This song is really the kind of song that shows you how epic they are! It really high lights ALL of their talents and each voice is truly discernable. They don't need all the electronics and the "recording studio" equipment to make them shine. THAT is a truly amazing group!! Love PTX!! Thank you Nick for doing this one.
They usually include one song where they put drown the mics in every concert. I’ve seen them do this song, and also their original song “Run to You” which was inspired by this one, and also “Can’t Help Falling in Love With You.” I’m seeing them next week, and based on clues I’m getting from others who have already experienced this year’s Christmas tour, (even though I’m kinda trying not to pay attention, so I’ll be surprised, lol) I believe they intend to do their gorgeous mashup of “Pure Imagination/Christmastime is Here” this way, and I think I am looking forward to it more than anything else! Well, I’m also excited to see my friend’s reaction to Kevin and Matt’s “Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairy Reimagined.” It’s his first PTX concert, so really, I expect his reaction to everything will be fun for me to see, now that I think about it.
Same for us in Paris. In French we say "we'd have been able to hear a fly fly" when there're no noises whatsoever, and that's what happened there. It was such a beautiful moment 🥺🥰
My husband and I saw them live for the first time this night at the Hollywood Bowl!!!! So incredibly awesome. Saw them for the fourth time in Colorado in September. Can't get enough of them!❤
The original song was released in 2008 by a pop / country group called The Rescues, who sang a lot in three-part harmony. During Scott's first and only year in college (2010-11), the a capella group he sang with did an arrangement of it and he loved it. When Pentatonix formed, won the SingOff and moved to Los Angeles together, he taught the song to the group. I can imagine them singing bits of it in buses and backstage and warming up in their apartments. Ten years later they finally recorded it for their 2021 Evergreen album.
Nick, always love your reactions! Your reactions are so very heartfelt! They are five of the most talented people. They were also very talented with Avi.
Great reaction Nick .. this is also one of my favorite PTX performances. I especially love how, except at the very beginning, you don't hear a peep out of the audience.
The Hollywood Bowl concert was kind of a 10-year retrospective for them, and was professionally recorded for pay-per-view. Fans captured excerpts from the stream, which don't appear to be blocked often.
As the Holiday season gets closer I would love for you to react to CELINE DION'S 1998 version of O HOLY NIGHT - it's chillingly beautiful and, in my opinion, the best version out there - those high notes she hits are gasp-worthy!! Xoxo from Canada ❤️
Sometimes you don't need all the bells and whistles. Sometimes you just need five amazing performers and one microphone.

The audience respect - and utter silence - for PTX is awesome.
This song is so beautiful. This is why their concerts are always packed - they are just amazing live.

I was lucky enough to see PTX do this in UK. You could hear a pin drop in the Arena. It’s definitely a “deep sigh” song. Just lovely ❤

Please please check out their newest version of silent night, done with the kings singers.
Can you please react to BTS Jin’s debut solo album “Happy”? He has two new music video out for it called “I’ll Be There” and “Running Wild.” 😊
How about some more KD Lang. Bird on a Wire from the Max sessions. ua-cam.com/video/ZvhD1cORBrU/v-deo.htmlsi=aXgC1ST66AvDEh7C
