God I love the 60FPS broadcast uploads.
pro trick : you can watch series on InstaFlixxer. Been using them for watching a lot of movies these days.
@Gage Vincenzo definitely, I've been using InstaFlixxer for since november myself :D
Bob, Benny and Ned, The three just clicked together. Love these classic races and RIP Benny
I agree with you
Was really cool seeing Dale Earnhardt come to congratulate Tony. Could see them in the background when they were interviewing Joe Gibbs. I was still a big Earnhardt fan then but when we lost him, I jumped to Stewart.
Me too. I went from Davey, to Ernie, to Dale, and then Tony Stewart.
He has always been a worthy driver.
Yes it was
That 99 Exide car just beautiful
I counted 5 drivers in this race that are no longer with us. Earnhardt, Irwin, Andretti, Hamilton and Trickle. RIP
me to
I like the mini recap of the previos races. I think they should do this again
so do I
God I love the old school ESPN music and commentators. #RIPBenny
Most laps that Tony Stewart ever led in a race (333). Surprisingly, it was during his rookie season! Even the most races he won in a season came in 2000 (6). You just knew with a hot start like that, he was gonna be one of the tough guys, & he showed it 💪🏻
This race was also Dale Jr.'s 1st career Top 10, in just his 4th start.
11 year old me was sitting in turn 4 during this race!
Me , my dad and 9 year old son went to this race (my son's first). I'm a Terry Labonte fan and my so is a Bobby Labonte fan. I talked my son into getting a Tony Stewart ball cap and T-shirt because Tony & Bobby were team mates and it would be a change from having all Bobby Labonte stuff. When Tony won, all the fans were high 5-ing my son like he had won the race! 🏁 Needless to say , he was smiling from ear to ear! Thanks Tony!
Y'all should do this a lotmore because I love re-watching these races that I had to play with the bunny ears in order to watch crystal clear
Before anyone starts... DO NOT COMPLAIN about NASCAR posting the name of the driver who won the race!!! Just be thankful that they are taking the time to post these races. This is a time consuming project to this for it's fans. NASCAR used to have the most loyal fans on all of sports. Now if seems, if everything isn't exactly how you like all you do is complain. How about let's get back to supporting our drivers, teams, and sport who are who are some of the most generous athletes in all of sports!
Thank you NASCAR and the NASCAR UA-cam team for taking the time and effort for doing this!! Could it be possible to post the 1996 Die Hard 500? The 2nd race at Talladega that year. Jeff Gordon was the winner, but it was also the race that Dale Earnhardt was injured so badly. This race was tape delayed bc of weather and golf and then the race was shortened due to darkness.
Thank you bunches!!!

Great archive footage. Thanks NASCAR for upload.
1999 was another year in NASCAR history for Joe Gibbs Racing. Former Indycar champion Tony Stewart won the Exide NASCAR Select Batteries 400, in the #20 Home Depot Pontiac Grand Prix.
The quality of this is amazing
Please keep doing this I love watching old races from the 80’s-90’s
I agree
My NASCAR days. I miss these days so much. I stopped watching sometime around 2010.
Please do every race you have throughout the 90s into the 00s and 80s and some 70s just them all cause they look beautiful. Miss this NASCAR.
Around 4:50 they mention the old pit road disadvantage at Darlington. That got me thinking, why don't we bring that back where possible? It adds extra meaning to qualifying and race strategy for those stuck there.
WOW, never new Smoke's first win was at my hometrack...
Baby Tony. I forgot how young he looked when he started.😂 Go Smoke!!!! I miss Tony on the track.
That 99 car omg!! 😍
Paint scheme looks lit, the Taurus though, not so much
Please keep it up with the classic race uploads. Thank you.
As a Smoke fan, this is awesome
Man i wish people on stands would do this flashes thing again, it looked so great during night racing}
i know people use smarphones now days, but maybe people would make something to emulate those flesh lights
The stadium could pass out cheap film cameras and the fans could take pictures at the start
flesh lights hahahahahahahahahahahaha
Nascar, I can't thank you enff for loading these races in HD. Y'all the real hero's
Thank you NASCAR!
This is awesome!
Bob Ned and Benny were three great commentators in Nascar and this is an awesome first win Tony Stewart got in Nascar and thank you for uploading this
This was 44 days B.M (Before me) glad I can still watch
The BEST 13th birthday present ever, from MY CHILDHOOD HERO, Tony
1994 Coca-Cola 600 Next
Bob, Benny, Ned, Dr. Punch, John Kernan made watching NASCAR enjoyable. They took it seriously and had a laugh every now and then. Fast forward to FOX, we get consistent pre-race shows of Chris, Jeff, Darrell, Michael, Larry and others (excluding Mike Joy) acting like children.
60 FPS? I LOVE IT!
Watched this race from the hospital, had broken ribs and a punchered lung, good times😂, Same age as Tony and Jeff,. Grew up 30 miles away from Tony , about 100 from Jeff.
1999 was arguably one of the best seasons
Another great upload.
THANK YOU NASCAR!!!!!!!!
This race in 60 fps is something special
Who else waiting for Daytona 500
Me
The highligt was the pre-race coverage of Jarrett and the Quality Care Taurus!
NASCAR, can you please release this ESPN starting grid music?
These NASCAR boys was wildin’ back in the day. Of course this was before a lot of the safety rules took the fun out of it
Miss this era
Damn, that is some shiny asphalt
When NASCAR was awesome. Now it’s borderline unwatchable thanks to drunk Brian and his cronies.
Hey, atleast it's looking better without the drunk there
I believe you have my stapler Brian France has been out of NASCAR since summer 2018.
Shilpi326 The damage was done before 2018
I believe you have my stapler Yes, but hopefully someone competent can make the right decisions and get NASCAR back on track.
I wish they didn't have a spoiler in the title.
Can't wait for the Daytona 500 next month
Im still surprised Mike Skinner had 0 point paying wins
I bet you $10 that there gonna upload Dale Earnhardt Jr's first win next
I’ll take that bet
Or Jeff first win
Was this the spring race or the fall
👍
stewarts first win was at dover....wasnt it.
Early squad
Why did you spoil the winner in the title?
Skinner had a top quality RCR car..he just wasn’t good enough to win..
Can you guys please stop putting who won the race in the title?
ESPN in the '90s was the god tier station for auto racing. Nothing has come close since. Too bad NASCAR is complete and utter shit these days as well.
Can you not put winner in title please? I dont remember who won so it would be like new.
First
Americans can't stand Tony... Becareful you don't Ruin NASCAR bringing him up!!
