- Dale Earnhardt is one of the greatest athletes in the history of sports. With the 20 year anniversary of his death being this year many are talking about that moment. But today I want to look back at a more cheerful subject, his best wins. This is the top 10 Dale Earnhardt wins.

What is your favorite Dale Earnhardt win?
98 daytona, i didnt like his 99 bristol win because he wrecked labonte to win
2000 Winston 500, the final of his career
2000 No bull 500
2000 Winston 500
1998 Daytona 500
_“20 years of trying, 20 years of frustration”_
I think we all know this is the *number #1 Dale Earnhardt win*
It should be disqualified since that win is too overpowered...
Earnhardt’s Atlanta win in 2000 made him the first and only four decade winner in the cup series
The 2000 Talladega win will always be #1 for me. It was his Magnum Opus and exhibited just about everything that made him great. I finally became an Earnhardt fan that day with that win. It’s a shame that it was his last.
The Iceberg: *uploads* *this* *video*
RC RACER88: *all* *of* *them*
Well that is true nothing wrong with that
The Kellogg's #5 will forever remain one of the best liveries to me
Hell, what he did in that Talladega race at the end is something us NASCAR video game players have been trying to replicate every game since let alone talk about it
NASCAR fans: Mike Skinner
Grand Tour fans: *IT'S THE AMERICAN!*
Dale: Terry Labonte is in front of me with 1 to go
Also Dale: *aggressive goes around*
His top 10 wins would be #1 on every other list
2000 Winston 500 by far is my favorite it’s amazing to see how talented he was and it showed in those final laps to do what he did was incredible. If I had to choose a close runner up it was the 99 Bristol win he won that race on my 14th birthday talk about a good present seeing your hero win on your birthday. I remember hearing an interview with Earnhardt and Ned Jarrett I think in 97 and I remember Ned saying “I think Dale Earnhardt is the best driver to ever drive in NASCAR” he was and still is the best to ever drive in NASCAR and they’ll never be another one like him
1998 Daytona 500. Nuff said.
And this Thursday we will relive it when nascar put up that race on their channel. Bring the Kleenexs, I know I will.
#2 I never forget those words from the late Benny persons: how did he pass all those cars?!
"When they boo me on Sunday I go to the bank on Monday" - Earnhardt
I bought the top 2 on this list on DVD when nascar.com was selling it years ago. I still break them out and watch 'em from time to time. I get goosebumps at "Every man, from every crew..." is uttered to this day.
One of the greatest of all time... the #3 of Dale Earnhardt
The greatest all-time
I have not watched the vid but i know what race is #1
Bill Elliot's rant after the pass in the grass will never not be funny to me
So much fucking Salt
I bet if Earnhardt himself made this list #1 would be his son's first win
If he were making a list of his sons wins perhaps
I would say #1 would be his son winning the 2004 Daytona 500.
As a huge Sr fan back in the day, I would have to put the 2000 Winston 500 at #1. I rank it right up there with the 1992 Hooters 500 as one of the best races in NASCAR history.
Without looking at the list I’m gonna have to say the 98 500 would be #1.
Dale earnhardt last win race was my favorite
It wasn't a win but the 1979 Daytona 500 is very important too, when he took the lead, he was introduced to a lot of people.
Video hasn't even started but already liked because this is about to be a holy banger
3:33 Jaret rickrolled us
Daytona of course. We love you and miss you so much. I hope he's racing in heaven. Love you Dale Sr.
I have to say that Dale Sr's Daytona 500 win is bigger than all 7 of his Championships
Iceberg, your videos are exceptional.
Hey Iceberg.
Just wanted to say that as someone in Australia who was a teenager in the 90's (I'm 40 now) who used to watch the VERY few NASCAR races that where ever on our 4 TV channels back then with my Late Father, your videos are amazing.
I have very found memories of my Dad explaining to me how these Races were run (we had no frame of reference until the Calder Park Thunderdome and even then we were in Sydney, not Melbourne)
I didnt get it then, but i am in LOVE with NASCAR and its history now.
Thank you for what you do.
I get it now
Great video! You've been killing it lately! Look up Earnhardt vs Bodine at Riverside if you want to see the actual pass in the grass
You should do top 10 Danica Patrick wins
LOL
Wait… why is the video 0 seconds long?
😅😅
how about top 10 reasons you have no brain cells
Just.. thank you!
'85 Bristol should be here too. The guy lost power steering about 100 laps apparently and still won.
Fantastic list down memory lane. Cant argue with your picks!
Hearing these clips of these older broadcasts are great. Those broadcasters, Bob Jinkins, Jerry Punch, Benny Parsons, they told the story of what was happening in the race without screaming and trying to anticipate what will happen. Today's broadcasting crews would improve greatly by doing the same. Tell the story of the race without getting over excited and screaming into the mic.
Next person to do a video like this for Richard Petty
RE: No.10: is that the finish Kevin Harvick and Jeff Gordon wound up reenacting the next year, right down to the 2nd place guy going on to win the cup?
I understand underselling how impressive some of these wins were to keep the video from dragging out too long. Like at Phoenix how he took the lead on the 1st pit stop and was not passed the rest of the race--arguably the last time in NASCAR history you'll see a race with exactly 1 lead change (yes, technically Jeff Burton did it at New Hampshire in 2000, but he took the lead on the opening lap). Also how Terry had fresh tires at Bristol because DW had spun him out coming to the last caution.
You mentioned the 1993 DieHard 500, which definitely could have been on this list. I'll argue that race was the most underrated plate race of all-time between all of the stories connected to that race (the Davey Allison memorial, Jimmy Horton over the wall in turn 1, Neil Bonnett's return, etc.) and then the dramatic finish.
A couple races that should have arguably replaced 9 and 10 on your list were the 1985 Valleydale 500 (where Dale loses his power steering about 100 laps into a race at Bristol, still leads the most laps, then wins a duel with Ricky Rudd at the end) and the 1994 AC Delco 500 (when he clinched his 7th title with a win at Rockingham).
Dale's win in 1998 to take the checkered flag after 20 years of trying. Dale was and always be our man. He brought it home in 1998. After Dale passed we left Nascar. The Oppermans from Texas will always love and miss you Dale Earnhardt Sr, your devoted fans forever
Ya boi pumping out content with just a slight Earnhardt bias. Love it
2000 Winston 500 is my favorite
Jaret just had to do one more watch Iceberg.com video before the season
All those wins couldn’t be placed any better!
lucky to see 4 of them live as a kid😅
I was lucky enough to see him win at Indy in person. But the 500 win will always be the best.
Without Earnhardt, we won’t have as many memorable moments and a huge figure of the sport in the 80s and 90s. Number 1 is very obvious without even finishing the entire video.
When Dale Sr spun Labonte that night the entire crowd Boo'd him. It was a turning point in his intimidator persona.
When I got the notifications that the video was uploaded, I knew what number 1 was
Just came back from a livestream of his #1 win
Last win at Talledaga was the best for me.
Old Country* Store Jaret 😂
Mr. Ice Berger who do u want to win the Bush clash tonight
I was a 14 year old in 2000 who loved Mike Skinner, and the spring Atlanta race & Winston 500 devastated me. Rewatching the clips today I understand their place in history and their importance to Dale's legacy... but goddamn it I still get triggered & still think if Mike won one of those races, his RCR tenure & Winston Cup career would've ended differently. Fucking glory hound already won 75 races, he couldn't push his teammate to his first - and likely only - Winston Cup win?! Plus I bet taxes ate up most of that Winston million dollar bonus anyway! He probably spent what was left of it in Teresa too! [/illogical rant]
There’s a podcast Dale Jr. Does and Mike Skinner was on it and talked about being Dales “teammate”
Definitely watch it! It’s a great video!
I love the 3 man

