Oh I wish I could paint like you I am 66 yrs old and have decided to draw and paint agsin haven't since 14 yrs old in high school not grest I wish I could learn to pain and draw like you buy I cannot afford it so I am trying to learn again but better u are one of my favorite watercolor Master painters the other is ann kerr she's another take your breathe away like you paintings ugh love your teaching you care for people to learn the best thank you
Thank you so much Paul for all your free tutorials coz so many people are not able to take any classes for so many reasons. Your tutorials are great and anyone can learn so much from them.
It's almost... painful... a very lovely sort of emotion that grabs the heart! These moments you provide with a brush, when light hits the subject & glistens and shadows delineate so exquisitely, drawing one right into the place! For me, life just got hard for a few years, but these tutorials are my happy place, sincerely a healing place. Thank you so very kindly for your willingness to share your gifts!
My dear teacher, I am fascinated by this work of yours. All these plants, flowers, atmosphere, as if they were real. It's like a photo. I liked it very much. Health to your hands. Thank you very much for sharing. We're so lucky you've shared your videos. I wish you a long life. 🙏🌺
Hi Paul, thanks for the great demonstration. I love the door and the shadows(!) around it, love the little tree on left ( palm tree?) Love the video, what a pleasant journey and such a harmonized hotel it appears under your brush.
Enjoyable place, enjoyable tutorial. Did u ever thought that u're blessed not only with your talent but with a possibility to visit such gorgeous places like that. I' m fascinated and mesmerised by both: the place and the work, both are the pieces of art.
The second you put color to paper, Paul I knew this was gonna be fabulous. I watched every second of it, and the music made me feel like I was back in the islands and then when you were talking about using the color for shadows, I agreed with you 1000% and very last you touched it up with goush and I was in heaven nice piece
My uncle is always watching all your videos on the TV in their house while I'm working on the side for my aunt. He's a fan of yours, now I am too.., Really love all your work. Also, hope you can great him on your nxt video. Hihihi! RONALD CRISTOBAL from the PHILIPPINES. THANK YOU!!
Good eye catching that area, it was beautiful. Palms looked so good as did the whole painting. Your blessed both talent and being able to travel to beautiful places to paint and share. Just a note Paul, I also take a break and have a glass of beer. It's a rewarding thing I think !! Again thank you for your time and teaching, priceless
Hi, Paul. Did you notice the man in bed in the trees left of picture around 16:40 ? His head actually survived to the end! Thank you for this lovely painting, the clear commentary and the colour mixes on screen. There's always some sort of magic in the air when watching a painting come to life on the screen in this way. I think that a lot of ArtTubers feel that making this sort of video doesn't attract audiences any more, but I think that your channel gives the lie to that! I've been twice to Lanzarote, years ago, once when a relative beginner to painting and sketching en plein air, the other, a few years later, and this painting, plus your La Gomera clips, brought back peaceful and happy memories of going solo with kit and picnic while my husband dived. Have you been to Lanzarote and visited the Cesar Manrique house and garden? It was breathtakingly absorbing and amazing when I visited, and was the highlight of that first trip. The island had changed a lot between those two visits, though. How did your northern hemisphere students cope with the fast drying times (or did last summer's heat waves prepare them?)? They all looked deeply immersed in their paintings in your clips. ... 😄 Thanks again, Paul.
@@ArtbyPaulClark Awww ... Draw an imaginary line straight across from the top left angle of the door and you'll find the top half of his head. You should them be able to see the rest of him and the bedding which is just above and left of the thick tree trunk. 😄
I have discovered you months ago and i am impressed of how many tutorials you have and how beautiful they are! I live in the canary islands and this tutorial touched my soul! Thank you very very much for your work.
