Their original album 'Pentatonix' topped Billboard Top 200 in 2015 over Taylor Swift, Demi Lovato, Drake and other pop stars' albums. It became multi platinum. And it wasn't a Christmas album. Their second original pop album was released during the pandemic with zero promotion from RCA, and it still was in top 35 pop albums of Top 200. Their originals are bops. I recommend listening to 'Petals', 'Anchor', 'To the River', 'You're Out', 'Coffee In Bed', 'Never Gonna Cry Again'.
Yeah, Mitch doesn't hit those high notes without warming up....never mind, I've seen videos where he's just messing about and he hits those high notes out of the blue. His vocals are strong, he's had lots and lots and lots of practice. Voice of an angel, mischievous spirit.
Anyone that doubts their ability to perform live should go to one of their concerts..talent on full display ! Thank you for recognizing and appreciating their abilities. I would suggest you also do a reaction of their new Hallelujah live. Hope you feel better soon☺️
Great reaction to this awesome live Pentatonix performance. Thank you. I love this live performance. I always notice Kirstie throughout Pentatonix songs. She was extra amazing in this, as always. They are all amazing.
Just saw them live again for a fourth time, second row and when Mitch is my favorite, I could not keep my eyes off if Kevin!!! He works harder then anyone in Pentatonix. His concentration and precision was incredible!!!!!
Tx for mentioning that they are so great and this proofs it. Their live stuff is astonishing. For example, for the non-fans listen to their sing-off performances 2011. And theie is even a live private performance of them singing the daft punk medley in a room without microphones in front of them. They don't just have 20,3 million subscribers on their talen for their clever name. Appreciate you. Greetings from South Africa
Kevin has a regular physical training routine to build himself up to support that powerful beatboxing. Mitch loves being the guitar, and that comes through clearly! Have you listened to Scott's Grammy-nominated piece, Rose Without The Thorns? He's nominated (along with his colleagues) for the arrangement, but his performance is outstanding in the video.
Thanks for the great reaction. Their Christmas tour has started. Check out Their new Christmas song, set Me Next Christmas written by Scott for the Netflix movie of the same name. PTX is also in the movie playing themselves
This arrangement is noticeably different from their original cover. it feels more like - let's imagine this song from a new perspective - and see where it goes. It is still vocally as stunning as their first arrangement. I love that we hear each person breathe through this performance. It brings the song to life for us.
It's notable that Queen never performed the 'Bismillah' section of the song live . They would show that section of the video while they left the stage for a costume change .
Please watch Forestella’s version of Bohemian Rhapsody performed live for a competition on Immortal songs in 2019 with the theme “ Queen”. They are a Korean crossover quartet. So they sing many different genres. They are not acapella, so instruments are used.
@@chrispavlich9656 duh....of course I do. What is the problem? I am allowed to like what I like, right? I don't tell you what to think, because we have freedom.
I respect your opinion, I believe that most Pentaholics would disagree and there is probably a good portion who think that the band sounds better with Matt. I personally believe that each bass has his own strengths and weaknesses. It all comes down to personal preference. I tend to listen to their newer work more often.
@@dwfarr as is your right, I like Matt okay but he does not have the same depth of talent as Avi. I noticed they have not won any grammy's since he left.

This is very much true! It's hard to hit any high notes like that without warming up in general

I appreciate the suggestion! This video was recorded a few weeks back, so I'm not sick anymore. But I really appreciate the support!
@ glad you’re feeling better ☺️

This version is even better than their original...and that was perfection!

Nice!! They're live stuff is pretty incredible based on the videos I've seen.

Hey! I'm glad you enjoyed the video and resonated with some of my commentary 😊
This is simply amazing.

The best Acapella group ever

I can understand your perspective on this cover of theirs. Maybe change is what they were aiming for?
I don’t really hear the difference other than a bit of tempo rubato from the leads. Can you give an example?
Nice!❤❤❤
Glad you enjoyed it Becki 😊
Awesome!

Oh nice! Very interesting.
Live performances are usually better imho! Have you heard? Kirstie just announced baby #2 is on the way!
Oh dang! Good for her!

Recommend their video of My Favorite Things.
I might have seen that one already 🤔 I appreciate the suggestion!
I prefer the first one they did....love PTX but it lost just a bit of polish when Avi left.
I can understand your perspective on that.
Avi, Avi, Avi. You know he has his own channel?
