@@pintsizedbiker So Triumph is already working on a Speed 400 RR, prototypes were seen testing. Basically a Speed 400 with a quarter fairing and lowered handlebars. Then more anticipated variants are a Bobber 400 and the most awaited one, a Tiger 400. Not sure if this platform will spawn a Bonnie.
I've just watched this video. It's the first time coming across your channel. You mentioned short riders. As I'm short myself may I ask your height for comparison, in relation to the bike?
no doubt about it triumph knocked out of the park, I'd like to have seen the scambler more off-road with an upswept exhaust and bash plate and a few weeks, both are available in India as aftermarket parts, plus I do like twin shocks but that's just my person choice for easy servicing and replacement of units, one criticism I do have is the top line, bottom of the tank and seat looks like the bike had been crumpled in a head-on impact, lowering the clearance at the rear wheel would have made that a straight line, perhaps someone will make a new bolt-on subframe giving more seat options, the rear end is high for no reason,
Agreed, twin shocks are much better especially for looks and simplicity. The mono shocks on bikes do pointlessly raise pillion seat which is frustrating for pillion

SV650? Yes, great bike but a 650 VTwin that's £2000+, I'm not sure it's comparable. KTM Duke 390, Husky Vitpilen 401 perhaps. 👍
Just an outside shout 😂
@@pintsizedbiker it does show how good you think the Speed 400 is. Keep up the good work.
@@robshaw2319 thank you, true but also the jump in performance would be big for 2k. And I reckon you can get some great priced SV’s to close that gap. Will have to try one soon
Can anyone tell me the brand of cycle that has its gear shift on the right side?
As in a new bike?
Would look better with black forks i reckon. Think I'll wait for the 400 Bonneville. 🙏
Absolutely!
Is that on the cards? Surely they would have to make it something different in keeping with the smaller bikes from the past
@@the_winged_helm ooh nice!! That will be mega
I've just watched this video. It's the first time coming across your channel. You mentioned short riders. As I'm short myself may I ask your height for comparison, in relation to the bike?
Yes, sorry I should of added this in video. I am 5ft 3. Thanks for watching!
@@pintsizedbiker Cheers Brother, same height! 👍
how about the vibration?
Nothing noticeable. Little tingle but very little
Thanks for the informing
@@kamilkarayavuz7883 you are welcome!
SV650 ..pegs are to high and seat postition makes it uncomfortable
what are your gloves ?
Goldtop Caferacer Gloves 😊
Idk how some guys pref scooter over this beauty
No, that would be an odd choice.
no doubt about it triumph knocked out of the park, I'd like to have seen the scambler more off-road with an upswept exhaust and bash plate and a few weeks, both are available in India as aftermarket parts, plus I do like twin shocks but that's just my person choice for easy servicing and replacement of units, one criticism I do have is the top line, bottom of the tank and seat looks like the bike had been crumpled in a head-on impact, lowering the clearance at the rear wheel would have made that a straight line, perhaps someone will make a new bolt-on subframe giving more seat options, the rear end is high for no reason,
Agreed, twin shocks are much better especially for looks and simplicity. The mono shocks on bikes do pointlessly raise pillion seat which is frustrating for pillion

Good looking bike except exhaust and huge rear mudguard gap for me
The exhaust could certainly be better. Yes I see what you are saying about the gap, normally I complain about that !
Have had a test ride. In my opinion, a great motorcycle.
Thank you for watching, it really is and great value for money!
What's your height?
6"3'
How tall are you?
Hi Alex I am 5ft3 which I think is about 160cm
You make me feel old saying that the bikes were all big when you were a kid. To me those are the new ones, lol.
Haha sorry pal! I saw a 2001 Fazer on front of a classic bike mag yesterday and thought hang on that was like 4 years ago 😂
@@pintsizedbiker my friend's dad always had a honda 750 in th 70s and got a bigger one in the 80s, i want to say 800 but I'm not sure. anyway, those were huge. I've always liked the smaller ones. 400 will be my biggest yet. hey, any idea about maintenance compared to a kawasaki? the new eliminator is the other bike im considering.
