"You're a desperate woman, consumed by greed and bitterness; we could a have been such good friends"
Morticia is awesome
That one's certainly wonderful but her one-two punch in "Addams Family Values" was a masterclass in shade and encapsulated by a single word:
"Pastels?".
Will C so watching that movie for years, decades i might add, so sad 😢, but what in god name are pastels? What are they in the movie?
@@kplistens pastels are bright color schemes. In that movie, notice how Debbie is always dressed in light colors (white, pale blue, orange, pink, etc.)? Morticia thinks pastels are cheap, gaudy and ugly so when she said that 'Pastels?' line, Morticia was basically insulting Debbie on her choice of color (since the Addams are very macabre, anything bright and happy is ugly to them).
@@cainyourkids but it's true....its gaudy
That dress is awesome and I can't figure out how she's able to walk in it, lol
Gomez: *horrified upon finding out morticia is in danger*
Also Gomez: *still does his hair and gets dressed to rescue her*
Well yeah. He wants to look good for her when he goes to rescue her.
Gomez is a man who knows the proper attire for a rescue requires the best hair, and a damn good suit.
What if Thing drove while Gomez got ready and he just slid over before they got there?
He has to look good to rescue his love
He's gotta do it in style.
That woman doesn’t walk. She *GLIDES*

He's like, "No one tortures my wife but me!"

Shanethefilmmaker Yeah, no one should torture their own spouse but their own spouse, because only those who are wed know who they are doing, outside interference is a violation... I love philosophy...

Morticia is just someone who just loves everything. She's being tortured and she loves it. It's like nothing can ruin her day...well...besides cutting off her kiss with Gomez
She's a true optimist😜
She didn’t even wince in pain as she gave birth.
"Pastels?"
And yet, ironically enough, sitting through a school performance of "Getting to Know You" earlier in the film seemed to bother her a LOT more than this actual torture!
You are sadly wrong about Morticia. If there is something more she fears, is if her child becomes a lawyer... or a orthodentist, or worst of all... a president!

The sexiest line ever spoken in a movie, “you’ve done this before”. That combined with the look on her face is priceless
I love the emotions you can read on morticia's face. She's angry she lost her home, but angrier that Gomez lost it. But you can tell she's willing to restrain herself for his sake. Its only when she sees her children that she decides to act.
also, the controlled fury from gomez. They're silly, they're goofy, but Gomez is more than capable of taking a life to protect his family.

The best role models for a romantic couple.
Can you all see the sweetness of this scene? Yeah it's funny and everything, but I got touched as well... Fester's remorse, Morticia's sadness for her family condition, Gomez's concern for his beloved... they love each other so much! This family, crooky and spooky, is the most human in the world as well.

Morticia had tears in her eyes, after looking at her family in the motel suite
HipJunkster Anjelica has always been a goddess at eye acting.
A wilting black rose...
@HipJunkster Perhaps maybe the reason Morticia had tears in her eyes because she remembered when Wednesday said that Fester is an imposter who is not really Fester after hearing Fester (who thinks his name is Gordon) and Dr. Pinder-Schloss discuss how they can break into the vault where Morticia decided to take a look at her whole family and sacrifice herself by returning back to the mansion (her actual home) just to have a talk with Fester to maybe try to break him out of the amnesia but ended up getting strapped up and forced to tell how to access the vault.

