Hi everyone! What grade (out of 10) would you give this video?
Maybe a 2
10
11d6
Considering this wasn't the final scene as advertised in the title, a zero.
A solid 10. Best scene in the movie.
I think what always hit me the hardest about this film, and this scene in particular, is that Fester would have happily _given_ Debbie everything she wanted. She never needed to try and kill him; by that point, she hungered for murder just as much as, if not more than, the money. 😮💨She really would have made a splendid Addams; with some time, even the kids would have grown to adore their darling demented Aunt Debbie. Too bad she was too self-absorbed to see that; _THAT_ is why she could never really be an Addams; Addamses are all about family~
Yeah, but she doesn't like Addams and they don't like pastel colors
@@francescapaladini5763 They'd make an exception after seeing how black her heart and soul were. You can see they actually admire her wickedness as she tells them her story.
@@francescapaladini5763 yeah but there not shallow they can look past it
@@jessiehogue. this. Like they accepted cousin it's wife and she's still plenty pastel-y
@@879SCSP One thing about the Adamsses, they all have big hearts.
I love how she took the time to photograph her victims in their final moments .
That’s what sets apart the killer from the psychopath
And she really has a talent for shadow and light. Maybe should have considered a different career.
What you don’t?
I like how she totally belonged in the family it's just nobody realized it till the end.
But Debbie, pastels? - Morticia
She would have made a great Addams! But Debbie was all about Debbie, while the Addams' are all about family. 😍
She didn't even realize it, either!
Shocking, isn't it? Shocking-In more ways than one!
@@crazyman8472 was about to say the same thing. They also just did morbid stuff but didn’t ever kill anyone…on purpose anyway.
@@lscales6131 The first scene of the first movie has them pouring boiling oil on carolers.
I like when she says "do any of you really love me",you could tell they were actually trying to rise there hands😂
they could use words
@@francescapaladini5763 she asked for a raise of hands lol
@@soxpeewee Well, technically, Gomez did.
This cast will forever be THE definitive versions of these characters to me 😊
As a child of the 1960s, the cast of the original tv series is the "definitive version"...different eras, different opinions
@@tamaraclaw I kinda grew up with both. I watched a bunch of older tv shows ( my favorites were gilligan's island and Red Skelton ) I've always preferred gomez and morticia from the 60's but 90's fester will always be my favorite. I never cared for the children in either, the 60's kids were just normal kids that happened to like weird things and the 90's kids were just edgelords. I think the thing that is shared by both is how great gomez and morticia's relationship is. Did you know that thing shares a voice actor in both versions?
The way the aunt or whoever that is is egging her on is incredibly funny to me. "What about your needs?"
She is grandmama, she is uh part of the family, how, we might never know
Too many family members
@@loonzoldick in the tv show she was morticia's mother
the irony.. everytime they revamp the Addams they give her character a different backstory
Grandmama played by the legendary Carol Kane.
I absolutely love how there's always a light cast over Morticia's eyes. It's the little things that make things great.
There is an irl reason for it. In her contracts there always had to be extra light on her face. The director found it awesome and amplofied it tenfold to add to the characters mystique.
That was her whole thing. Her body was shrouded in shadow and her eyes were super bright.
reminds me of those 1920s silent film scenes
Debbie truly was a part of this family she just never accepted that she fit in.
For those youngins... The main point of the Adams Family is that you accept those that are different than you. You accept them until they try and hurt your family. Then you stay true to people you love.
Dang. I was half expecting it all to work out and her to join the family.
She gets buried in the graveyard behind the house. She was family.
Well...if you add some water to the ashes, that might be a good start...
Or, maybe not...
It was just a thought.
@@morenfin Aww…
Even if it had worked, the family probably would have enjoyed the electric chairs.
i mean hell its not the first time pugsly was in one
Maybe it's all about intent, when the addams family does stuff like this, it's all in good fun, but in this case Debbie actually means to hurt and kill them maliciously with intent. (Although it was the same when she tried to electrocute Fester in the tub and he survived anyway) Edit: maybe he just thought Debbie was being playful.
@Reba Joe - I realize she wanted to kill them, but electric chairs were a bad choice of weapon.
I'm not sure what I would use to kill them that they wouldn't survive and enjoy.
I mean, Gomez carried lit cigars in his pocket, so you couldn't even use the flame thrower /cigar lighter that lit the polar bear on fire.
Maybe you could get 10 women to speak French to Gomez, and that would overload his senses and kill him.
