Damn, I love watching this. At 38, I was old enough that yes, I did know them prior to this album. I still think this was their best one. They got better with later albums, but this one is still my favorite. One of my few regrets is never having seen them live. R.I.P. Chuck... you were amazing.
That is the best camera (video and audio) quality I've seen from a 1990's video. Quite fitting for Death :D
The way the riff comes back in after those solos is fucking unreal amazing!
Fuk ya I was at this show. The After Dark had some of the best Metal/Death Metal shows back in the 90's. New Titans On The Block was pretty amazing show that was also at this venue.

I think as far as raw talent, the lineup that performed on the Individual Thought Patterns was world class. Andy LaRocque on guitar, Gene Hoglan on drums, and Steve DiGiorgio on bass was such an incredible lineup!!! Production wise, Spiritual Healing is superior, as ITP sounds kinda thin. Still, i wish ITP woulda been heavier. Maybe someone will remaster it someday.
