    I had nail ridges, cracked feet, arthritis, etc aging stuff. My issues went away when I went hard core on my health. 2MAD omnivore, low carb Mediterranean-ish, no snacking, fasting 24 hrs per week, 3 days once per month. Work out 5 or 6 days a week, prioritizing sleep. Game changer for this 59 yr old.

    I LOVE his interviewing style. He doesn't let his guest just respond without having them give more details. For example, the Dr. kept saying that a person with xyz symptoms needed more minerals, but she didn't say what type. She went on to talk about fasting and farming. I was very happy when Steven asked her to name some of those minerals!!! ❤

      In summer I also am a customer of organic sellers at the Farmers Market. It gets a little pricey eating organic but I like encouraging local growers. We just do the best we can! And I do use electrolyte drinks and intermittent fasting to try to manage health issues.

    Ya know, I don’t necessarily always want a “bigger guest.” I might want a smaller guest who’s at the forefront of something big, perhaps controversial. I remember reading about the microbiome decades ago when most people didn’t know what it was or thought it was nonsense. Those are the type of people I want to hear from.

    • @TheMookie1590
      @TheMookie1590 Місяць тому

      me too. I like controversial stuff. theres always something interesting. Even like me with a theory Ive been working on for over a decade. about the ancients, because nothing adds up. even more so today with engineering advancements looking back at these ancient structures. and as a man of science, engineering skills, and worked in construction. I know when something is not adding up.
      but comes down to these structures are most likely 40K years old, they cant date stone. they date it by a cargo cult that found them and graffitied them. the local people in Egypt say they are a people going back 40k years. which is ignored.
      everything they built is based on the penta musical scale, a natural traversal pattern of notes, its found in the human voice too.
      ancient flutes have been found dating near 40k years old as well, also using penta scale.
      harmonic based technology was their main tech line.
      they didnt have language. would be more like throat singing. I can do this too. language is the part that drives thinking. so instead of slow words. they could communicate with throat singing and send data packets with vibrations from their vocals. you could communicate with others 100X the speed. and think in this manner.
      frequency can manipulate matter and make geometric patterns that also transverse.
      And that they were the Neanderthals. this hominoid actually had larger brains that we do, and different throat autonomy. They say they went extinct. 40k years ago.
      I have ASD and have always been able to throat sing with 3 notes at once. it came naturally. Found out people with ASD, have more Neanderthal DNA in them then those without ASD.
      And other things like how myths and ancient texts talk about the ancient peoples chanting to manipulate matter and what not, build things, "speak" things into existence. this isnt evidence, but a funny connection.
      We know 100% they were advanced. recent scans of saw marks found alloy deposits under electron microscope.
      and after 40,000 years. there will be nothing left. if we all dissapeared today. in 10k years there wil be nothing, except the pryamids.
      Im probably a nut case. But more and more evidence adds up for this. Would explain why there is no written language at all. no tech like we have. But the more Ive tried to ignore this idea of mine. somehow I will be minding my own business. learning something irrelevant. and then it leads me to another piece when I thought I forgot about this.

My hair is slow to grow longer. I don't drink alcohol anymore but, when I did, I would get tipsy and drunk very quickly. I have some dry and cracked skin on the soles of my feet, mostly on my heels and at the tops of my feet. No yellowness at the inner corners of my eyes, thankfully! As I said, I am a contradiction.

Unfortunately, some will only last a month while 2-3 will last two months. This is not something I can maintain. Especially when I still need a few other supplements. I looked at selenium and knew I should have gotten it, but I knew the bill was already high. A Vegan showed up in my life and I listened and saw my money was being used to torture the Innocent- I went Vegan...I bought my fruits & Vegetables from the supermarket...within 2 months my body healed COMPLETELY - my doctor couldn't speak when he saw my after Vegan blood tests. Im 65 now and I can run, pick up and carry a 20kg bag of seed for my rescued chickens - I dont eat their eggs...their lives are one with Nature not for human minds to use & abuse.
    I recently moved 4 ton of logs and many were massive...Im 4ft 9cm and weigh 46kg. I walk 70-80 km a week with my 53 kg bull mastiff.
    I started taking a Vegan multi vitamin 2 years ago because I noticed my hair was drying which was also due to stupidily having perms. (they worked immediately- they say vitamins take months to work...well, Vegan ones work instantly)
    I've always eaten some organic vegetables. My intention is to move and grow 80% of my fruit & Vegetables. I belong to a Vegan permicultre website. I grow all my own foods (atm not much) in organic Mushroom soil recommended by a non vegan fruit & Vegetables farmer.