Rick Mast was ready to take out the entire field if he had to to make sure no one passed Dale.
That Bristol night race where he dumps labonte is an all time great race.
Top 10 earnhardt wins:
10 - 1: all of them. All of them are his best
Only mistake he made was not wearing the HANS device
Do top 10 Dale Jr wins
He already did that.
Next Top 10 Wins: Matt Kenseth
I have a diecast of his 1980 championship with car #2
DÆL!
Not my favourite. But winning Bristol without broken power steering should be on this list.
I think I already know what the last one is gonna be

The INTIMADATOR!
2001 daytona 500 was bigger race in his carrier than 1998 one because it's ended his carrier...
Shut up.
Hes better than Richard Petty, love you Dale thanks for making this
9:16 NOBODY, and I mean nobody can showcase this clip like EmpLemon did. All these "Nascar UA-camrs" are fighting to for 2nd place
There was no pass in the grass though. Dale Earnhardt was the leader he didn’t pass anybody.
"No dominant driver in early 2000s plate racing.." . . Uhhhh. .whhat?
If Daytona is above 2000 Dega, this list is flawed.
Pass in the grass that wasn’t even a pass lol
Really dude? you included 1987 Martinsville, but not 1994 Rockingham, he clinched his 7th championship with that win
Who’s 2 minutes early?
"Soveran" it is pronounced Sov-Ran..
The curly airport partially instruct because territory culturally wipe until a innocent hospital. crabby, oval shovel
Man i was at the 2000 dega race a day I'll never forget.
R.I.P. Dale
