WHY PROPER SANDING IS CRUCIAL IN ACHIEVING THE PERFECT FINISH

Many woodworkers seem to overlook how important sanding is in achieving the perfect finish, and I have to admit I was one of them. Even if you apply the best finish there is in the proper way, if the piece is not properly prepared the results will usually be disappointing, and yes I am talking about my own experience. Proper preparation is key to a finish that can bring life to a piece, and that means sanding, and depending on the piece it could equate to hours or even days of sanding. In my own quest of understanding how important this preparation is I did some research on sanding to answer some of the questions I had about sanding and this video is the result of that research.

Let’s get this gentleman more attention… throughout this COVID-19 B.S I’ve picked up woodworking and I must say you’ve taught me tons, explanations are to the point and simple enough for a beginner to learn without showing off your latest tool in the shop like every other UA-camr :) “ don’t get me wrong I am jealous of them but I prefer a simple lesson”