@@troyandrew6154 Truth. The original was very good but damn, Raul Julia WAS Gomez in a way no one will ever be again.
Let's be honest, the Addams family is the only true functional family to exist.
I love this scene because For the First Time In Fester's life, he has opened his eyes and a pawn no more. He finally realized that this mother of his is not a mother but a parasite. Fester realized that the Addams gave him quality in his life and gave him the chance to be loved, accepted, and wanted. Ain't nothing like the love of family to open a person's eyes to find out what truly matters.
yes totally true, however his memory was tampered but now is fully restored thanks to the lightning that hit his brain and finally knows who he really is.
@@PuertoRican88 True, it even knocked some sense into him.⚡🌀
😄DAMN YOU TA HELL, RED!
@@PuertoRican88 I kind of think he may have regained his memory before the lightning. When she was showing her true colors that's when I think he realized who he really was.
He also came to realize that the Addamses, his true family, showed him more love and care than this toxic, selfish, manipulative witch who had the gall to call herself his mother.
Fifty sheds of grey what? Addams are the real thing
Vegeta Ssark still a better love story than 50 Shades of Grey
Oh yes! And keep in mind that this an early 90s comedy movie and they still managed to insert a little BDSM on this. Long live the 90s!
If they read 50 Shades of Grey, their only complaint would be, that Grey was doing it all wrong.
I love how Morticia takes it upon herself to right what's happened when she sees how unhappy (in a bad way) her family's become
I just adore how extra Morticia and Gomez are in this scene!!! 😍😍😍
I wish I was Gomez so I can have Morticia. She turns me on.

Gomez: “leather straps, red-hot pokers”
Morticia: “later, my dear...”
This is so kinky
Raul Julia was such a rare gem. It looks like he had so much fun in this role.
He seemed perfect for it 😭❤
Too bad God takes him too early.😔
I really just want to appreciate the look Gomez gives at both 5:12 and 5:34 after Tully cuts him and Gomez disarms the man. The absolute blood-lust. He's sparred with this man millions of times to always have Tully lose, but now his wife is in danger and he's finally alive again after feeling so betrayed, and the "sparring partner" he's always pushed finally is really challenging him to boot. Gomez is telling Tully with that second look and the line "one for *me*" if that woman didn't have a gun he could take down Tully, and an entire army, for Morticia.
He certainly seems to be pleased that Tully is able to scratch him despite the circumstances.
@@emperorofinception3571 if nothing else Gomez a good teacher.
@@Shanethefilmmaker Yes he is. It somehow seems fitting that this is the one time that Tully is able to scratch him. Both because both of them seem to be fully fighting as opposed to one or both of them holding back and because Tully is the one to actually get the sword and attack first. If the earlier scene is any indication, Gomez is usually the one who initiates their duels and Tully goes along with it halfheartedly. Now he using the sword because it is the only way he can think of to fight Gomez and try to win.
Fckin A! 🎶🦅💯🥶🦋🌊
@@emperorofinception3571 I like to think that Gomez doesn't have a playful mood anymore, he's actually shocked that Morticia is being held captive so he's not 100% into dueling this time. But of course he's a master swordsman and out for REAL blood, Tully had no chance

Ms. Lightbody such a cock block
Even the music score got cut off!
All of this could have been avoided if Tully simply asked for the money he needed to pay off Craven's debt. The Addams may be Macabre but that doesn't mean their less generous. They could have given it to him no questions asked.
Shanethefilmmaker Tully was trying to hide the fact that he was desperate. It’s ironic how he didn’t realize the truth would’ve set him free... poetic justice...
Fester's face when Gomez and Morticia start to get all romantic it's hilarious!
Also let's have a moment to appreciate that hand's effort to save Morticia

i love how the music cuts when she says 'knock it off' and they look at her like 'b*tch we were having a moment' XD

