Chuck Schuldiner is just one of those figures you can't picture dead, he still seems so alive.
Death will live forever. \m/
La muerte 💀 es el principio.
The kid when Chuck is doing the solo doesn't realize what he was witnessing
Bathory more like when the other guy was soloing
Witnessing the last gasp of history my friend
I love that the security guys at the barriers are having just as much fun as the crowd, they're probably fans
Lol they are headbanging and protecting chuck lol
Feel bad for those on the left.. Security is blocking the entire side of the stage!! Cant see a damn thing..
That's how a show should be, everyone having fun, doesn't matter if your getting paid or not.
Strongly disagree. Security shouldn't be ON stage blocking views. No way those guys work security at the venue. Also, way too aggressive 1:08 shove is WAY too hard.
@@jonathanterrio6820 this security guy (with white shirt) is the one who, in other periods of time, could start problems in there
Epic album...I was lucky enough to see Death..and Carcass at the same gig!!!
+Iceman 8 was Pestilence not there? they should have been.
That wasnt the tour with Pestilence and Carcass, it was with Devastation. James Murphy didn't play in Death on the Pestilence/Carcass tour....
bobby khan
this was the show the stage collapsed in the first or second song. carcass pestilence was the show they walked off stage during mutilation which was the second song I think
Lucky indeed. RIP Chuck shuldiner.
lucky you:-p
Someone Spits on his guitar and he just kept his cool .. He was so fuckin awesome ..So glad I met him in 97 .. Nicest Guy Ever
sirus yes how did you meet him?
EY3less 70 just walk up to him. He's just a person
@@SeanSitka Well, unfortunately, you can't really walk up to him now
I can totally imagine man
James Murphy needs mores praise. He shreds all over the album
Best Death lead imo
@@GamerTT00 he left the band?
@@RoRo-vr6wx Of course, he only participated in spiritual healing, recording lead parts and touring with them, he is actually a session musician who has been playing for some other great metal bands such as Obituary, Testament, etc
@@gtroy181 wtf? didnt realize that since im 16 n i just got into into this genre a year ago btw thnx for educating me :)
@@RoRo-vr6wx You're welcome, i'm too getting into this genre two years, hearing Metallica, megadeth, iron maiden, pantera all the classic stuff but when i get into Death it blows my mind, the music of the master Chuck Schuldiner it's simply beautiful and brutal at the same time, and the work of the other members like James Murphy, Paul masvidal, Sean reinert, Gene hoglan, Steve DiGiorgio, Andy LaRocque, etc it's sick too, unfortunately Chuck passed away in 2001 and Death doesn't exist anymore but his memory and legacy will live forever \m/... At least we have Death To All the official tribute Band of Death
who else can rip a solo and still sing
chuck was one of a kind and truelly uncomparable
Man when he goes into the tapping bridge and starts singing chills rippled thru me what an Absolute God
Omgg i feel the same
This dude was a musical treasure. Such a laid back, and kind person, but also completely ripped. Everyone has a light and dark side, but he made the two work together without compromising his morals. Total respect.
Truly one of the biggest inspirations in Music Chuck is the reason I like Death/Extreme Metal
4:19 The guy in front of Chuck looks back in amazement
I would have too, awesome solo!
Thats Solo Is Fucking Amazing
what a fucking legend - totally under appreciated
By who? Chucks a legend...
Practice what you preach !
Testament
Your loved one is now deceased!
@@HCWz-_-Over9000 knowledge is at our hands!
@@DanielLightspeedMcNair Never to understand!
@@andrei1151 SPIRITUUAAAAAAAAALLLLLL
After all these years i still have goosebumps watching Chuck doing the solo and singing SPIRITUAL HEALING at the same time, it doesn't get more epic than that. Lucky guys In the front. I envy you.
James Murphy! His solos are one of the best ever!
4:58
i like how when he started tapping everyone pretty much stopped and stared and the security turns around is like 'wow' haha
Nice crowd footage for 1990. Really nice.
still goes under the skin, especially the solos! Thank you Chuck, your music is eternal!
4:30 Woww.. he really did the tapping and the singing together.. INSANE!!
is not hard bro, I'm not hater, I'm a fan, but I'm just saying a fact, I've tried it before
@@sleepybladeagree but cant deny that it does look crazy as hell if you don’t play lol
@@OkOk-bj6nn yeah I understamd
4:18 lol that guard cannot believe what he is witnessing
Coroner and Death were two of the greatest bands ever
Thee best Death album by far. Murphy doing leads on this make it more irresistible.
goddamn Murphy's solos are SOOO GOOD!
Kurt Spotts : no doubt, mate!
