This is the Crosshair Xtreme Diversity antenna system. Capable of 5 miles on just 200mW with wide beam coverage and penetration. www.videoaerialsystems.com/co...
A little followup on this antenna set. I have used this for about 9 months and have had zero issues. Beam width is such you do have to turn your head if you fly behind yourself but knew that going into it. Reception-wise, nothing I have touches this for range. This is the best 5.8 goggle mounted antenna set you can get, period.
@@d3c0deFPV yup, been running an Ion and Crosshair Extreme on my goggles for a while now, Alex sent me a prototype maybe a month before they got released and I've been using it since then. Really good combo for receiving antennas.
@@Dav2112 I finally caved and bought a Rapidfire module recently because I've started flying in more indoor high multipath environments, and my Achilles RX5808 module wasn't keeping up. Two VAS Ions perform amazingly well, but it's great to have the Crosshair Extreme in my bag for range. I'm definitely a fan of VAS products.
I'm still bragging about my original LHCP pepperbox! Man that thing can punch and range has never been a problem unless you are talking about the fee times I out ran my 2.4ghz radio with clear as glass video tell I hit the ground wondering what just happened with my radio link... iBcrazy is the only man I trust to run with my crossfire on 5.8ghz and beyond ! Thanks for keeping me in the clear and in the air! 🥃cheers🍻
Will pick one up AND thanks for all the development you do :) Would it by-the-way be possible to make a version with shorter cables? I use a SkyZone so with 2 short cables it would be a cleaner setup (?) Cheers & happy flying!
Video Aerial Systems ok blue beam where can I get this please and the filter I have a vas Ibcrazy 1.3 /2.4 notch filter lrs but video is still bad thanks for the help👍
It you give you a bigger LR flight area than a single crosshair at least with a traditional diversity rx. One of the other main benefits would be the ability to give two Long range signals for frame reconstruction IDK how that would translate to Laforge
@@CAGreve1231 Thanks Alex , Now is it safe to say that I can use two patches with my Laforge as well ( I’m on a budget and I have two Menace patches) I was also told recently that I should not use two patches on traditional diversity ? Is that true? I’m just starting out.
My question is traditional diversity vs Rapidfire/Clearviews magic sauce. I was told with traditional diversity you should only run a patch with an Omni / Cloverleaf. Any help is much appreciated, I’m just a newbie.
Bought the LZR mout last year and put the crosshairs on. May even have pepper boxes as an option to put up there if I want to get stupid. This is what happens when you dont have kids... you buy tons of crap
Had it for a few months now testing... Flat out awesome. Cant run it out of range for where I fly. Keep the good stuff coming Alex!
Purchasing in progress....thank You.
Another good one!!! Gonna be getting one of these!
Ordered! Was waiting for something like this. Good job Alex. I know when I order your stuff it just works like the way it is supposed too.
Thank you!

Your the man, keep it up.
Love my Crosshair Extreme!
Me too, and my Ion!

Cheers, my friend!
I just bought this one and mount it on ev300o.. I tried both mode, diversity and mix and signal is much much better on mix mode.

Is SkyZone SMA or RPSMA? If RPSMA, the Cyclops cables would fit.
@@CAGreve1231 RPSMA.. the Skyzone's have their antenna connectors on 2 sides.. so the wires on your setup could be 1/3rd or less for that goggle..
Damn you make the best shit!
We do our best!
Hi Alex I have 1.2ghz video and crossfire my rig is a rc car what’s best antenna for this application long range thanks👍
I would use a bluebeam Pro, personally. Just be sure you put a filter on your 1.3GHz receiver or your video will be harmed by your control.
Video Aerial Systems ok blue beam where can I get this please and the filter I have a vas Ibcrazy 1.3 /2.4 notch filter lrs but video is still bad thanks for the help👍
Hello paycheck, goodbye paycheck! It was a good couple hours! lol
what best combo, this crosshair or crosshair extreme (single) + skyhammer ? thanks
👍👍
👍
Holy hell. That's excellent. I need to save up. That's not what my bank account says, but hey, whatever!
To quote Trappy: "Isn't the definition of hobby a money pit""
Would it work good on dji
yep
@@killacovertops i would love to put these in a custom 3d printed face plate for lower profile and i could leave them on full time!
Of course... but I'd run the Cyclops instead. It is 4 Xtremes on one single panel which is designed to mount to the DJI.
Can I run this with my Laforge? Or is this only for Rapidfire etc..

Its for fatsharks not any specific module. But rapidfire is king!
I run it on my LaForge. So yes, it works.
