Nice music and I like sound effect of salt,can oil be added slowly when making in a blender and can olive oil be used? Which oil gives the best taste and flavor and what's the shelf life.

It should last a good week, even longer. If you use vinegar instead of lemon, it will last even longer.

Joel, i did not see you add any type of sweet ingredients to your mayo or tartar sauce, which is good for the area i'.m from. Our mayo doesn't really have any mustard base, and there are 2 brands here in the states which are very good, hellmans and dukes, many people here, mostly children, but a fair amount of adults like a sweet mayo which is called salad dressing, but i have never seen it put on a salad, it is used in place of mayo and basically has the same consistency/texture.we also have a product in a 3 state area called cincinnati chili, it is more of a chili sauce than an actual chili, but there are literally hundreds of chili parlors in the region from chains to many 1 owner parlors, and there is also only 1 tartar sauce that people will eat in this region, and it the best i have ever tasted. Believe it or not, it is made by a family who owns a hamburger chain in the area called frischs big boy. There are many big boy chains in the u.s. i.e. bobs big boys, jerrys big boys etc... but none of them have the same recipes for tartar sauce as the frischs family. I can get any or all of these 3 items, which are shelf stable, the only 1 that really needs a recipe for how we eat it is the cincinnati chile, they are all owned by greeks and it is a love/hate food, i love it. Anyway, i would be willing to ship you some, if you agree to ship me a few items, i would like to,try the vegemite and maybe 1 or 2 other of Aussie staples that would be shelf stable that you might suggest, if you,are interested

What is the shelf life of mayonnaise?
Which oil would result in good taste? I tried with soya bean oil, resulted in bitter & oily smell. Any suggestion?

I do it with very good olive oil ! Taste and smell like Italy ! I’m really surprised you did it with those horrible processed vegetables oil 😟 but thanks a lot for tartar recipe ! It came out great with my olive oil Mayo 😂
Mayo with olive oil can get very bitter. Most people don't like it.
@@recipe30 mine never got bitter 🤷🏼♀️I do it with my best olive oil !is really green and smells Olive , ( is usually made in just one country ) I use the light color one that are pretty cheep too for cooking ( not frying ) 🤷🏼♀️

Not really, olive oil will make it taste bitter.
Before we got lazy every real cook made their own Mayo.
