Reminds me of my 1985 manual suzuki forsa! To think that someone is still driving this is mindblowing! It was a solid and fun car but so underpowered and basic, yet this brings a smile to my face...base manual car are fun, something about the baseness of transport, the purity of the "tool" is friggin awesome...i'm sure i would have fun driving that thing, these kinda cars are going away and that is sad....

I have two Geo Metros, one two door and one four door. I love them both.

I had a ‘95 2 door LSI. It was trouble free, until it was totaled at about 100,000. Very reliable for the time that I had it.

I have 97 Geo Metro. Trying to find parts for this car is hard to find nowadays, I'm talking about interior and exterior things. Trying to keep mine going for a while due to the high gas prices.

all the little creaks, and absense of proper sound insulation add to its character. Love it.

Just getting broken in ! Many have 500,000 miles on the G10. . These motors are easy to overhaul too.

@@timothykeith1367 That car is responsible for everything I now own, and trust me its way more than The geo. At one point I worked in a tech room where the facility had several off site locations several miles away, and noone wanted to do the distance because of the gas, well, that left it up to me, and 800 per month in mileage reimbursements later at a cost of maybe $100 x9 years, im still laughing to the bank while the guys laughed at my "clown car" while they drove their denalis, and escalades etc. 13 mpg vs apx 44. I cant sell it. lolll

@@gollie8776 I like Metros, they are honest cars that are better built than many expensive cars, take care of them and they won't let you down. I'm starting to work on my 350,000 mile Metro, it should run, has been parked. I am plannning to install a JDM motor for it from back them G10 JDM motors were still available. I'm sure the current motor would be inexpensive to overhaul when I decide to do that. The quirk I have had to deal with are the synchros in the five speed can fail, so I always double clutch.

I had one we named Itty-bitty. I didn't get in it, I put it on. I got 47mpg without trying, 55 if I was careful.
