What are your favorite Tony Stewart victories?
2011 Ford 400
2016 Toyota Save/Mart 350
His final one in 2016 at sonoma
2011 Ford 400 and 2016 Sonoma
Martinsville
2011 Ford 400
Tony Stewart is also the only driver to win a Winston, Nextel, and Sprint championship.
A fact often lost on most fans that needs more mentioning.
Nextel and Sprint were practically the same thing, just a different name!
@@Cole-ul2xh True, but the points formats were different.
Only driver to win a championship from dead last in the points also!!
Only people I can think of with different title sponsor is Kyle Busch & Jimmie Johnson. Kyle Busch won in Sprint & Monster Energy. And Jimmie Johnson won in Nextel & Sprint.
Never was a big Smoke fan, but his run at Homestead in 2011 is one of the best races I've ever seen on an individual level. It was absolutely astonishing.
The 2011 Championship win and his final win top my list. Those two were memorable.
[Home Depot theme intensifies]

Tony Stewart: *Wins*
Random Tony Stewart fan: *Vibes to Home Depot music after sed win*
Nascar bust, denny hamlin. Heehhehehehe
Bubba is gonna carry 23-11 racing
@@edwuncleriii1922 prob when denny retires, maybe
@@chibby__ chibby, hehehehe
Tony’s rookie year along with others around that time makes me miss how we used to have competent rookies old enough with enough experience to be competitive without 2-4 throwaway years.
Giving these guys more time to develop would imo make the other series (xfinity/trucks) even better as well. Guys like Chase Elliott and Kyle Busch are the exceptions, not the rule when it comes to young drivers
*sigh* it hurts to see him not get the prestigious 500 win, 20 Daytona victories, but 0 500 ones...
He was soooo close in 2008. I remember that ending so vividly. Now I wanna cry 😭
@@DerrickRG Yup. He shoulda went down, blocked Busch and immediately went back to the top. He blocks Newman and Newman loses his momentum and no one can get passed. It's gg's 😕
he was leading for a good bit in 2007 too, if only he hadn't hit the apron and kurt busch hadn't hit him
Fellow Cup Series champions without a Daytona 500 win: Rusty Wallace, Kyle Busch, Brad Keselowski, Martin Truex, Jr, and the Labonte brothers.
Cesaar, 4 Daytona victories, NOT 20. Dale Sr has the record for most victories at Daytona. Talladega also.
My all time favorite win has to be his first Brickyard win. Being a Tony fan, I was so happy for him it was like I won it.
It was awesome. I was in Turn 4 that day. The whole crowd was cheering, and I mean everyone. Not one person left that race unhappy with the results. You could hear the crowd roar from the broadcast. The announcers, Dallenbach, Parsons, and Weber were pretty quiet. I think everyone knew what it meant to him.
@@computiNATEor I know it meant the world to Tony. I'm very glad he got 2 wins there.
@@FlakMonky20k I managed to be there for both of them, haha.
DW being completely wrong at 11:05 is pure chef's kiss.
As a die hard Tony Stewart Fan I would say I approve. My favorite memory was 2011 I live in Michigan and about 10 miles away from MIS was a brand new Office Depot so for part of the marketing they had his Back up car at the parking lot for the weekend so I got to sit in it get pictures and everything well part of the deal was you got a diecast for any purchase so we bought somethings for our office and I got the diecast and on the way out I didn't meet Stewart but if I remember correct it was Newman who I got to meet and sign my diecast definitely a fun experience and the race was great since I saw that in person.
My first ever race was when I was on vacation at Daytona in 2012 and he won
@@tonystewartfan2014 Man that's lucky I only been to the 2011 and 2009 June Races at Michigan so I saw Mark Martin win in 2009 and Denny in 2011
I was there for the 2009 Coke Zero right beside the flag stand, and I’ve never in my life heard a crowd explode into cheers that loud when Busch got wrecked. Fans were so loud I could feel it in my chest.
As a smoke fan, from the Charlottesville area, it was special af for me in 2009 to see him in person win that All Star Race. I was sitting on the old grandstands on the backstretch out of turn 2 that doesn't exist anymore. I was also 9 years old at the time of that race.
