Joan Cusack's Best Lines- Addams Family Values

- Arguably one of the funniest screen performances of all time. Joan Cusack, who has been nominated for 2 Oscars before in comedies (Working Girl, In & Out), should have also been recognized here! I did take some liberties with allowing other stars to shine (Anjelica Huston gets a great line). In fact, I might do another one with Christina Ricci, who wasn't able to be displayed here as much. The entire cast is so funny in fact, that even with Cusack in a scene there's another zinger being thrown back at her. Enjoy! #addamsfamilyvalues #oscars #joancusack
The fact she had a PRESENTATION prepared 💀
"Don't I deserve love... and jewelry"
"I just wanna grab them and squeeze them until there is not a breath left in their tiny little bodies" Gomez and Morticia look at each other like they have found the one.
"All that I could forgive. But Debbie..."
Her only mistake was not telling the entire Addams family what she is. They would have accepted her right away
“You shouldn’t be married, you should be studied” FOREVER iconic 😭
It’s actually kind of brilliant how Debbie comes so close to fitting right in with the family but never truly can because her top priority will always be her own desires, while the Addams’ top priority will always be one another’s needs.
I love how "Joan Cusacks best lines from Addams Family" is basically all of her lines. Rightfully so, what an icon.
I absolutely love how there is always a constant light shining on Morticia's eyes
i still think joan cusack does not get enough praise for this role! she played it to perfection
"So I killed. So I maimed. So I destroyed one innocent life after another. Aren't I a human being? Don't I yearn, and ache, and shop? Don't I deserve love... and jewelry?"
i love her “backstory” and her explaining why she kills💀💀
"Gimme a kiss."
okay but debbies waist was SNATCHEDDDD
I love Debbie openly talking about how she wants to pick up the baby and basically crush him to death and the parents are like "yep, she's the one!"
"Would you die for me ?"
You know, the sad thing is, if she hadn't been so shallow and obsessed with money, she would've fit right in with the Addams family.
Her rehearsing being a widow was so funny.
I can never get over how the chauffeur asks her where her husband’s dead body is and genuinely shocked that he’s still alive. Like bro how many rodeos has he been with her?
Every actor in this movie was at the top of their game.
