This is the very best instructional video I’ve ever seen. Thank you for your transparency. I appreciate how you revealed the problems you encountered during the process of installation.

Thanks a lot for the video, I had to fight to line it up and removing the other hose fitting to the right let me move it enough to get it lined up and threaded so that tip really helped. I just finished this job, let me share some more hard earned advice. 1st, use a crows foot with a ratchet if you can. I had an 18mm but not a 16mm for the bottom. For the bottom, you can use a long 16mm wrench to get leverage to loose the bolt. Then switch to short 16mm wrench for complete loosening and re tightening.
For the bottom part - get under the vehicle and reach your left hand behind the plastic dirt guard behind the tires (you may need to loosen it, and also to not have big arms) and up over the long steering column thingy to grab the hose with your hand. With your right hand pull the nut down to expose the end of the pipe. Pull the pipe down and get the end of the metal line stuck in that hole. It will hold in place. It's still misaligned at this point. Now take your left hand and grab the metal pipe where it curves close to where the fitting is, and pull the pipe downward to line it up while using your right to get it threaded enough that you can let go with your left and carefully tighten it with a wrench. Make sure its turning easy and isn't cross threaded.
Wear safety glasses because PS fluid is going to be dripping into your eyes (ask me how I know this). You can wear gloves but you are going to get messy AF and have crap all over your arms.
On my 99 Yukon I didn't need to mess with the fan shroud, but the upper radiator hose was really in the way. If I had to do it over again I would remove that hose and at that point you probably should just replace it.

After seeing your video about your high pressure line leaking from under the plastic cover. Took my cover off to find out it the hose was split and that's where it was leaking from.

You can cut the old línea and use a socket to get the old línea off the gear box..