Whether you like him or hate him, you have to respect the talent Tony had
Chibby, TS talent is still there, PUTZ.
I loved Tony because he not only talked the talk but he could walk the walk. He is one of the most entertaining guys on and off the track. I will always be a lifelong fan of Tony Stewart and I can't wait to see the SRX take off.
2006 Pepsi 400 beating Said! I ran to the start finish line, gave him a hug and briefly put on my Stewart hat. My parents just got divorced, and feeling sad my mother drove us from Texas to Daytona to watch my childhood hero go back to back at Daytona. I’ll never forget
The two victories that top my list include his final win & the 2011 championship. That 3rd title was something else to watch, I'm so glad I was able to witness that live.
Thank you so much for making this video. I cried when Tony won at Sonoma in 2016. The first race I ever remember watching (eventhough I know I watched races before) was the 2008 Daytona 500, that still hurts. I love Tony, so much and when I was younger my dream was to some day drive for him. Could technically still happen but even more unlikely lol. Love ya Smoke!
The 2011 Homestead Race was incredible. I was both a Carl Edwards fan and a Tony Stewart fan. I wanted Carl to win his 1st championship but then the way Tony raced his way through the field won the race, and the championship through a tiebreaker was just incredible. Thought no big deal Carl would come back and win one soon...
My dad got to see Tony’s first win at Richmond, he talks about how tony was in IRL and coming over to NASCAR and impressed he was
My favorites are the 2011 Ford 400, 2005 Brickyard 400 and Pepsi 400. 2016 Sonoma the one that made me cry. And the 2008 Aaron’s 312 nationwide race at Talladega only cause Smoke is my all time favorite driver and I was there
That last one, honestly imo best fight for the title period. I sorta like the new points where its 4 drivers fighting for the championship makes it like anyone guess on who's gonna win I feel. But nothing will ever beat the 2011 season Chase where Tony won half the Chase races and won by a tiebreaker. I think that's a first in Modern Nascar that I can remember, I was actually rooting for Tony to win the championship when it was just down to him and Carl.
This series is🔥! Keep em coming!
This is sorta off-topic, but only sorta: I was actually really mad when I heard EA was only making a Wii shovelware kart racing game to close out their time with the NASCAR license in 2009, because I was actually really looking forward to _NASCAR 10_ even despite how lackluster their last game or two had been, because of how much had changed in the sport between 2008 and 2009 - chief among the reasons being, I wanted to drive as Tony Stewart's awesome new #14 team! :P
Nascar Kart Racing. It's on my all time favorite list of games, over a decade later.
I love all his wins but that 2005 Brickyard 400 win was everything for me as a Tony Stewart fan. Tony was my childhood hero and watching him achieve his childhood dream was just a sight beyond belief.
Same feelings here man. But nothing will ever top the emotions of watching that 2011 Finale. I remember my dad and I never got up from our chairs and just on the edge of our seats just praying he’d hold Edwards off and the pure joy of him taking the checkered flag was something I just haven’t forgotten. I was 11 years old and now at 20 it still gives me the same feeling every time I watch that clip
Tony's best win and one of Allen Bestwick's best "coming to the finish line" calls both happened in the same race
i'd like to see top 10 "coming to the finish line" calls by Allen Bestwick. 2011 Homestead, 2002 Charlotte-2, 2004 Daytona 500, 2012 DRIVE4COPD 300, 2001 Pepsi 400...there have to be more iconic calls by him
In my family, Stewart was one of the favorites. My aunt and grandmother were Stewart fans, while my great aunt was a Bobby Labonte fan and my great-grandmother was a Earnhardt fan (both Sr and Jr). Everyone else pretty much filed in behind them, except me cause my favorite was Kasey Kahne. But Stewart was still one of my favorites to watch and his 2005 season is the one I remember best.
That white paint scheme at Daytona is one of my favorites, absolutely loved that one
My favorite win was August 7, 2005 at the the Brickyard. Loved it so much I paid my extra $25 to personalize my license plate that night. It has been my license plate ever since.
