FILM DESCRIPTION:
The members of the odd Addams Family are up to more macabre antics in this sequel. This time around, Gomez Addams (Raul Julia) and his wife, Morticia (Anjelica Huston), are celebrating the arrival of a baby boy. But siblings Wednesday (Christina Ricci) and Pugsley (Jimmy Workman) are none too happy about the new addition, and try their best to eliminate the infant. When nanny Debbie Jelinsky (Joan Cusack) appears to keep the kids in line, her presence leads to an unexpected treacherous twist.

My favorite thing about Morticia and Gomez is that they never hesitate to show how much they love each other in front of others. They're never embarassed of it.
Because to them, theirs and their family’s love for each other is the only thing that matters, and they (clearly) don’t care what the rest of society thinks about it because it’s none of their business. 😊🖤

It's not unrealistic. There are men (or women - depending on your preference), who would adore you. However, you too have to take note of Morticia's characteristics. That is, be: elegant, classy, sophisticated, take care of yourself, loving and a good (albeit slightly scary) woman.
Morticia is one of my major style icons. Next to Sade Adu and Josephine Baker.

The charisma of these two together! Angelica Houston was so hypnotizing as Morticia(the way every time she's on screen light only falls on her eyes is bewitching). And Raul Julia. Unforgettable as Gomez. Charming doesn't even begin to cover it. They are sensual as all hell, and when they are on screen together it's hard to tear your eyes off them. Superb actors
I really want a love like the one these two have for each other. They're completely and totally enamoured with each other at the point of worshipping and they never shy away from showing it to the world. That's *TRUE LOVE*

Bunni: used to watch the TV series when I was little and yes it was funny and good but I think these movies are way better. Much more clever and the jokes are more adult. Angelica Huston is perfect, sultry, mysterious, witty and funny. The late great Raul Julia’s Gomez is much more charming, smooth, and handsome while being funny at the same time. Much darker adult humor than the series staying truer to the original comic strip.

I like how there's Morticia and Gomez having a romantic moment, and then there's fester trying to impress Debbie by being an idiot 😂😂😂
Debbie didn't care about Fester one bit. It was all an act because she was a black widow. Though admittedly Debbie was getting a bit frustrated through the film when her numerous attempts to kill Fester failed due to Fester being essentially invulnerable. Then what was even more funny was Fester being totally oblivious to it.
Not to mention Debbie's attempt to electrocute the family wouldn't have worked considering in the first film Wednesday is shown electrocuting Pugsley and he was perfectly fine in the next scene.
The biggest irony? Had Debbie just openly admitted to being a black widow, the Addamses would have welcomed her with open arms.

This scene was so good it lived with me for years after I seen it as a kid. He is so handsome his eyes are beautiful. The love they showed throughout this whole movie was amazing and believable. Forever want one.
A couple that I admire performs one of the most mesmerizing dance sequences that I've seen in movies...! And they're the healthiest movie marriage (and romance) that comes to mind; mutual respect, they complement each other (Gomez is unabashedly and demonstrably romantic and emotive, Morticia is elegantly reserved and composed) they support each other, they're equally proactive and loving parents, and they're madly in love with each other and just adore each other. Raul and Anjelica *ARE* Gomez and Morticia, as far as I'm concerned!

This was an excellent remake of the original Addams family, although sadly Raul Julia is no longer with us. I don't know if anyone else from this movie has passed as well.
