@@JasonandEarl right when I tried to put the spacers it looked like the driveshafts weren't in line . I myself have absolutely no issues. Thanks for the response.
@@rl4643 I have this kit, Im about to install it, does diff hit the bed, or does it bottem out, Im surprised yall didn't instal the perch shims, carrier spacer and the transmission spacer, no driveline vibrations?
@@frankdatank7751 no it doesn’t hit I also pulled out the overload springs to get one more inch of drop in the rear. You have to hit hard to make it bottom out. I put the carrier spacer on the short side and I don’t have any vibration. I used a grinder with a cut off wheel went through the rivets with ease.
Not for this one. However, we do c notch it in a later video that you can find on our channel. ua-cam.com/video/Bd5BQUssX5Q/v-deo.htmlsi=OlWMP7QF6Mqn09iw

I'm selling one has 95k miles one owner the interior is mint condition factory paint some scratches and a dent in the driver side door. 1994 GMC Sierra black 2 inch drop.
@@JasonandEarl Thanks. I have a 97 sierra single cab long bed and have been going back and forth on how low to go. I just don't want to have to cut into the frame.
@@JasonandEarl I actually use my head but nothing too crazy. I live in Miami,FL and drive down to the keys for fishing so I bring a beach fishing cart and coolers. It's mostly a highway truck. I got it for $900 and fixed various things to keep it going. It's a V6 5spd 2wd.
@@JasonandEarl just bought a redone rear end with a yukon posi and 3.42 gears. My original rear was an open diff and 3.08. I'm going to have that installed once I buy the lowering kit.
I picked one up, almost a month ago at 133,xxx. It needs new paint and to be lowered
Did you put the carrier bearing spacer and pinion shims? I did the same kit I didn't use the shims and spacers.
We did not install those as well. No issues so far. I had another lowered truck with same kit for 3 years never any issues.

Looks really good
Nice work to those who worked 😉
Thank you! It was mostly Jason lol
Where did you get the grill and headlights from
Amazon purchases! I'll be putting up another update video on the truck soon.
Whats the best way you would recommend taking off the hanger rivets?
Thanks nice truck!!!!!
If you have access to plasma cutter that would work best
@@JasonandEarl Thank you!!
What did you do with the lines going through that bracket
Are you referring to the e-brake lines? We just routed and secured them using screw in guides.
Did you have to cut anything for the hanger on the driverside?
Other than what you saw in the video, nope.
Nice I’m really debating on doing this to my obs 3/4 looks good on the SS wheels
Can I get a part number for the hangers?
What fixed the wobble when braking?
New rotors. The ones that were on there were extremely warped and worn down. New rotors and brake pads got it braking real smooth.
@@JasonandEarl new bearings or did you reuse your old ones?
New bearings and seals
nasty freaking fire
Is there a list for parts ?

Good looking truck I'm fixing to buy one to fix up

Why sell? Sounds like a pretty nice truck!
@@JasonandEarl I ordered a charger hellcat two months ago and I mean I could use a bigger down payment when it actually gets to the dealership lol
That makes sense lol
Did you have to trim your lca
I did not and I ended up using a 2 inch drop lca from djm. Itll be reviewed in the update video coming soon.
Is it a long bed?
It's a regular 6.5 foot bed
On those ss wheels you are running 275/60s front and rear?
That is correct! However, I have done a wheel/tire swap at this point. New video featuring the updates is coming soon!
Clean
How many inches did yall drop it?
It was a 3/4 drop kit.
Link to kit?
It's just a belltech set you can snag from any parts store or amazon. They have a front, rear, front and rear, and a couple different height options.
What drop is it?
In this video, it is a 3/4 drop. We are waiting to get a few minor things done before doing an update on it. It's currently at a 5/8 drop.
It’s real nice man
How low did you go?
It' was a 3/4 drop kit. Sits about 28 inches ground to fender lip in the front. 30.5 in the rear.
@@JasonandEarl Thanks. I have a 97 sierra single cab long bed and have been going back and forth on how low to go. I just don't want to have to cut into the frame.
We went as low as you can go without cutting the frame. I have about 3 inches of clearance but heavy hauls definitely make it rest on the bump stops.

🔥🔥🔥
Did it need cnotch
Not when we did that drop. However, we did go lower and ended up needed a notch. There is another video on our channel showing that work too!
Nice 🔥
Did you have balljoint problems with the lowering springs because i have that problem with mine
Nothing has shown itself yet also didn't slam it.
Earl Here! Like Jason said, we haven't noticed issues yet. Though I would love to go the air bag and big wheel route and make it sit on the ground lol