      What do I eat you ask. "Raw til 4" is a vegan eating plan designed by two Australian vegans.
      Basically its fruit for breakfast and lunch....and or juices. Dinner is rice or potatoes for the most part. Large amounts. up to 3 or 4 lbs of potatoes. once a week vegan pizza or pasta. He has about 4 pies in one sitting. She shows herself eating a whole pound of pasta in one sitting. IF, and only if.....you are doing a really good amount of exercising. Bike riding/jogging...rebounding. etc.
      I'm currently just juicing all day....and for dinner just squash (which is a fruit.) I needed a detox to get prescription drugs out of my body....so I wanted it to work quickly the carbs and potatoes would slow the process down. The have videos just search "Raw til 4" Durianrider and Freelee; no longer together but there are tons of videos. You just have to understand they did long periods of time completely raw so their metabolisms are fast.

      @Mrpanino123 Місяць тому

      @@vanitagomes3794people can get all essential nutrients from fatty meat. Little to no carb. Little to no fiber is generally more beneficial to anyone compared to any other diet. However, strict carnivore can be very hard to do and someone can be vegan and be healthy but it does require significant supplementation and ensuring you get the full spectrum of essential amino acids.
      Also with vegan or a heavy focus on grains/ plants you have to be very careful not to poison yourself with chemicals and metals.
      I have primarily beef, lamb, or deer(if I can get one) but add in small amount of low glycemic fruits like blueberries on occasion. I also make my own Greek yogurt (unsweetened). If I need carbs for let’s say a crazy long backpacking day I like to add in some nuts. I have less than 50 carbs a day and in general this hasn’t impacted long duration or short duration, intense activity.
      Also if you’re still reading, be skeptical of foods that advertise plant based or keto. This can be true without the product being healthy at all.
      In short, protein and healthy fats are good. Eliminate most processed foods. Have less carbs.
      Healthy fats like nice olive oil, coconut oil, ghee are my favorites but also standard grass fed butter.
      High cholesterol is not bad - high “big partical” ldl with insulin resistance due to high carb high sugar diet is bad. Check A1c, hdl to triglyceride ratio when getting blood work done - don’t out emphasis on total cholesterol as indicator of cardiovascular health.
      I don’t have notifications on so I won’t see if people respond. I would just say anyone who is skeptical of carnivore, get your blood work done, do carnivore without cheating for 3 months and get your blood work done again as well as document in generalities how you feel. The best I ever felt in my adult life was the 3 months I did full carnivore with no cheating.

      Ridges on your nails are largely genetic. It’s a bit like saying my hair has been brown my whole life so I mustn’t be getting enough minerals because another person’s hair is blonde. I l’d take everything she said with a healthy dose of skepticism. If the ridges appear over time, or become more pronounced, you may need to look at your mineral intake - but many ppl just have vertical ridges because that’s the way they were born. If in doubt, you may like to consider getting a blood test to see if you are low in any minerals.

      Friend were the fruits and veggies truly organic? Do you have all the minerals to process fruits and vegetables? Like if you lack certain nutrients you won't produce enough stomach acid and then you could have too much bad bacteria that can create irritation/inflammation/ulcers. All meat can be great but make sure you don't get zinc overloaded and miss out on copper. Seafood can have a lot of copper but its so high in zinc it cancels the copper out. Bound copper rules so many important mechanisms in the body BUT if you're missing vitamin A (retinol from animal/cod liver oil) then your body can't process the copper and it can end up rogue and oxidizing and creating havoc. Also remember if you're eating regular fruits and vegetables you got to be mindful that RoundUp GlysPhosphates are prolly being used, that chelates mienrals out of the weeds to kill them and then you eat the produce and you're getting minerals chelated out. Then in time you end up on various prescription drugs for high blood pressure, high chilesteral and in ten years on statins you end up diabetes 2 and maybe another few decades chemo pills, etc..guess what, these all long-term can deplete minerals from your body.

      They certainly won't do any harm. Fasts will only help. A few months ago, I had yellow in the inner corner of my eyes and now I don't. I fast all the time: on average, 20-22 hours every day, 7 days p/w.

      The body needs a certain amount of carbs to function. The brain needs the glucose from carbs to function properly. Btw, I also had a similar experience when I tried to cut out carbs entirely. My blood pressure was fine, but I was badly constipated and tired. I felt ill. I eat 'good carbs' most days, like bananas and potatoes. 🙂But my diet is largely ketogenic.
