful setting! Lovely paintings! Must be Wednesday with Paul. Thank you!
Thank you too!
Thanks for the two tutorials. Very informative. I noticed the new spelling of priory on your T-shirt. LOL
😁 I could never spell!
Marvellous painting
Cheers!
I look forward to Water colour Wednesdays! I love how you make something so complicated look so simple. I never would have thought the second one would only take an hour! Very keen to try the door one. I am working my way through your book, learning so much and having so much fun. Thank you for all you do!
You are so welcome!
Thanks a lot, I'm just starting my advanture with watercolor and your tutorials are very helpful.
Happy to help!
I’ll give it to go for sure, thank you 🙏
Greetings from France 🇫🇷
Merci! Audrey - 🇫🇷
Loved both paintings! The rustic colors in the stone walls are gentle to the eye & then the bright color of the purple flowers in the second painting gives a pop that wakes up the senses! Thank you for two inspirational videos!
Thank you! Cheers!
Hi Paul,
I am always amazed to see how from a wetty wet start your painting takes on a beautiful shape. Thank-you so much for all the lovely techniques you show us. They have helped me in my paintings. On a much smaller scale, but have made them look real. 💖..love watching your tutorials. They are so very helpful. 💖.. will send you a few of my attempts that I did keeping your techniques in mind. Till later. 💖

My pleasure Donna!
I love watching your paintings build from the initial washes. I have learned so much from watching your excellent tutorials. Thank you.
Andy
Thanks so much Andy 😊
Your work is just lovely, your tutorials generous. I love the harmony achieved with a limited palette and so much repetition with the baseline mixing. I am going to try both of these! And watch the shadow tutorial. Thanks Paul! 🇨🇦
Thank you so much Glenda!!
Wow!!!! Fantastic !!! ❤ Thank you Paul for these wonderful paintings ! 😀
Thank you so much 😀

Just bought your book. It should be required reading for everyone getting into watercolor. You explained everything so well and just made stuff really easy to understand. Thank you!
Thank you so much! - glad you enjoyed it!
Thank you for your generosity in sharing your knowledge with us.
Obrigado pela generosidade de dividir conhecimento conosco.
My pleasure
Your videos make me so happy! Thank you dear Paul!
Happy to hear that!
I am so grateful for these tutorials! I feel like I get the best lessons. I love giving them a try. I do feel that I improve a modicum with each one. Thank you!
In India, we celebrate Teacher's Day on 5th September. I take this opportunity to wish you and thank you and all the team.
It seems so easy to see how to paint a scene as a composite when I follow your tutorial but otherwise still paint object by object which makes the painting look laboured.
Thank you! You too! and honoured to be included on Teacher's Day!
Double feature - love it! Thank you for sharing your talent and knowledge. Always enjoy your videos. I learn something every time.
Awesome, thank you!
Wow! That’s pretty awesome and the details are so awesome too!🥰
God bless.🙏🏻😊
Thank you so much 🤗
Great video as usual. Was lucky to join you on this day and it was brilliant! Only wish my painting looked half as good as yours! Would encourage anyone who is able to join Paul for a day or even attend his classes. Am learning loads.
Good to hear from you Diane - it sure was a good day out!

Such beautiful paintings.
I am struggling to paint anything since last two months and this makes me soo sad. I wish I can just start painting again .. I have painted few of your tutorials and learnt more than I can ever express in words
thank you again and it will never be enough 🙂
You can do it - try and be positive and don't put pressure on yourself to paint a masterpiece - many of mine go wrong too!
Tutorial inspirational as always, your on my bucket list to paint with , and a UK trip. Cheers from Mississippi 😊🎨
Be great to see you - many thanks!
They are absolutely wonderful Paul
So kind Wendy!
Thank you so much Paul! I watched your beautiful video's and painted them. I love doors and stone buildings. One of my daughters took the door painting and my other daughter will hopefully want the second painting and if not, well it will go on my wall.
Wonderful - sounds great Sandy!
Another great tutorial. Oh two great tutorials. Both are beautiful and look like they would be fun to do. Will definitely have to give these a go...

Always look forward to Wednesday watercolor!!! This one was awesome to watch two and the music the first had me so 😌 relaxed! I like how you added the pastel pencils ... making each one unique! Love the students sharing too! Til next time, a California Gramma ❤️
Glad you enjoyed it! - glad you liked the music too Ann!
I painted an old door a few months ago using some of your previous techniques but this reminded me if some more. I really wanted to practice loose line and wash so this will be perfect for me. I will be off work for 4 weeks so planning to do lots of paintings while I recuperate x
Cheers Rosie - best of luck with your recuperating! x
Fantastic Paul, as usual great tutorial! 👏
Cheers!
Thank you for the "two for one"! Beautiful studies and so helpful!! I love the texture the salt created in the first painting! Random, but brings out the stone! As always, thank you for your time, talent and teaching! So many things your experience, on the smallest of details, teach so much!! :0)
You are so welcome!
OMG
That was awesome
Wish I could draw and paint so well