I pretty close nearly agree =)
Spiritual Healing is by far the ultimate Death album. There's no disappointing moments on it.
I didn't know that any Death song had disappointing moments
WTF?
"Spritual Healing is by far the ultimate Death album", i hope you are joking! XD
All the Death albums are amazing and to much underrated in my opinion!
Can't help it I love their first and its scream bloody gore everything they made was gold but scream bloody gore is just a favorite
Human was one of their best moments, even though I love James Murphy
Any death album could be the ultimate
Got my Spiritual Healing hoodie a couple days ago...god damn, that album is a masterpiece!
james murphy on guitar and chuck ,favorite lineup
I worked at a flower farm with the man Terry Butler when he began with Death the dude did not even swear I thought he's never gonna be a death metal bassist, I personally was the bassist for the metal band Metal Profit playing Janus Landing , Rocket ,volley, Bottle clubs any place we could for pennies and beer but me being a Sabbath Freak how could I not be friends with a dude named Terry Butler, he was just so mild mannered loved the dude he would use cursive language such as you "cabbage neck" how vile !! good times he and I Nicknamed Dr. Dan the lyric man, and my drummer " Danny shitty Shaw" R.I.P. my best friend killed in a car accident. had a cool connection Heavy Music we lived it ,loved it and will Die with it I just hope he remembers us cause I sure as hell remember him ...rock on mellow fry . Dr. Dan Knollenberg President Co-Founder Bloody Fist Record Productions The Motor City... Oh yea the storage place we all used to rehearse at in Tampa Bay What was it called Public storage or some place like that , noisy tin sheds wow!!! LOUD to cool!!
Unbelievable band...this album definitely took things to another level. Especially with Chuck and James both on guitar...it was definitely the start of things to come.
Human, Individual Thought Patterns and Symbolic are Death and inevitably Chuck at their best.
It's amazing that Chuck managed to keep the same voice until very late years
4:19 moment when magic happens 👌
Pretty awesome that Bill Andrews plays all his drum parts pretty much exactly like his performance on the album.. Nice to hear that.. Rest in peace Chuck..
Miss Bill Andrews. He hit them drums real hard
Chuck and James! A match made in death metal heaven!!!!
Nothing like an old fashion body fence to block an epic performance
Awesome. Strange to think it was a whole 27 years ago.
chuck + coroner t-shirt *-*
Coroner forever! Their new album is coming soon.
Fedor Berezin oh really :0
Fuckkkk yea!!!!!!!
Epic.
so underrated one of the best technical bands out there
Bill Andrews did a great job on this album, his drumming if perfect
Perfection in playing! Solos? perfection beyond our comprehension. Been listening to the man play sense childhood. Im 41 now. I miss you Chuck. Rest in peace brother.
It's my favourite era in metal. Those who lived in the Golden years may not understand the impact on the future.
Love Chuck's growls on this live show. Perfect. At his highest. So professional. Death-metal forever.
I was worthy enough to see this tour at bogarts in cincy. Completely amazing show. A band call Devastation opened for them. After the show, I went to the t shirt stand to buy a spiritual healing tour shirt and there wasnt any.. but once again, I was worthy enough to meet Chuck and James Murphy at the t shirt stand. They signed the knees of my jeans and answered a few questionsen that I came up with. They were super nice. Also Rodney Daborse signed my hat. awesome memories! Never seen a bad show at bogarts!
Saw them 3 times in Belgium in the '90s. The best and more interesting death metal band ever.
RIP Chuck.
The musicianship of death is just top notch, James Murphy my god what a guitar player and obviously Chuck is on another level (tapping and singing at the same time, badass). Still find it rather unreal that this amount of vast technicality was known and accessible to guitar players whether or not you were rhythm or lead, just far ahead of it's time. This was all the way back in 1990 ffs.
This is so good, almost sounds the same as the recording, R.I.P Chuck, Death will always be my favorite DM band
killer Sean! i need to get all your footage on DVD or something man, for my personal archive.
Are you cancer free James?
Are you cancer free James?
Oh my god is this the real deal????
I'd never heard of you before Spiritual Healing!!
Definetly a huge fan now hahaha
+James Murphy : James you're more than welcome to come by the house and get what you want. Actually, I have all these shows on DVD as I made copies for Chuck's mom?
+lolyermad never heard of Obituary?
I saw this same tour in San Antonio at The Showcase event center. Devastation opened for them, was an awesome show!
Devastation supported them on the entire tour. I filmed the Showcase show as well. Email me ssitka@gmail.com or write me on FB. Sean Krystof Sitka. I have them all as disc images
fucking hell
Chuck is wearing a Coroner T-Shirt ?
man, that just blew me away!!!
soooo cool !!!!
