I’m the creator of Jej from Animatic Battle! Please don’t mind the lack of OSC content here, as that’s not my main focus in my channel. Also, please refrain from calling me the Ohio guy, associating me with gen alpha slang, or hating me or my character for it.
I create Eurovision and other content. My channel is mainly about focusing on lost Eurovision media, specifically the 1956 and 1964 contests, since I both like Eurovision and lost media.

Hugues Aufrey — "Dès que le printempts revient" (Eurovision 1964 Reconstruction V3 Sneak Peek)
After several months of restoring and reconstructing various sources for the third version of the 1964 Eurovision reconstruction, I’m proud to announce that all of the 16 participating entries have been completely restored and reconstructed. Only the interval acts and the intro are yet to be completed.
After a positive result in the poll where I asked if I can release one of the acts, I finally found the time to do so.
Special thanks to @Eurovision-OLD (who restored this footage) and @visionofeuro for helping me restore almost everything needed for the project’s completion.
Shortly after the full version is finished and released, the previous versions will be unlisted, and we will start on the newer 1956 reconstruction. Stay tuned!
Please note that the majority of the footage shown is not from the original 1964 Eurovision Song Contest broadcast, but rather footage to fill the gaps to show visuals of the performers singing their songs to the speed of the audio. The title says exactly what happens. This skit came from a German documentary from 2002, talking about the history of the Eurovision Song Contest. In the 1956 Eurovision Song Contest, held in Lugano, Switzerland, Lés Trois Ménestrels performed multiple interval acts, including this one, "La Guerre de Troie." They performed after the other interval actors, Les Joyeux Rossignols, performed all of their songs. @@user-xo3sm6mf5k As far as I can tell, there’s very little hope in finding out about a copy’s existence unless we get more news. Fortunately, it’s confirmed that RAI has a 3 minute BTS clip that’s non-digitized. RAI also helped transmit the footage for RSI, since they only had the budget for radio transmissions.
@@jejtherusheddoodle23 Some actual video might be on there then perhaps?? Hopefully RAI can find the time to digitise it soon, assuming they don't lose the film until then...

It started out as a song contest now it is a freek show.
Sometimes the freak acts make the show a lot more memorable and fun to watch. Time can really take stuff like Eurovision places.

Great to see this footage... I'm a ESC programme booklet collector. I have all of the 1950s examples in my collection, but 1964 is proving elusive, as are some of the other ones from the 60s. It seems like you have ways of finding things - is there a way of contacting you?

And now nearly 7 decades later, ESC is going back to where it all started! And such a pity Lys Assia is no longer with us, but having ESC 2025 in Lugano again would be the most perfect tribute to the ESC Queen!