Dress Wendesday up in a white party dress with a pink ribbon in her hair. That would probably kill her.
The irony is if she got along with everyone she would be perfect for him and them.
I agree.
Those pastels were too much.
My parents rented this from our local Blockbuster back when I was a kid. My siblings and I watched this ad nauseam and memorized all quotes with our most favorite being "MALIBU BARBIE". It had to be rented by our parents a second time since we just asked for it again! Ah, good times. I'm happy this movie is experiencing a renaissance with the younger generation.
Mal-i-bu Bar-bie! The only way I can say it after watching this movie on repeat. 😂
I don't know why Pubert getting launched into the sky makes me laugh so much.
That whole scene, with Pubert the Baby, was totally amazing! He knew no fear.
Must've thought that the whole thing was fun, too!
DON'T I DESERVE LOVE...... and jewelry..?
😂😂😂
the mom nod i was done
And the high-end credit cards fluttering down next to her shoe after she ashified herself, great touch.
I like that she took pictures of every murder
Cue the Barbara Streisand music:
"Memories, light the corners of my mind..."
That’s actually quite in Addams fashion 😅
The Senator got the ax, the Doctor was apparently run over, but Fester? Nah...I really don't think that either he, or his Family, would've been killed by the electrocution. Remember: Fester had already been in a Bathtub, when Debbie threw the Boombox into the Tub with him, and tried to electrocute him... only for Fester to "Shockingly" survive! She had to be-"How?!? How could he have possibly survived"?!?
She forgot: He's an Addams!
@@smaug9617Yeah! To the Addams Family, there's nothing like a good old-fashioned shocking. They love it! That's because they're "Built" for it, being that they're basically immortal, anyway. To them-This is fun!
@@ronaldshank7589 so basically they were never in danger omg
I love that the baby has a tiny mustache
like his dad right like how
This is by far the craziest thing ever conceived a baby with a legitimate self defense claim
Man slater but I get what you mean
Joan Cusack’s performance was gold.🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩🤩
Is it wrong how much I enjoy the Addams Family movies? Wednesday is my spirit animal.
Imagine calling Wednesday an animal
@@Alexander-fw9bc Or calling an animal Wednesday
And Gomez is mine
It's wrong that you're so unoriginal.
Would electrocuting the Addams even kill them? I imagine them just going "Well that was a rather boring evening all things considered"
"What a charming family activity. Thank you debbie."
Nope, it would just tickle them. After all, she tried to electrocute Fester in the bath, but he not only survived, he also loved it and lit up a light bulb on his mouth too.
Perhaps...one would need iron, salt, silver n holy water
Wednesday has already electrocuted Pugsley before.
@@dragondude9637 I wondered if maybe it was about intent, when the addamses do stuff like that it's all in good fun, but Debbie actually means to hurt and kill them maliciously with intent. (Idk maybe Fester thought the bathtub incident was just her being playful and that's why he lived)
Honestly I wouldn't believe that this would of killed the Adams family either way
Baby Gomez flying up through the roof of the Addams' family home high enough to peer into the window of an airplane while in the middle of a flight will always be hilarious to me. 😂
2:08 I love how Gomez’s face is asking “Is THIS how I die?? F%&king DEBBIE???” 🤣🤣
3:59 Wednesday taking mental notes on how to electrocute properly
Joan Cusak and Cristina Ricci were awesome in this movie
Honestly think the punch line was gonna be that they not only survived, but actually enjoyed it. Like when Fester was literally being electrocuted in the bath tub.
Those are some very strong credit cards!
The Gold Visa card is one of the strongest during that time.
Its plastic...so...
The baby is the cutest baby ever
Both movies were just amazing. No way they can pull this off anymore. Either too dark or too family friendly. These movies struck the balance. At worst you could see the studio interference in Values. Thing's skateboarding scene at the start, a few bits of the camp rebellion, and a few bits in this scene with Pubert flipping around. Though the airplane gag still makes me laugh. Just how all three people see him, look at each other, and decide it didn't happen.
The baby did it! 😱
Stab the baby
Is it just me or is everyone mocking her as they are sitting on the electric chairs? 😂
Just you they are whole sale on her side
They certainly don't feel as threatened as she wants them to, but there isn't any mockery. Finding out she was a serial killer scored her points in their book. Wednesday mentioned her work with admiration in a previous scene
Pubert saves the day
RIP Raul Julia
I never understood the threat level of this scene, The Addams electrify themselves for a Hobby.