We were missing out on the GOOD Stuff...
Morticia is such a good mother (in her own way). Seeing her in the first scene broke my heart a little bit.
Raul Julia was absolutely phenomenal. 5:10 that glare, you know the shit just hit the fan.
6:46 - 6:48 A ha! That there proves that he's been Fester all along! Plus, her eyes are creepy.
When gomez got his hand cut and morticia held her breath. I almost screamed. Don't mess with the Adams family
He enjoyed it. The look on his face before he gained the upper hand.
@OwlsoftheNight_Yt I was surprised how Gomez got his hand cut since he is supposed to be a professional sword fighter as seen in the beginning of the movie.
6:19 "B!tch, do you mind? We're having a moment here."
7:56,
Fester - You were a terrible mother! There! I said it!
It's so brave for you to stand up to your "mother".
Morticia and Gomez are relationship goals and nothing can change my mind
I love that before Gomez went to rescue Morticia, he still had time to fix is hair and wear his usual outfits again. Lol
When charging into battle or a rescue it is always best to be properly dressed for the occasion.
I think the clothes change is rather symbolic. During his entire stay at the motel, he dressed like slob because he was miserable, depressed, and pretty much just gave up on life. After he realized Morticia was kidnapped, he finally found something to fight for and felt like he found purpose in life, thus returning back to his old self.
@EmmaJ.k.88 Well, I remember in the beginning of the movie it showed Gomez doing things at super speed where he turned pages of his calendar book at super speed so maybe he fixed his hair and put on his regular outfit at a super speed. Either that or, maybe "Thing" helped out a little where as Gomez was getting dressed maybe "Thing" was combing his hair so two things could be done at once. Or, maybe "Thing" was helping to comb his hair while Gomez was driving back to the mansion especially since "Thing" was with him.
Gomez is hot :D
Amalie Morgenstern yes Gomez is 🌋
This scene proves that even though the Addamses are creepy on the outside Abigail and Tully are the real monsters on the inside. Abigail tricked Fester into thinking he was her son and made him rob his real family for her own selfish gains.
Even if he turned out to not be Fester, this moment did welcome him to the family.
@Shanethefilmmaker That's true where even if he didn't get struck by the lightning in the "Hurricane Irene" book, he probably still would have acted like Fester since he grew attached to the family at that point and the whole family would have still accepted him into the family even if they found out he had amnesia.
The look of utter disgust on Gomez’s face when Dr. Pendershloss pulls the gun on him is epic. I’m that look you can see the contempt he has for someone who has no honor. He didn’t like Tully, but he respected him as an adversary. Raul was a master. I can’t imagine what else he would have done had he lived.
Quite possibly the only swordsman as good or if not better than zorro. Would have loved to have seen a fight like that.
you are the best
20 doubloons says they're related somehow.
So we just gonna ignore the fact that Gomez somehow launched himself high enough to backflip through the fucking window to save Morticia?
The way they both look at her when she interrupts their moment, those two are the best couple in history
7:07 Who knew that was some foreshadowing.

(Cinderella was actually about to grab the right wand but Anastasia stopped her. She then grabs a black and red evil looking wand.)
Anastasia: Allow me.
(Cinderella looks at her and is confused at first, but then she realizes what she is up to.)
Cinderella: (whispering) Nice work, stepsister.
(Anastasia winks at her and turns to face her mother and sister. They see that she has a dangerous wand in her hand and start to back away.)
Drizelda: Put that wand down, Anastasia. You don’t know what it can do. It’s not just a stick.
Anastasia: Oh, really? (She waves the wand at them and it makes her mother drop Fairy Godmother’s wand.)
Cinderella: (to Jaq and Gus) Quick, get the wand.
Jaq: Got it, Cinderelly. (They scurry to the wand.)
Drizelda: Anastasia, I’m your sister. Think of all the wealth!
Anastasia: It’s not yours, Drizelda. Back off.
(Meanwhile, Jaq and Gus grab the wand and give it to Cinderella and the Prince.)
Cinderella: Nice work, guys.
Jaq and Gus: Aww, shucks.
Tremaine: (frightened) Put the wand down, Anastasia. Listen to mother.
Anastasia: I’ll never listen to you. Never ever again.
Tremaine: I had to be strict because I cared. Put it down!
Anastasia: (angrily) You never really loved me or Cinderella.
Cinderella: Anastasia, this way!
(She, Jaq, Gus and the Prince enter a secret passage.)
Tremaine: Stop wining, you little good-for-nothing. Be a woman!
Anastasia: You were a terrible mother! There! I said it!
(She waves the wand and summons a fierce tornado which sucks up her, Lady Tremaine and Drizelda around the throne room. She drops to the floor but Cinderella catches her just in time, while Lady Tremaine and Drizelda are flung out the window into the castle’s pigsty flat on their faces.)
