Such a great, well written and produced video! I enjoyed every second of it and Im genuinely looking foward to what your channel can achieve. Seriously, the quality of your content is impressive and definitely deserves more recognition. Didn't expect to see a friend of mine (Mirror) there too, and honestly thank you all for this homage to my favorite character I love Superman since I recognize myself as a person. One of the very first memories I have, and remember vividly to this day, is me watching the 40's Superman cartoon, the one from Fleischer Studios. My father gave me some dvds when I was like 3 (I don't know how he got those) and there was something about this mighty hero with such iconic design that always fascinated me. I didn't know how old and influential that show was back then, but I think that was my first contact with the character, and where my love for Superman (and animation) begun. After that there was the Justice League Unlimited show and the Donner films (which I didn't really like that much as a kid but fell in love with time) and I always would be the different kid for preferring him over Batman. Then I finally started to read comics when I was 10 and my appreciation for the character of Superman mattured even more. He is the quintessential super hero. Period. His stories are some of the most profound, intimate, wholesome, human and yet sophisticated stories I experienced in any media. The ultimate human character. Someone privileged with something unfortunately a lot of people didn't have. I am not talking about his powers, but his loving family. He received the best humanity could offer, and he decides to retribute that. He decides to retribute that kindness, that compassion, that love with the rest of the world. For All Seasons, for example, is such a special story about life's nature. We know happiness because we know sadness. We know Spring because we know Fall. We know farture because we know scarcity. This comic despicts a very necessary message about life through it's seasons. Life will have it's hard moments, thats unavoidable. But they don't last forever. The Sun will rise another day. I could go on and on talking about other Superman stories and elements that are so special, but I think you guys already did a awesome job showing that and why Superman is the GOAT Keep it up man, cheers from Brazil
When you come down to it, Superman at his core is an amalgamation of fiction’s greatest heroes at its purest form, ranging from the mystical heroes of mythology, the fantastical heroes of folklore and fairytales and the masked heroes, adventurers, frontiersmen and detectives of the dime and pulp stories. Even if some of those heroes have fallen into obscurity, Superman continues their legacy.
@@RedElkComics obviously I like Batman and Spider-Man a lot more however I can't deny the huge impact of the character of Superman given the fact that he's the first major superhero.....
I'd like to bring my perspective to this video. Superman is the child's first superhero, and a big part of that is that he in many ways represents a childish, idealized version of what an adult should be: kind but firm, clever but not intimidatingly intelligent, strong enough to shrug off anything that a child knows would hurt them but even he has his limits and weaknesses. Superman's story is essentially that of a man who could do anything, and chooses to be good, and a lot of people as they grow up and become more cynical, start to lose touch with the beauty of the character. Lex Luthor represents many of the traits adults strive for: wealth, intellect, shrewdness, boldness and pushing himself relentlessly to meeting his goals. To see a character like that, one who often even escapes consequences due to a combination of aforementioned traits, tends to inspire more cynical adults who reject the ideals of self-sacrifice and compassion that the Man of Steel promotes. It's partially why, as you've said, so many people claim Superman is dated. I think they've lost touch with that inner, idealized child who really does want to be like Superman and make the world a better place with a smile on their face. I think it's why Superman will always be relevant, because for every person who tries to emulate people like Lex, there will be at least one who tries to emulate Superman's values and morals and I think that will help making our world even a bit brighter. - Sci-Fi Stewy
I'm not a big Superman fan, personally, but this video and a couple of others that I watched from your channel are just so pure in expression that it's a bit heartwarming to me. Keep rockin' on dude!
The editing is getting much Better, I can't believe that I'm ordered right next to Mr Phillip Kennedy Johnson I love this video, and as already said in the video, I Love Superman (And The Flash, but it isn't Wallys video lol)
This was fantastic great job man and I agree world needs superman more then ever and personally I would really love to do a collaboration with you on superman someday especially with the superman family because that would be really aweosme and tons of fun.
Superman is incredibly humble, I think he knows that people love him and he probably likes that, but he doesn't let that affect him. He's more happy if someone is inspired to do good because of him.

Exactly
Superman is and will always be the best superhero ever.
Superman must always seek to subvert the trolly dillema. Doing this requires creativity and ability to see possibilities that aren't prompted.
Superman is a great superhero.
I know right

Great video, great message. I really appreciate people giving this perspective.

Look how warner bros and dc consistantly butcher and humiliate this icon, especially for batman's benefit.
Is Superman really a prideful person?

@@RedElkComics Okay. Thanks for your answer.
It takes extreme humility to have that kind of power and still act as a servant to humanity.
