The purpose of this video is to replicate the ideal look of the televised contest while including the new footage found under YLE archives and new footage of participants after the original reconstruction was released. I’ve also noticed that there’s a problem at the end of the audio. In the audio on UA-cam, there’s no audio of Svend Pedersen giving Gigliola Cinquetti her trophy or the reprise. Instead it skips to the audio of the original performance. If anyone knows about a full version of the audio, please inform me.
Put the flag of Yugoslavia instead Bosnia. It is more apropriate.

unfortunately at this time countries like portugal were living under a dictatorship and many condemned the regime of antonio oliveira salazar hence the last place attributed to portugal and also that year the performance of antonio Calvário was not broadcast, who was also whistled precisely for political reasons which left the angry singer

When Anneke Grönloh appeared, the recording was not good.
@@Billy219 She was the first Asian singer singing in that European singing contest. She may have looked "foreign" to many European eyes and Europeans may have asked one another who that singer was. In The Netherlands and Dutch-speaking countries, people knew her well.

@@user-mb5mc4pt3l I’m currently working on a third version of this video that has the aspect ratio improved. The video will also have new sources and additions. My goal for this third version is to make it as accurate as possible, while doing research as what television viewers might have saw. After the video gets uploaded, the 2 other reconstructions will be unlisted.
Painfully bad patchwork.
I wouldn’t be pessimistic, so I’ll take this as constructive criticism. If it explains anything, I added the clips of the conductors days before I finalized the project. I’ve also found some new techniques from the software I used after posting the video.
For the songs, I used any available footage of the singers performing them outside of the contest, then I would match the lips with the audio. This would sometimes lead to sudden speedy or slow parts.