I remember seeing Tony race Bristol. Came from 2 laps down to win the race. I was glued to the TV for 2 hours watching him pass driver after driver. Got both his laps back and then came from the back to take 1st place. I'd never seen anything like it before. Amazing driving skill!
That 2005 Brickyard win was the first Nascar race I ever attended, and Stewart is my favorite driver. My mom's family is from that area of Indiana. Every single fan there was so happy for him. A very memorable day.
Ah. Robby just couldnt help but messing with the lap car.
High end talent, terrible race craft.
@@frevazz3364 i have to agree. I love robbie but he was his own worst enemy at times.
@@alanluscombe8a553 bad temper cost him so many times
love these videos !
Honestly, I think you should have included his win at the 1999 Pennzoil 400, since it marked the third win of his rookie season, breaking Davey Allison's record of wins for a NASCAR rookie.
He’s of the OG racers and he’s one of my favorite alongside the mayor rocketman etc
great list...great driver
I think his three rookie wins where quite impressive in 99,but this top 10 list was quite impressive
The 2011 Ford 400 is making all the lists lately. TBH it is probably the best race I ever watched live on TV.
Imagine being a Denny Hamlin fan and watching Tony Stewart push your driver out of the way to win one last time... *oh wait....*
Imagine being a Denny Hamlin fan
(It’s a joke Denny’s cool)
Despite the fact that I am a Hamlin fan, I still enjoy what smoke did, got back at Denny for what he did three corners earlier (I think three corners)
And here this year denny wrecks someone for his final win
His 2004 Glen win is very underrated. The guy was dealing with food poisoning yet dominated that race! To this day, that was one of the gutsiest performances in NASCAR I can remember.
2009 All star. Easily one of the greatest races and wins for Stewart even though it didn’t qualify for this list.
In 2005, when he spun from the lead at Watkins Glen while battling Jeff Gordon and came back to win it.
That 2005 season was a rollercoaster
Tony Stewart my favourite racer in NASCAR
Tony's Sonoma win is my absolute favorite.
Another video idea could be a top 10 or 20 helmet tosses, Smoke has a few good ones haha
Thanks Jaret ive been waiting for this for a while
I dont even care that im first
Yet im typing this
Hell yeah been waiting for this one, even has what I think is his unofficial theme for this channel, a royalty free beat but a banger.
liked video 👍🏁🏆
I love all of tony Stewart wins
Is Kyle Busch crashing at the end foreshadowing that your going to do Kyle Visch next?
Me: *Notices a Top 10 list of my favourite driver* 👀😁😀
He may have never won the Daytona 500, but he damn sure made those Brickyards feel like it
Matt Strouse, no Daytona 500 win but he won at Daytona 4 summer races.
Top 10 Kevin Harvick Wins
You should do top 10 team wins, such as top 10 Hendrick or Penske wins.
His last win was awesome.
I was heartbroken for him until that final corner
Damn I miss the Home Depot sponsorships
You know what would be interesting a video showcasing a drivers most disappointing losses or the top 10 most disappointing losses. Like Jeff at martinsville when the track came up, or Denny with the tape at Homestead, Logano at martinsville in 15, Dibenedetto at Bristol, Elliot at Dover 3 years ago ex.
As a Tony fan I agree with this list fully, that 2011 title hunt was my favorite my two favorite drivers going for the title Carl and Tony it was fucking awesome!
Very good choice To my opinion
my favorite tony stewart win was when i was 15 years old, and saw my favorite driver win in person, 2012 coke zero sugar 400!
Watkins Glen 2004 definitely should've made the list.
Solid list. Hard to go against homestead. BUT without martinsville you wouldn't of seen tony on a roll in homestead. I believe you forgot to mention the most impressive part of martinsville was him racing the leader to maintain not going a lap down, he improved, and in like two restarts was there - it was just insane and out of nowhere!! Literally at every race he won you could go to the halfway mark and martinsville 2011 would have to seem the most unlikely lol. I also liked the sonoma 2001 inclusion as a solid random.
I say the 2005 Sirius Satellite at The Glen, which was his most dominant race. Leading 83 of the 92 laps, Tony was 2 seconds faster than the rest of the field during practice. So dominant was he at that race, the only laps Tony didn't lead were because of pit stops.
