Foscam HD Cameras - Basic Setup on Mac

In this video tutorial we show you how to initially set up your FI9821W or similar model on Mac. The Mac version we use in this video is 10.8.3 (Mountain Lion). We are setting up the camera on an Apple Airport Express router. This video tutorial covers setting up the camera on the correct network configuration settings and also covers how to install the plug-in on Mac to view live video in Safari.

You didn't explain what to do if you get the error "Subnet doesn't match, dbclick to change!". I checked my subnet Mask and it matches but I still get this error. Please Help

I am using Mavericks. I have downloaded the IP Camera Tool, but when I open it, the camera doesn't register as being there. Help?

I realize this vlog is from 2013, but can set up be done on a Mac air laptop or an iPad as long as you have a wireless modem/router ? I also have a registered domain with password through Dyn.

Your video is a BIG help but initial basic setup with ethernet does not display exactly on my mac. and it is looking for PPPoe for some reason when i try to enter manually the settings under ethernet. Any suggestions? Appreciated! The camera is recognized and it does work..... just the ethernet setup is not working. Thanks! Joey

cannot connect even via ethernet - safari just spins but it does show page

I got all the way to view the camera in Safari, but the 3 tabs that you have "Live Video, Settings, and Playback" are all missing from the top of my browser... and I'm just stuck on the Settings tab, with no way to change. What do I need to do?

My Network is showing 3 DNS servers sets of numbers. Do I use the gateway number or the first set of numbers under the Network to fill in the camera DNS box?
