Can you make a rig like this but is then easily adaptable to a gimbal? The way I shoot, I shoot 50% hand held and 50% on a gimbal and I use a Atomos Ninja V on my GH5 and use a Ronin S for my Gimbal. I haven't really been able to figure out a rig that can "easily" transition from hand held to gimbal yet

Maybe show us how YOU use it and why you think it works so good?

    Hi, Kaleb.
What and which components, to build the Ultimate rig for the Canon 90D, do you recommend ??

Start with a small rig cage, then add to it as you please with the pieces that will most benefit you 😎

I heard angels singing when I opened this. I am with you - been tinkering for years to find the best compact rig setup.
The rear monitor flipped out on the side of the v-mount is just so slick. Excellent job!

Sincere question: I'm new to photography/videography. Why not just use something like a Sony FX6 rather than tricking out a mirrorless camera? 🤨

Question about v mount battery and converter plate youre using here. Is it safe to run 14.4v CameTV v mount battery thru nitze v mount plate youre using which outputs 14.8v?

I went ahead and started buying some parts but got a pause when looking at a monitor and v mount setup. Seems it's pretty easy to fry your hdmi port with a ground loop mistake. Is there any sure fire way to prevent damage like that?

your cable to the camera. is there a voltage regulator in the dummy battery or is 14 volts safe enough?

I used the same Nitze vmount adapter and dummy battery and it fried my Sony A73!! There definitely needs to be more info on this so more people don’t kill their cameras.

As always, stealthy video. Everything from content, URL links, timing of video, etc. is done so well. Keep it up and don't loose track of your audience.

Quick question that maybe someone can answer for me. First off, LOVE this rig. But if I purchase a monitor that takes NP-F batteries and has DC out (like the Feelworld F5 Pro) that can also charge my camera, then would I really still need the whole bottom base with the rails and DTap power system?? I know the Dtap will help power more devices for longer, but if I'm only going to be running the monitor with the camera, it would pretty much be saving me hundreds. Can someone convince me why I should still invest into the Dtap system instead? (Because i still really want this full rig lol)

Thank you for this video, Caleb. I've decided to up my game for historic video production in 2022, and one thing is with my equipment. I've watched this video over and over on how to trick-out my Canon M50. I'm really looking forward to the results! Your channel rocks!

These mountings are amazing! Great research and testing.
    1) These mounts you advise for external filmings of what kind?
    2) With so many fittings and bolting, how much time in advance does it take to be ready to go on set?
(Sorry about the Google Translate's english 😑)

🙋 How did you connect 2nd and 3rd cable to the v-mount plate?
Do you have a splitter/adapter somewhere in between?
