One of the best songs off from the Frontiers album!
This is a great song and it was with it that I learned what it means to cross the Rubicon . Very awesome 👍😎 !!
He has a voice from heaven. Good grief. He could hold notes. Breathing perfect. Such a blessing to see him live. THE VOICE WAS; WELL THE VOICE!
If Jesus, The Christ, wanted to sing, he would use Steve Perry's voice to do it, because he invented it. He created it to be indelible, and imbued it with a perfect phenomenologically charismatically incontrovertible sound.
@@thepope1494 Steve Perry shows divine intervention in that it had to have been part of his ability . No only human could pull that off !!
Every song Steve Perry sings is so amazing, including his solo music to this day. He’s a musical genius and vocal god.
Yes. He is Iconic.
In this promised land Fire burnin' in our hands The choice is ours to make Realize your fantasy You live the dream With every step you take Stand tall stand on the edge Use the thin end of the wedge The will to cast your fate Don't turn around too late Lose ground if we hesitate Burning youth won't wait Make a move across the rubicon Futures knockin' at your door Take your time And choose the road you want Opportunity is yours See it all so clear Time is right time is near We know now what to do All god's children learn Which way to turn Turning' back we're through We all refuse to lose Live life and light the fuse Burning youth won't wait
Every time I see this video I can't think what a wonderful performance this was even though Steve looked completely exhausted. Must have been a time when they were performing two to three nights in a row. That's dedication.
One of my all time fave Journey songs! Steve's voice is just beautiful here.
ikr!!!!
Never thought this song got enough recognition. A really good song which covers the spectrum of all of Journey's talents.
Dan Robbins Yes, I would agree with you! Great song❤

ikr!!!!
Agreed. These days those tracks that were not played so much are among my very favorites. The deep tracks (at least I consider them as such) on Infinity and Evolution in particular are fantastic to my ears (Infinity: Opened the Door, Winds of March, Somethin' to Hide; Evolution: Too Late, Do You Recall, Lady Luck). Also, man...what a great 'extra' studio track included for a live album (Captured): The Party's Over.
Amazing how Steve could hold notes walk around never get out of breath never miss a note just perfect everytime essentially live concert 🎤🎶🎵♥️🎸🎶🎵
Whoever gave us a thumbs down… How’s your voice?
He looks like he’s so tired here, yet it’s impressive he could pull off a hell of a show.
He had the flu and it's amazing how well he performed when he was sick and struggling to get through it.
Can never watch and hear this one enough! Always a favorite from the Frontiers album, and absolutely love this (and any) live performances by the master..the GOAT..Steve Perry! ♥♥
I saw them three times...definitely NOT enough! Now. it's too late!
His voice is the best flawless 👍
love watching these concerts
They must've loved Japan! They went there a lot back in the early days! At least, it seems like they did!
So good!!! ❤

kirkdog there’s a fixed version of this tour here: ua-cam.com/video/pVQlh0GmnXA/v-deo.html Schons guitar is definitely audible this video.
Do we live in a 'free' society? Do we have choices?
This song was Awesome !!! Should've been all over the radio !!! Ross Valory and Steve Smith will always be apart of Journey !!! Love Arnel and Dean as well !!!

They say he had respiratory problem here 💙
He had the flu.
he was so sick there
@@bowie4ever824 what the fuck is that
@@bartolomevillanustre1904 he had influenza, look it up. Seriously.
His energy is so off here. He’s pushing through since he knows he has a job to do.
Yeah, but so does Paul Rodgers.
Steve sounded like he had a bad cold during this concert . His voice is so raspy . That or a really long tour.
His voice is not raspy at all. Douchey comment. He had the flu.
I didn’t think he was sick I just thought he was exhausted because he typically has a lot more energy when he performs
He was sick according to people who were there and he did a whopping 110 shows in 6 months. Journey started the Frontiers tour in Japan.
