    Honestly when it comes to the hard components ill choose cheap, but springs and shocks ill spend the extra money.

    Thanks for showing the comparisons!!! This really helped me justify not spending an extra grand for mods I’m not interested in obtaining!!! Great Vid!!!

    I think it’s all the same.
    Maybe the springs might be the big difference when it all mounted and it settles one might be a little lower.

    I've installed a couple cheap kits. It was a no brainer after the first to go that direction on the second one. No problems on my end with the cheap kit. But like you said, I had no intention of buying higher end brake setups, like a willwood etc. Thats my 2 cents lol

    • @1194video
      @1194video  3 роки тому +4

      The beltech required smaller bearings where the cheap kit was oem size bearings so I liked the cheap kit better hands down. I dont see the need for the 1000 upcharge to add fancy calipers just for bragging rights either.

    I have a 2002 z66 I'm also lowering it mine has 20-in wheels with BFG 35-inch all-terrains right now but that wasn't me that was the guy I bought it from so she's getting new shoes and slammed on the ground I think an even hidden side pipes stashing either into the body or fake running boards nothing too extravagant Don't have all that much time to do it The good luck and did it drive nice after you were done

      The eBay kit does seem to make it just about a .5 wider

    That $500 ebay kit is now over $700, just like everything else. Seems to be that the ebay kit just ripped off the design and built it with cheap overseas labor to get that price point. Who knows if Bell Tech outsources their materials/machining for their kits, but it appears they came up with the quality design, and maybe should get something out of that effort.
    I'm considering a 5/7 drop on my 93 work truck. one question I have about this kit is whether you need the shock relocation kit out back. Or does the new shock in the kit not need the extender?

    • @1194video
      @1194video  6 місяців тому +3

      You do not need the shock replicator kit. That is only required if you use stock size shocks

      iv already installed the beltech and i can honestly say that the cheap kit is the way to go. the spindle on the beltech requires you to change out your front bearings to smaller where the cheap kit allows your oem bearing sizes

    whats a good drop kit for a 1997 ford f150 single cab

    • @1194video
      @1194video  25 днів тому +1

      @@reflexzyt8550 depends on the drop, you could do springs and shackles, flip kit. And lower control arms, lowering leafs. And hangers, it all depends on how low you wanna go, I recommend going to bell techs website

  • @thatrebelboy48

    The only thing I'll add is about the springs. The one that you have linked in your description is for a V6 truck. If that's the exact same kit you have here, that's why the springs are different. Only thing this will do for a truck that has a V8 is lower it a little more than the V8 springs. Also when ordering a kit that includes a spindle, make sure you get the kit that matches your brake rotor thickness. 1" rotors vs 1.25" rotors. Great video!!

      It’s the 694sp with upgraded spindles for an aftermarket braking system. I used oem calipers but it gives an option.

    When lowering a truck is it necessary to change the control arms or keep
    The factory ones. Truck is brand new btw

    • @1194video
      @1194video  7 місяців тому +3

      You do not need to replace the control arms, you can however buy lowering control arms that utilize stock suspension and use the arms to angle the spindle to lower without using aftermarket springs and spindles. If using air ride I do suggest control arms but if not going air ride then no need to replace the factory a arm components
