    Awesome job Ray, with you doing the tune everyone can be assured you will pick up HP. I love the work he did on my Gt500 I just wish I had more time for it. God Bless

    A little high 435 hp with pump 93 mid-pipe, JLT intake than again that Cayote engine makes extra hp from Ford assembly. I’am curious if you had the Steeda closed air intake, if you would pick-up more hp&tq. Great content has always, just saying I can’t see the hp&tq on your laptop a bigger screen or zoom closer when showing the graph. Thanks! Ray

      We know those IAT's are suffering in closed hood street driving. I'm staying with the stock intake & high flow drop in until someone proves its stopping me from gaining any more power.

      @drpmotorsports2186 I have a 3rd gen Coyote but this plug n play tuner box you sell, is this an item you pre load a E85 tune, deletes, or just whatever into from your shop and with acquiring I have the JLT air intake, does this device just plug in and pretty much re map the ecu/engine set up, and load it up just as if you were doing it from the laptop in your shop? If so, how much does this plug n play tuner cost? I live in indiana so I'm guessing I'm not local lol. Love your content by the way. Y'all seem like some good ol boys just trying to save us a few bucks back in our pocket and I can appreciate that, thank you so much bubba.

    I bought a used 5.0. How can I tell if it’s tuned? Located in Houston

      @Handledeezdarnit Without a tuner it would be hard to tell. Was there any device plugged into the OBD port? Any obvious modifications done to the engine intake or exhaust?

    I'm more impressed with the stock numbers than the upgrades, lol!
    I get these two mods are the best gain/dollar considering what full exhaust & LT's cost. Any chance you would comment on the argument that the JLT (or any open filter intake) is a better gain on a dyno with the hood open than in real world diving with the hood closed? I appreciate the video, great content as always! 🍻

    • @drpmotorsports2186
      @drpmotorsports2186  Рік тому +2

      The car actually had a K&N drop in oiled cotton filter when it came in. So the JLT improved upon that. The factory airbox doesn't support an open element setup, so you gotta spend money for a new intake anyway if ditch the stock enclosed setup...so a JLT is a good investment. Open hoods make more power on the dyno because the car is not moving. On the road at highway speed, closed hood will catch up to open hood numbers if not exceeding them.

      @@drpmotorsports2186 I really appreciate your insight! I only asked about the open element filter and open hood because my past experience was really high IAT's with hood closed while sitting in traffic with an open element filter, natural heat soak. This seemed to be a burden on "Mexico" street racing from a dig, low mph rolls, and even sitting in the staging lanes at the track. Making numbers, is making numbers regardless. Thanks again!

    Ive been hearing a lot about E85 tunes but finding E85 in Northern KY is pretty rare. Is it easier to find in other states? Im showing 2 gas stations within 50 miles.

    • @drpmotorsports2186
      @drpmotorsports2186  Рік тому +2

      Dynojet 224xLC. Pulls made in 4th gear. MT82 trans. Manual cars make more power on the dyno than autos due to less powertrain loss.