Didn't she know that Fester was immune to electrocution? The boombox in the hot tub should have clued her in on that fact!
Truly wonderful film.
The Addams Family Values (1993) - Debbie's Defeat
Baby’s first homicide
This electrocution was brought to you by American Express.
I love this movie....
0:19 I always wonder if Grandma used axe on Morticia’s father.
Goes to show ya... everyone needs some little Pubes in their life.
Now THAT is movie magic.
Now this is a good movie
A very shocking scene 😂😂😂
Great movie
This is what happens when your home is properly grounded and bonded. Hire a professional for your electrical work
good movie
Cute kid.
Er......lady...wrong family to talk bout positivity.....lmao
wrong family to try torture on too lol
Can't believe I never picked up on the fact that's Jessie from Toy Story 2 as a kid. You can hear it in her voice a few times, just without the southern accent.
She did the one thing that is unacceptable with the Addams Family, try to break up the family.
The baby. It had me laughing the whole time. I wish movies like this would capture audiences more. Stupid kids nowadays. And I’m only 33.
damn joan cusack is such a baddie
The funny thing is they’re just sitting there enjoying the electrocution…gosh I love this family!
Don't I deserve love? And jewelry? No. You really don't. 😂
Baby's first kill!
Ngl fester in that light was horrifying.
Debbie Big Scène (Soundtrack)
a Chip off the old block🤣🤣
Wonder if Chucky would be too evil for the Addams or would he fit right in?
nah chucky do too much maybe tiffany bc all she wants is family and love and to kill but her kills be on low and if you do something horrible to her family.
Evil
They wouldn't even NOTICE his shenanigans. The murder attempts wouldn't be a bug of the good guy dolls, they would be a feature.
Too evil chunky will go out of his way to kill you for fun the Adams may irritate you sometimes bother you but it not intentional more of how the family is raised and they won’t bother you unless you bother them so I would take my chances with Adams than Chucky
It wasn't Debbie's husband's fault
It was her who wanted to be with them and got nothing in return
Kanes PARENTS and Kane and his wifey Keke remember them all funny
The thought of adding some cartoon sounds
Is it just me or does Debbie remind you of a certain ex cable TV actress????? Hahahahahahahahahaha
you'd think they'd get along better.
Sheila after killing franks mom in shameless lmao 😂❤rr
3:09 LMAOOO
3:51 haha
Debbie gelled so well with the family, it's shame she didn't actually fall in love with Fester and the rest of Addams like Cousin It's lady did.
That platinum credit card should have melted.
My kind of woman 😏
Was that Flo in the window seat?
Wednesday Friday Addams
hello friends
Ten....cause I can't give it an Eleven
But Debbie…pastels?!
Reminded me of my ex...
Wow she was really dry….
Salman Khan spotted
Those credit cards used to be silicone breast implants
I could have sworn that too lol
She is one fine looking psychopath!
I dont think they would have died anyway
Physics? Bah.
That didnt last long to cremate someone
Why can’t Debbie get an origin/back story movie of her own…
She didn't find it enjoyable. The Addams missed an enjoyable experience.
Hmmm. How Rich 💵💵💵💵💵💵💵💵 were they?????
Do you ever wonder what happens at day care after you let your kids off....
I swear after Debbie got electrocuted there were implants that fell
I would have loved the scene, but that moment was too much for me.
Speaking logically, the Addams family wouldn't die anyway as the wire had been cut and no electricity should have reached the family, there would be a short circuit at best. The moment when she Debbie was electricuted herself was also very strange.
Are there any electricians who could explain how this would be possible?
Pubert have Toon Force
OK ill have to make a confession here, what is the point behind Gomez calling out "hands!?"
Debbie asked:"Did anyone of you love me?"
Gomez was like, "raise your hand if you did"
@@tarnw3301 so funnny!!!!
Gomez was trying to show that the whole family would raise their hands and agree with her, they're down with psycho-serial-killers.
Huh.
I thought I was watching home movie night at Hillary's.
No. That one is "Psycho".
I hate the "Wednesday Adam series" she originally the youngest child but for women empowerment & accepting a person for their differences, the "Wednesday Adam series" was created by focusing on her being a Woman, Goth, the way how she express herself to the world, and that Wednesday Adam dance wasn't that great but we over exaggerated
The message is being different but conform to standards...
I enjoyed Wednesday
