was looking to do a nitrous kit. ppl kept saying it was no good. but now learning from your video. im going to do a wet system. window switch. fuel pressure. purge valve. bottle heater and two stage floggers.
I have one question , so while charging nitrous botle , nos is luqid or gas ? In my country there is not any place where you can charge botle with nitrous is it possible to make nitrous myself ? I mean i can use amonium nitrate to recive NOS gas in somewhere but does it works how can i put this gas than to bottle ?
This video is a good explanation of how a nitrous oxide system increases power and what needs to be done to properly set up a nitrous oxide injection system. However if a nitrous oxide injection system is not done properly it can destroy the engine. There is a UA-cam video that shows a nitrous oxide system that was installed on a Toyota Prius. The first time the nitrous oxide system was turned on, it destroyed the Toyota Prius internal combustion engine.
I was almost gonna leave a bad comment until the phase change was mentioned. I thought nos was completely useless because if you want more fuel and oxygen, just add boost. So what's the point in consuming a consumable, well it turns out the phase change basically refrigerates the reactants. So anyway why don't they just use propane gas? It would be the same nitrous effect but from the fuel side. Plus it's less dense than gasoline so ud get even more phase change cooling. But I'm not really sure if that's even helpful either, because all that cooling, and the pistons end up at 1500 degrees anyway, and since degrees equal to pressure, is the engine making the same power? Or does the nitrous and propane, create a higher pressure at still 1500 degrees
And this whole thing only works in Gasoline land in a diesel it's totally different because you can lean a diesel out with nitrous if you have the fuel to burn. You can lean them all the way out to 28:1 make more power and Exhaust gas temps drop because you can consume all the available fuel to be burnt with extra so it acts as a cooling agent to keep piston temps down which is less heat rejected to the cooling system and your oil temps as well
@@lukedougherty7078 well turns out that the cooling cools the temperature, but the pressure is still higher because theres more fluid in a smaller area under higher pressure while still at the combustion temperature. So propane with nos would work really great.
@@MinecraftSurge you missed the point but you are not wrong yes cylinder pressure rises but with a controller you can pulse modulate it to work when you need it too without hurting stuff but what I was getting at is it's a lot harder to hurt a diesel with NOS as opposed to gas
@@MinecraftSurge I.E but diesel is injected differently than gas too both indirect and direct the pressures are so much higher and both fuels act considerably different as well you can't really apples to apple it
Your statement about putting straight oxygen into the engine is false. The rapid expansion of nitrogen is what pushes the piston down no nitrogen no push.

Ok
Which is better wet nos or dry nos😅
@@JDM895 really? It is in the video!! Dry only for modified. Wet for both, but better in standar.
this is one great presentation bro,
thank you for enlightening us about N2O,
such useful enfo
Searched this out of NFS curiosity, stayed because of great explanation. Thanks!
Good Video the simple yet in-depth explanations are the best
agreed 👌
I like your channel. Good luck with it!
Love it how detailed it is.
yeah
the way he explain it with a corresponding animation is supperb
@endurofan9854 yes very.
Well explained, thanks alot.
विषय पर गहन शोध , प्रज्ञावान विश्लेषण और बहुत सुन्दर प्रस्तुति विशेष रूप से चलचित्र की सजीवता।
Cant wait for the next one, these seem pretty cool
These videos are so awesome dude, and super interesting, definitely gonna subscribe
the way he explain it is what makes me subscribe 👌
Damn that a nice video, well done bro I'll stay tuned for your next uploads
Awesome video thanks
very helpful 👍
Great job with graphics
very good video helped me a lot

Love it👍
Serious cuestion how much you think it will cost to put NOS in my g37 coupe
Good one
7:21 fun fact, it was a recreational gas before it had any industrial or medical applications.
Super
This would be great video about nwaas!
Nice touch at 3:02 haha
Im still waiting for the methanol video!
King 👑
Now for the golden question:
Can nitrous be used in a diesel engine?
You can always add water injection to cool the engine with nitrous
Wouldn’t a direct injection of liquid nitrous help with the overheating issues mentioned?

Im drifting while zigzaging and near missing the cars that are coming from the opposite lane. but i get no nos. what seems to be the problem chief?

Do you have to have forged pistons?
no. You have to respect all the rules said in the video.
did you make these renders yourself?
Yes. Thats why some parts says "repman22" abbreviated repair man 22 thank you
Liar
It's a lovely video, but not that 1:15 That molecule causes me physical pain.
This Is very informative, having knowledge Will prevent you from f*ing up your shit

To not blow the fuck up

Well I want NOS now lol
It's just cool piston, so that , engine could create more power by consuming huge fuel!!!
mixing fuel and oxigen out of the cilinder (intake tube) is very dangerous
Chemical forced induction.
Not chemical turbo.
Lol whats happun if you use propane ???
then you have no oxygen at all, so no combustion in the engine. It may blow up at the exhaust quite spectacularly
Pesquisei em português achei merda nenhum
Pesquisei em inglês... engraçado achei!
Cheers
