Looked at a couple of videos from Align Therapy and they were helpful. Thank you. This video was especially helpful since I was sent home from physical therapy to do the hanging movement/posture assuming I could use a chin bar that I have. But that was no good because the chin bar is too high, and if I lowered it in the door frame then you wouldn't be able to walk through the door. I did some research on-line and found this video. I purchased several items from Amazon without spending a lot, and it's worked out perfectly. I got the door anchor, a Trideer 10 loop stretching strap, and a dowel rod. The dowel needs to be an appropriate size to include the diameter which was not mentioned in the video here. You don't want anything too thin that may snap while you're hanging all of your weight off of it. I got a 36 inch, 1-1/4 diameter dowel and that works nicely. Also, when setting this up on your door I suggest using it from the outside of the door, not the side that swings away from the door frame. If it's set up on the side that swings away from the door frame and the door comes unlatched while your hanging the anchor could potentially slip out causing you to fall. Set it up on the side that closes into the door frame so the door can't go anywhere when closed. Once the anchor's in place and the door is closed give the strap on the anchor a good pull and make sure it's secure with no slack. Hope all this makes sense.

@@AlignTherapyUtah Thank you! Very helpful.
can someone enlighten me we do hanging with scoliosis or not? i read it's old way as scoliosis not only one plane deformity
Hanging is great...as long as you control ALL planes of motion. That is the beauty of Schroth.
@@AlignTherapyUtah Thanks🌹🙏
May I ask how i can get more about schroth method?
@@emanfathy95 I would look up the Schroth Barcelona Institute.
Can a TRX suspension work?
It can, but try to get it so your knees can rest against the wall or door. We want the legs relaxed as much as possible.
Is hang on the bar good for scoliosis?
Yes!
Thank you so much!
