Huge thank you to Phil from @PRC Taping for his help with all our How-To Series videos! / prctaping
Good day, what will be the proper mud brand that applicable in flat box?
Where can I get some of those buckets for my company 👍🏻👍🏻
Do you mix it thicker for the ceilings? It seems to drip a lot when this thin. Also: is it possible to adjust the amount of mud coming out of the bazooka in any way?
Been looking for the Columbia finishing blades. Are they available in Ontario yet? If so, where? And if not, when?
All good things come to those who wait! ;) They are on their way soon!
A sponge full of water seems like the most inconsistent way of measuring anything, apart from how many wet sponges do you have.
I just don’t get it either. I respect Phil a lot, but using a sponge is so bush league. Use a compound tube and at least have some consistency, plus you don’t have to bent over to add water.
Every bucket of mud is different. You just need to add water until it is the right consistency. I have had extremely dry mud and mud that was almost the consistency of what they show at the end of the video in a brand new tub.
Thanks for all the (how to videos) there is a reason I buy columbia taping tools. Waiting on a columbia style mudrunner, are you gonna make em???
So glad you are enjoying the videos! Have you checked out the Columbia Compound Tube?
Yes. By the way, I'm expecting an columbia automatic taper today or tomorrow. Really hope it works like I'm hoping.
shaun g so how it working for you?
I prefer my mud loose like that whether im running tools or not... It seems the slower the mud the more it tends to pick up trash .. I've also found that doing a timed clean out, no matter the muds condition, just dump it... And by clean out I do mean clean out... Take your whole pan to the bucket or slop sink and clean everything ....all the knives you're using and the pan...clean everything decently, re load your pan and go back to work...does anyone else do this?? I wasnt trained to do it or taught to, it just seems like it creates better, cleaner results.... I refuse to let my pan even remotely get to a point that it's dropping mud rocks and trash into the pan...I dead it before it can even start..Clean it all out and get to work!
👍👍👍👍
thats alot of mud on his pants
With italian subtitle ... Lol
Please lose the loud music
