Thank you Paul for your Beautiful painting video and the PowderMills Hotel grounds. Looks like a wonderful place. The student artists look focused and happy.
I'm drawing with You for a year. Your channel is one of my favorites. I noticed a yellow and blue Ukrainian flag behind You. Well. Now Your channel has become just the best of my favorites. You are beautiful not only as an artist, teacher, but also as a person!
I cannot decide which of your styles here I like more! I guess I have to settle with this...they both have such unique beauty and character that I just love them both for different reasons. Thank you, sir!
Absolutely Beautiful. I had seen so many pictures of Houses with blooming Wisteria and wished I could try them out. And A big salute to your sincerity dedication in recording a tutorial inspite of illhealth. Hats off to you. 🙏
Beautiful. Love watching for the painting lessons, but your Sense of humor definitely adds an added enjoyment. “Frisbee God”. 👍🏼 And I will be quoting you, “We’re after character, not precision”. Brilliant. Many thanks Paul.
You are such a great teacher. Your forethought and anticipation of challenges for artists are so clearly there. With humour and positivity you inspire me to have the confidence to try. I also now must have a Pimms. Thank you!
I really enjoyed today's Watercolor wisteria Wednesday!. Such lovely paintings, as always. Thank you, Paul and Margot, for so generously sharing your time and takents!
Thanks greatly Paul for your inspirational video of different ways of creating an excellent painting, I liked the loose effect of the first and second the tight version giving more detail depth and colours but both very well presented and explained. Thanks appreciated stay safe and healthy.
Wednesday is my favorite day because a new tutorial is released! I love both! I laughed out loud at the comment “I don’t know which god this statute is, but he’s the god of frisbee throwing”🤣. I love your painting and your sense of humor
Thanks again Paul for another great video today. I’m forever grateful for your assistance in making painting seem possible. Can’t wait to splash about!
I haven't put brush to paper for a while now but having found myself housebound I thought I might give it another go. Looking for inspiration I found your watercolour tutorials and I find I rea,ly do want to give painting another go. Thanks Paul.
Thank you very much for these amazing tutorials! As I'm a self-taught, your advice and hints are very appreciated! And you use very beautiful music which makes very nice and inspiring atmosphere in your tutorials. Thank you for everything.
Hey Paul, Watercolor Wednesday is my addiction.. which help me tackle the whole week. This painting is mesmerising , your voice, choice of music, editing n teaching style.. just awesome. Thank you again.. I know , I almost commented on every tutorial. And you deserve to get our love and respect. You made my life beautiful.. thank you thank you again 🙏
Hi Paul: Your first video of real life outdoor beauty was gorgeous! I don’t always have time to paint, but I watch your videos until the end. Love both techniques. You’re so generous with your time to teach. Thank you so much. 💜😎🇺🇸
This came out making the place look more inviting and romantic than it appeared in the photo. Perhaps they'd pay you well to use it in their advertising. Good technique: masking fluid over the purple to preserve the brilliance of the flowers. Thanks, as always🙋🏼♀️🌿
Wonderful tutorial Paul! And two gorgeous paintings to try - thank you so much for sharing your skills with us all. Also, congrats on getting your wisteria to bloom - it can be so stubborn! 😊
What Fun ! The playful loose style is exactly what I needed. Its easy to let the expectations of others ( esp those we love and care for ) and even worse the expectations I put on myself put a screeching halt to my paintings. I have noticed fun exercises like the loose vs tight example you provided , go a long way toward getting me back in the groove. Each video is packed with great tips and info to help us improve and grow during our watercolor journey. For example, the section of "real time" showed your careful and seemingly deliberate single stroke of the paint brush to paper even in this loose relaxed style of painting. Your hand and brush were easily visible as you touched paint brush to paper. Sometimes in a sped up version, while they are also very useful, it can deceptively look like you are dabbing all over the place ( lol ) in a back and forth over and over motion but in reality you are painting a single stroke, not a back and forth motion over and over the same area. Being able to clearly see your hand and brush tip in real time allows us to see exactly how you are painting. This is so helpful to a new to watercolor artist like me. This is just one small examples of the information that can be gained by watching your videos, and the excellent way you present how you paint. Thank you for taking time to do these and share your talent with all of us. Thank you so much for every video .
I wasn’t able to watch yesterday because I was planning to go see a friend and do some watercoloring together. She did get to watch your video yesterday and mentioned it. I love watching the peaceful scenes from the hotel. Just gorgeous. I’m definitely going to try painting this. Might even try using my masking fluid. I love how you say “it’s a piece of art and not an engineer’s drafting drawing” because that’s so true. Each person will create something unique. Art is basically an extension of the artist. (Probably why do many love your art)😉 Have a blessed day!
Outstanding tutorial on the flower that has given me fits for a long time. I loved so much about this film. Thank you so much for generously sharing your talents with us.
A fabulous painting tutorial accompanied by some lovely melodic music. Thank you so much for your time every week, it’s so appreciated by all. Powder Mills looks beautiful, I will try to get along to one of your little painting breaks soon.
I love the wisteria I want to try this next. I want to tell you that I received your book today and I love it, I was in the middle of the blue door and was excited to find the tutorial in the book. Thanks for all you do! 😘
Brilliant tutorial. I love how you showed two completely different styles and I also liked the part about the hotel. It was interesting to see and it seems definitely worth signing up to one of these future events!
Lucky you, your gardens, your flowers. You have a admirable life from my observation. My name is same so love to see you sign. I am stuck in California longing to return to my English/Welsh roots. Maybe baby some day, I tell myself. Painting is my traveling these days. Learn a lot from you. thanks
Love the holiday video! Love the music! Love the painting! Thank you for sharing. I really very very enjoyed the paintings you attached at the end of each demo so I waited till the end but recently I couldnt find them, they are extremely beautiful!
To tell the truth, the wisteria have already withered in the south of France... but it is a pleasure to see them again through this very pretty watercolor. Thank you for all the tips we learn from you...And so disappointed not to be able to take part in these artistic retreats...
You are amazing, 2 tutorials for us today! I love wisteria thank you so much for sharing this with us. I can’t believe 50% not subscribed, I subscribed after I saw your first video! Cheers Paul, I will work hard to do justice to these paintings.
Thanks Paul, a great tutorial, I am going to give it a try for sure! and I 'd say that the statue is a discobol, a 'disc thrower' , meaning a greek athlete...
I love that picture; I will definitely try this one. I'm jealous of your wisteria, I've had one for 10 years that's huge, and it didn't flower once. Thanks for painting it.
This is so gorgeous and with all the features ok almost 😅. I truly glued to my screen as not to miss out. Thank you for another astounding tutorial. Even if I skip some of your steps, it still looks very pretty. All my paintings done after your tutorials look beautiful and apart

Love this exercise as usual! Just got back from my road trip it was amazing got to the bottom of Utah when we had to turn around and head home. We visited 5 parks and did a ton of hikes up mountainsides and saw some beautiful places.
