This is the most imaginative, ingeniously fun addition to rc flight since the ppl first started fpv'ing thing IMO. Great work! I already only fly VAS antennas!
Looking forward to seeing what your RTFs with this look like. I'm very interested in getting some people on board and having some battles

Alex, fantastic work. We have recently been doing streamer FPV combat and this will let us take it to the next level. If you are seeing orders from Arizona -- that might be from our little group. Looking forward to it.
Use the streamers to help identify aircraft during the day! That will solve a lot of the problems with locating a target.
I just ordered mine! Can't wait to get it in the air...I sent it to a few friends and we are going to build a spec version, so we will all have the same set up.
Did you ever get it up and running? I was thinking of using some kind of flite test foam kit
@@explodingevo No not yet, I got all the parts but didn't have time to build the kit yet. We are going to use the FliteTest Simple Scout for the airframe(fpv of course)

Could you add machine gun sound effect to Open Tx sound clips when shooting ? And e engine stuttering sound when damaged?

I think there is a machine gun sound for open TX. However, when hit, your motor pulses so you can hear that. I do not know of a way to get data back to the radio to indicate when hit.
Alex, can you expand a little bit on the RGB counter LED -- do you have a link or source for that?
Any RGB LED strip will work. They are also called "addressable LEDs". You just need a string of 9 of them and this will automatically address each LED for the score counter.

this is sick.. can you set what happens when your hit (ex: fs for 1 sec then cut power 50% for 5 sec)?
Yes. That is what the adjustment potentiometers do.
Would you be able to use this with only the lights being attached? No motor cut out or servo twitch just lighting indicators?
Yes, no problem. It just works on whatever you connect to it. If you do not connect the ESC or servos, the combat board will not affect them.
Does the hit receiver need to be placed outside the fuselage for best performance?
Ideally, yes.
Does video system (analog or digital) make a difference with this system?
Not at all. It works with both

would be nice if there is a indi on osd in fpv cam that u been hit or dmage..
There is an OSD output pin, but no OSD onboard. Having an OSD onboard would add more complexity and cost. I wanted this system to be very inexpensive and simple.

There is just one: the "B" pin. You need to configure your OSD to make it work. There is no built-in OSD, just an interface.
Is SBus or PPM input an option?
Currently no. I am working on it, though. SBus is a bit of an issue. I should be able to figure out PPM, no problem.
Where do we get it and how much?less of course you’re going to sell it already pre-installed on the gremlin ready to fly would be awesome
I will be doing RTF planes soon. The Ace combat will be available at 10:00 EST... 30 minutes from now.
And it will be very affordable. I don’t think I will make any money on this, but making money wasn’t the point.
