Beautiful!!! 🤩 PTX are class acts! Imo…there is no reason why this Christmas song as well as so many of their songs shouldn’t be on the radio. They are phenomenal and the wall of sound that brings out such emotion & passion is a must for all to hear!! I just love ❤️ PTX, and your reactions are so heartfelt & genuine! Thank you for sharing! 👌🤗💕
I ADORE Kirstin's lower register. And recently my all favourite from whole PTX is Her vibrato, it's so interesting, she somehow does it at the beginning of phrases(lines?), sounds vintage and thick I dunno how to explain but wow 🤩
This was just a beautiful performance. Mitch so smooth and perfect at the start. Makes you want to weep. Kirstie following on.....I knew that you did not realize that she took over. Scott with his pop riffing. Listen to the percussion from Kevin. The bass from Matt. Those harmonies and layering and stacking of vocals. What is it ? How do they do that? And the wall of sound. Superb!
This video was done when Kirsty had broken her ankle and she had it on the little scooter thingy and sitting on a stool, which is why they're not showing below the waist. Love it.
Loved this when the beautiful Faith Hill released it but omg this is so pretty and just so full of emotion!! They really touched me with this one. PTX and their wall of sound...other-worldly! Thanks Travis!
This is one of my favorite Christmas songs to begin with - I cried the first time I heard it in "Grinch" - and I cried the first time I heard PTX sing this! I think I read somewhere that, wherever they recorded this, it was really cold outside, and the snow at the end was real!
I’m loving all the PTX Christmas reactions, thanks Travis! Are you planning to grace us with a reaction to, “God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen”? That’s another one that will knock you off your chair if you aren’t buckle down!
I just watched another reactor and his brain literally blew. Shame on me, I snickered. He has less than 6 months of PTX, he wasn't ready for that one. I have refrained from mentioning Aha! Singapore star Vista. No need to finish off another reactor.
@@sonjarussell7332 knocking off reactors? Oh yeah, can you imagine how that would go in court? "Well, see here, your honor, I just requested that "insert reactors' name here" watch "specific PTX video" and apparently they died! I live in blank city and have no idea where they live, how is it my fault?" Yes, I'm full of sarcasm. But I did giggle at your response
I love watching you watch Ptx! These are my loves - love them like they're my children - so it warms my heart to see you loving them as they deserve to be loved & appreciated!!:XO
One of my favs! My list goes 1- Little Drummer Boy, 2- Carol of the Bells, 3- Where Are You Christmas 4- Mary, Did You Know 5- O Come All Ye Faithful... but all PTX songs are wonderful!!
This song is beautiful and their version is way more beautiful and special, glad you checked it out Travis!! Frankly, I didn't know of its existence until very recently and somehow it deserves to be on my top 10 Ptx's christmas songs of all time and that's hard to decide, ain't gonna lie... In other words, thanks for sharing your thoughts and this reaction dude, I'm always looking forward to see more of your content and in this time of the year even more!! I suggest you their cover of Somewhere Over The Rainbow, it has Avi in it and it's one of those, along with Where Are You Christmas, that if you claim yourself a Pentaholic you HAVE to know (Spoiler alert: if you ever do it, pay special attention to Avi's bass on that one, it'll blow your mind...). Thanks again Travis and I wish you a happy day!! :)
Oh Yes!!! This is one my favourite PTX Christmas songs. Makes you want to just hug somebody. Can't wait to see your reaction to this Travis. Counting down!!
So glad to see and hear your reaction to this! They are unbelievable, aren't they! The rabbit hole grows deeper with each reaction! By the way..... love that shirt you have on.....you are difinity in the Christmas spirit! Vickie from SE Pa
When I first heard this it was driving me crazy because I KNEW I'd heard the song before, and I could only find the Faith Hill cover, which I knew I hadn't heard. It's from the 2000 version of the Grinch movie, sung by Cindy Lou Who, written by Mariah Carey, James Horner and Will Jennings. Hill sang it for the soundtrack when Carey's version had copyright issues.
If you want a fun one, react to their version of “Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairy”. It has no words and they did so well they won their second Grammy for their arrangement. You’ll love it.
Check his playlists - he did that one back in August. His Pentatonix playlist is at 80 - AND he has a separate PTX Xmas playlist that's already at 28. It's pretty clear that these guys are his favorites, even though he cheats on them from time to time. :D (j/k)
Love you Travis, did you ever listen to Lucy Thomas? She also sings with her little sister Martha Thomas. Did You Raise me up and Oh Holy Night and many others, she's from England. She's 17 now and Martha is 12.
And the camera never showed below her waist, because she was probably either seated, or resting her knee on something. (In concert, they used beanbags and her knee-rest scooter).
You silly boy. Allergies? You were crying just like me. So beautiful!

Kirstie's lower register is so beautiful.
Whew! Glad I'm not the only one that doesn't always catch the Kirsty/Mitch switch the first time thru. Merry Christmas, Travis!
That double-take was everything! Kirstie's lower register is like VELVET in this.
Sooo beautiful, so gorgeous , I'm lost for words.

THE FIVE PART HARMONY WAS RIDICULOUS TOWARD THE END.. omg! I JUST CAN'T WOW!!!!

Kirstie has a beautiful lower register when she decides to sing there.
This song is beautiful. The video is stunning. I love hearing Kirstin sing in her lower register. Thanks for the reaction.
Mitch is so perfect! Matt really nailed it in this song!! Love them!
Kirstie coming in with her lower register is unexpected after hearing Mitch. I love her low voice.😍
They all have such beautiful ranges....she sounded great in that lower register
That's christmas to me is my favourite PTX christmas song it's an original and it has them has little kids
Just beautiful 👌😊
Kirstin really hit that liw note pretty well.
Beautiful like always.

Their Wall of Sound moment is just stunning as always.

I'm not crying you are. 😁
One of my favorites from Pentatonix, Matt and Kevin are slaying this cover...

Loved how your jaw practically dropped to the floor during the last harmony section. Yep, harmony slapped.
Such a beautiful version of this song…of course the PTX version is always stunning ❤️🎶
Sometimes that which is beautiful brings tears. And there is nothing of shame in that. ❤

You must hear Voctave’s version of this song. Just heard it in person at a Voctave concert

There you'll be, sung by Lucy Thomas
Fun fact: the reason this video is shot from the waist up is because they were hiding the fact that Kirstie was in a cast due to a broken foot!
Did not realize that. It must have been in 2018 because she was still in a walking boot at the Christmas tour show they did in Dallas/Fort Worth.

This is indeed a beautiful version of this song. 💕 Might I also suggest Voctave's newly released version...😉
Love this one thank you great reaction please can you check out god only knows ptx 😁
I'm pretty sure this was recorded when Kirstie was in a cast. Hence very stationary blocking during the song.
And the camera never showed below her waist, because she was probably either seated, or resting her knee on something. (In concert, they used beanbags and her knee-rest scooter).
Love this but.... Voctave have a version that makes grown men cry, it features one of the members kids. Nice reaction

Travis, can you PLEASE do Miley Cyrus covering Last Christmas, please??
Plz react to Voctave's version of " Where are you Christmas"!! It's even more emotional!!
