This video couldn't get any more 1983 unless they showed the A-Team cheering from the crowd at the end with a brief freeze frame, credits, and Stephen J Cannell production logo.

Thanks so much for posting this. This is one of my favorite journey songs. Steve perry is my favorite singer. Nobody does it better than the voice.

I love how Steve Smith switches the way he holds his left drumstick. He's the most trained musician of the five. Cain and Valory are well schooled too. Schon and Perry are just freaks.

I tried this at open Michrophone night . And nailed it. The band done a Fantastic Job at playing . And sang the he'll out of it
Steve Perry is still my favorite singer of all time. And can sound like him. I wonder if Steve Perry come back to do one more album after there induction ceremony. Even singing lower. Steve can still probably bring in more Grammy awards for Journey with a new album. There cover singer just dose not have the magic Steve has

      Russell Ebnet AWESOME 🤘🤘🏿🤘
I used to sing in a band and we did
      Wheel in the sky
      Light's stay a while
And any way you want it
I've always wanted to sing -
      Mother Father
      Still thay ride and
      Don't stop believing 🤘
But my band never learned them 🤘
      kEEP ON ROCKIN 🤘

Robbi Johnson the cover singer with the band has been singing at least half a key lower for about 8 years. Steve Perry recently said that he can sing all the Journey songs half key to a key lower at age 70.

Steve was the voice, not Neil! Neil seems like a cranky millionaire ❤

Good band could use a better singer but overall good song and performance.
Naw. Journey should be proud that was amazing. World class arena rock show.

Hard to believe that after watching this the band ended up firing Steve Smith and Ross before they recorded Raised on Radio. Why? This band was a well oiled machine on the Frontiers tour. Bad decision!

    • @haleyes98
      @haleyes98 Рік тому +1

yup, that played a big part in the whole group falling apart during the Steve Perry-era, of course. not sure what happened, but it’s said that Steve had a *major* role in their firing. I think Steve is probably the best male vocalist in modern times, but he really did a number on the group. A lot more happened behind the scenes that’s coming out as time passes

This was a tight unit. Not a bad song on this album. Shortly after this they went completely off the rails with the drama. Great song.
