My Small-rig just arrived a couple of days ago: cage, rods, camera mount, battery mount, rubber grip top handle, and mini follow focus. I got the monitor mount even though I don't have a monitor yet but I skipped the side handle because I don't anticipate needing it for a while yet. For run n' gun I'll fly the camera on my Ronin-S. My rig setup looks super pro now lol (especially compared to my T6i). I've just gotta get out and start filming with it, build up experience and a reel so I can get my production company off the ground.
The lore surrounding that rig needs to be explored. Was Evil Frame Voyager the man breaking into Blackmagic's servers before? Where does the mask come from? WHAT'S THE POWER BEHIND THE MASK?!
Haha! That intro was great! Have to agree on small rig, I have it for my GH5 and love it. Something to be cautious about for m4/3 users that use a speed booster…make sure when going out on set, you already have planned out the desired lens you want to work with. I found trying to swap lens, from EF to M4/3, was a pain. Had to detach the cage to remove the speed booster. Time becomes valuable when needing to swap lens on a run and gun shoot. Lesson learned…
I've heard some people say to take it out but I've never had an issue with it myself in the 3 years I've used these cameras. The nice thing about leaving it in is if your external battery dies it switches over to the internal one so you get a bit of extra time.

Hey, what screws do you use to mount battery plate? I tried with standard ones and it's weird, but i can't tighten it and plate is woobling around like crazy. I use vmount on rods or npf on top of cam, but i want try your solution with vmount!
Yep! They made it specifically for the 6k pro unfortunately! Would be cool to see a similar design for the p4k but that one's probably been out too long at this point for an updated cage
@@FrameVoyager yeah makes total sense, although I'm attracted to those internal NDs, (rip to yours) .. I still like the size of the 4k and with a with a speed booster it's good enough in low light for me. So I see myself using it for the next few years unless something really wows me lol

I'm buying my first 6k pro this month and was wondering what settings and lens were used for it to be grainy and with image quality and sharpness loss seemingly from the use of bad iso but dunno really. You tell me! ha 😂
@@_kojira ooohhhhhhh, I got you. Well, kind of a conscious choice really. Used a Rokinon lens at like T2.0 and only used natural lighting for this. I kind of liked the grain in it and didn't need it to be super clean. I was at 3200 iso and could have cleaned it up more or dropped to 1250 but kind of liked that look 😂