I've heard rumors of a Kawasaki 400RS. I thank that would just be great.
and possibly with an inline 4 engine. hope it’s true!!
Yeah, they have the motor they might as well use it. Although the price would be high. I bought the ZX4RR and love it. @@zizizf
That would be excellent, I want to try the ZX4RR, I’ve not ridden a sports bike in quite a few years and it looks like alot of fun! How do you get on with it?
Followed a Ninja 400 up Snake pass, silly quick for 400.
I'm loving it. It is very smooth. The quick shifter works great. I have a 27" inseam so I lowered it about an inch. I put a cheap after market pipe on it and it sounds great. When you get the revs up around 11k it hit a power band and zooms. Around to it is very nice and easy. You can kick it up in neutral from first at a stop with out it going up into second. Great for taking a break in traffic at a light. It is a little heavier the the Ninja 400 but that helps on the interstate. The sound is addictive. @@pintsizedbiker
You forgot to mention the Honda CB300R which Honda have just knocked £650 off the list price.
I totally did! That’s a good shout, how much does that cost now?
I’d love it if it looked like an old CB
@@pintsizedbiker £4,549
The honda has much less power/torque
@@the.communist It crucially also has less weight which is a big plus for me.
Haven’t seen a bad uk review yet
It is very good, you only notice the less power in gear 1-2 but give it plenty beans and it’s ok 👍
@@pintsizedbiker seriously thinking of downsizing from my 1200gs cheaper tax, cheaper insurance, lower running costs pot holed roads speed cameras everywhere
@@timothybrockbank7474 it’s a fair shout. Try one, certainly try on motorway if you can, the feeling from my wrist and ass is it would handle it just fine but try it just in case.
I wonder why?🤣😂😂😂🤣🤣🤣😂😂😂😂😂🤣🤣😂😂😂😂😂😂🤣🤣🤣🤣
@@timothybrockbank7474 i despise gs's
What's with the ridiculous seat height? It should be level with twin shocks, not with it's a** end sticking up in the air.
My only gripe is that they sound horrible😣.
They have got this ' spot on' ... the race reps have long had their day... speed limits coming down everywhere... 40bhp is more than enough... im close.. but the fly by wire throttle puts me off..nim leaning cb300r... even 30bjp is fun on the right roads.. any fool can race down a bypass.. its boring
Will try to get my hands on a CB soon! Or maybe CL
I hate the gold forks, so not retro , even on modern bikes it looks bad , one of my bikes has it :/
Agreed, the more I look at that I’d rather they change it. Same on the Norton
@@pintsizedbiker They make "wrap" for tanks and even car hoods so maybe that stuff would work, IDK .
@@leeinwis good idea, I wonder if they would chip easily from gravel etc?
I love gold forks it really stands out
How much extra cost are the American Stealerships adding to that $4,995, and $5,595? $1,000, $1,500 $1,800. Anybody know?
According to google it’s $4995 dollars which would be over £6k over here so you have it significantly cheaper than Great Britain
MSRP or Price does not include $530 in destination charges.(Set up fees extra, not sure what that is )
Honda CB300R is beautiful little bike, too.
I had meant to mention it but totally forgot 😂
Speed 400, outside India, also made from Triumph factory in Thailand
If your more than 5 9 go with scrambler
That’s me well out😂
Is that a full-sized bike or is he a midget?
People want to hear the bike, not music.
Hey John, yes fair point and thanks for watching! It’s balance though because the light music dulls out the wind noise which despite best efforts isn’t impossible to eliminate, though I am working on it. The first clip had no music the 2nd had it quietly.
I will be doing videos of just pov video of the bikes I have tested. And where possible this will just ambient sound
Black wheels ruin its looks and discoloured downpipes already, very uncool iihmo.
beats me what the bike is ,looks like a bit of that and bit this .
Yes I see what you mean, you could call it a parts in model but the parts are new 😂. I am not sure the gold forks work
Its a smaller speed twin basically.
Can you translate.....I don't speak bloody english
this bike certainly will not do 105 mph.95 maybe.
Made by Bajaj bro😊