I already knew #1 before clicking
Every single one of Tony's wins💞👏
That 2009 Coke Zero finish is insane, lol.
Can you do Matt Kenseth in the future he's my all time favorite driver
Do Happy Harvick next!
Can you do top 10 Matt kenseth wins?
Glad to see Sonoma appear twice
Real Smoke fans will know that Sonoma Win is #1 i was so happy when it happened
2011 Ford 400 and 2016 Toyota Savemart 350 were my favorite Tony Stewart victories
Best driver in the history of motor sports
I was there for #2! I am a Gordon fan, but my grandpa was a Stewart fan. So watching Stewart win was still cool as hell! Just not the conversation with my grandpa after lol.
So was I! Haha. I sat in turn 4. It was my first Nascar race :)
My favorite tony stewart wins are the 2005 brickyard 400 and the 2011 ford 400
I miss the Nextel/Sprint Cup those were some of the best years
I mean, we all knew the number 1 on this list lol. But its true, homestead 2011 is one of the best races ever. Im not a Stewart fan, but i respect him a lot, a hell of a driver, and a very funny guy. I miss him, since he is part of my childhood.
Not many people bring up his Martinsville 2011 win. He was going to get lapped around 140 laps to go and basically made up a whole lap to win the race.
There's another part from the Martinsville win in 2011 that is often overlooked. Tony had to race his butt off to not get lapped for like 40 laps while he was running 16th. If he had gotten lapped, he wouldn't have won that day, and wouldn't have won the championship that year.
I got a video idea for you iceberg how about showing a video on why NASCAR fans are just as passionate for the sport as the drivers are showing Clips like the old man calling out Denny Hamlin for dumping Chase Elliott and numerous other incidences were fans showed their complete compassion for their favorite driver I believe you can help shine a light on the fan base of NASCAR and why we are dying like baseball fan base
Man, I used to hate this guy. I can't get enough of him now.
I think you should do top 10 Matt kenseth wins
11:40 I don’t remember that Kahne paint scheme. Probably because I try to forget about that season as much as possible.
I think that was a one-off
Y’all forget that Tony was a lap down for a majority of the 2011 Martinsville race. That car was junk until the end.
Do Dale Earnhardt's top 10 wins.
Dale is deserving of a bigger list then 10
It just doesn’t feel right that Tony never got a Daytona 500 seeing how insanely good he was there. He always had that 79-97 Earnhardt luck there
How many Daytona 300's in the xfinity series did Tony win again?
@@theultimatekfbfan2721 7
@@88fanforlife wow that's alot
Always wild that the 500 was the one that always got him. If I recall correctly he was the 2nd winningest driver at Daytona overall as well.
@@ajg.6839 wow
Out of all these wins there are no Daytona 500 wins for Tony Stewart unfortunately, just regular Daytona wins but not the 500. Overall still lots of great wins throughout Stewart’s career
Hard to believe Tony actually only won 1 of the 4 Crown Jewel Races as they put it in Nascar. Never Won the Daytona 500, Never won the Coke 600 ( Close a couple times), and never won Darlington.
Since the chase era, Tony Stewart holds the record for winning the championship with the fewest wins (2005- 0 wins) and the most wins (2011- 5 wins) during the chase.
Tony Stewart NASCAR all wins
2005 Pepsi 400 was my favorite Stewart win he didn't just win he dominated won the pole led all but 9 laps I don't think anyone else has done that in that race since and of course he did the fence climb for the first time.
Do a Top 10 Kevin harvick wins
5 wins at Watkins glen 🍻
Nailed it!
5:15 Watkins Glen 2004 has entered the chat
Lol. I was surprised it wasn't on the list. I remember watching that race on TV and figured he had a major issue. That car was so dominate the whole day and after the incident happened he was probably like well forget it, no sense it getting out now... (He crapped his pants and still won the race for those that don't know.)
CHAMPION
The one dislike is from Carl about #1
00:20 cup paying points win
That Pocono win was huge. People were saying why go to that crap Haas team but he changed that team.
Top 10 Matt Kenseth Wins next, or Top 10 Dale Earnhardt Wins