Chuck was a really nice guy. My friends and I met the whole band before their El Paso show on this tour. A few of my friends asked for autographs, and we basically were like, "you guys kick ass" or something like that, and that was that. I saw them later that year at The Asylum in Tempe when they performed as a trio. I didn't even miss the second guitar. Chuck kicked ass.
Trio Death sounds interesting. Bet the bass really stood out
Coroner T-Shirt :) What a perfect taste of music! Chuck is badly missed.
This right here is why I fucking LOVE UA-cam. What a great memory.
Damn! That solo... Listening to it and seeing playing it in a live is priceless. I wish I had been there. Miss you evil Chuck
Damn. James Murphy's lead is so good in this song. I think it's super cool how identifiable he is. When that dude plays, regardless of the band or album, you know it's him.
His phrasing reminds me of Marty Friedman, really out there but it still works
Gosto demais do DEATH 😢
Mi canción favorita de este álbum, sin duda. Está de poca madre
Chuck was a very talented Man and will be missed.
"Who ever spit on my guitar can rot in hell" yessss!!!!1
That intro, "SPIRITUAL, HEARRRRLING." was fucking brutal
I still have my Ticket stub 4-19-90 at the Beacham Theater in Orland Fl
I agree, Coroner are another amazing band
One of the true masters...his influence will live forever..R.I.P. Chuck.
Thank you for uploading!!!
This is my most favourite band ever!!!!
This album changed my life.
This is beyond awesome!

Excellent Footage..
Absolutely flawless!
the best line-up,the best album, what a great gift to see this video live, thank you man !
pure gold
Singing and tapping at the same time? Man I could never do that. Thats freaking hard.
4:18- 5:18 FUCKING BRUTAL ORGASMIG
fu@k yeah!! this is killer, my fave line up, thanks sean krystof sitka for posting.
This is when death blew up man.. James Murphy was in the band and they were Killin it.. killer video man thanks for sharing..
Chuck is wearing a corner shirt!
I actually saw Coroner live, but never saw Death live, sucks. I think they played New Orleans for this tour also
Amazing performance.
Just the SOUND of Death is rough, tough and it makes you feel that way. Miss them
Whoaaaaaaa!!!! This is one of the best songs, and albums ever!
awesome stuff!!! thanks for posting, one of my favorite death songs \m/
Hace 20 años escuché. Esto y es hermoso
This is my favorite Death lineup!!! The whole band that recorded spiritual healing is represented here
la mejor banda de todos los tiempos!!!!
exelente este concierto!!!!!!!!!
deberia haber mas material de este!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
One of my favourite albums class!
4:44 me casually driving to work listening to Death loudly
im honored to share the same birthday as chuck although he was a couple of years younger than me.
My 2 favorite guitarists at work.Man I missed this show due to having to go-to work that evening. My homeboy went and had a blast that night, even got to meet Chuck personally. And have a beer with some of the bands. He passed away a few years after this show. But he wouldn't let you forget anytime he had a few drinks in him that he met The Mighty Chuckster and Legendary Murphy that night.I know they are up there jamming together once in a while and we battle viruses daily. For you Steve-O.Keep us safe big man.See you someday, not too soon.
Damn, kudos for posting this videos. The pic and sound quality are awesome..like if the concert happened last week, (still can't believe Chuck is gone) almost as good as the Ultimate Revenge ones. Thanx.
the best of my life
So sick!🤘🤘🤘
major work !!
Excelent band was Death, that guitar duo was one of the best in the Death Metal scene, Chuck and James Murphy did pure fire and this song sounds as like the album theme. Death rules forever!!!!
At night I dream about being that 15 year old boy just chilling there while chuck is ripping that solo directly behind his head.
classic!!! love it
EPIC!!!
Death and all of James Murphy's work is the best of all the world and top notch
Chucky thank you!! You're music has and will always be a part of my life!! 🤘D E A T H!🤘 R.I.P! The Godfather of Death Metal!!🤘☢🤘
HIS A REAL TALENTED GUY!
And modest.
I like him.
I had "Spiritual healing" and "Leprosy" LP's when I was 15 (19 years ago) and spiritual healing white t-shirt that I liked very much.
That's a real lost, poor Chuck.
thank you so much for uploading this.... I fucking wish that I was old enough to have experienced something like this :( But thanks to you I can watch these videos and dream!
RIP Chuck! LONG LIVE DEATH METAL!
Álbum perfeito, GRANDE DEATH
Coroner Tshirt and Death playing! my favourite bands!
Schuck Forever in our minds !!!

I love when that solo started I feel like everyone stopped moshing to watch chuck work his magic
