SIX came out around the same time as similar shows such as Seal Team, Valor, and The Brave. Yes. SIX is not as high quality as SEAL Team when it comes to production and script. What should be realized is that SIX was released by The History Channel. They are not going to having the production budget to compete with a network TV show. Also, the timeline for filming is much smaller so writing and filming might be rushed. A show that should be looked at is "Ultimate Force". It's a show that came out in 2002 in the UK about the SAS. Again, the budget for production isn't comparable to a US show but it was still quite good.
I actually watched this before SEAL Team, and didn't watch SEAL Team for the longest time because of it. I genuinely was bored by SIX. I honestly thought SEAL Team would be worse. Something about the name "SEAL Team" sounded like it must be a cheap, shitty show. Nope, SEAL Team is one of my favorite shows of all time now.

Have to say SEALT Team makes the most sense although as Tyler grey have said “in reality if they all did missions like that they would’ve multiple of medal of honors” lol. What made the show great that it shows what happens when you have a good team leader, using everything you have as a Tier 1 unit, in the show of seal team there times where the exfil is not 100% the way they want it and they keep finding alternatives to get out. Also what I liked about it is that all of them have a bond that brotherhood bond you can’t replace. That’s what I liked about the show seal team, Tyler Grey did a fucking fantastic job with the show. Also if you want to know his character in the show, he’s the medic, the medic in the show has a fucked up arm that’s Tyler grey he got his arm blown off during a mission he’s lucky to still have it so that’s why it looks weird or deformed.
