Samsung's liers sponsoring say the best tv of the year BIG LIE, still LG OLED is the best, look at this burning screan Samsung's qd-ooed ua-cam.com/video/N6vPHC7L150/v-deo.html
The best thing about QD-OLED is that it could make OLED less expensive.
In the UK the S95B 55 is significantly less expensive than even the LG B2
exactly. Looking forward to getting a C2 at 83 inch on black friday. that 65 inch QD oled is TINY lmao.
@@henrywinters9496 No it's not lmao... 55 S95B is more expensive than 55 inch C2/G2
@@sammy10001 C2 is mediocre when it comes to brightness tho, it's worse than C1 according to reviews, get a 77/83 inch G2 instead, B and C series has been LGs mid-end line for a few years now, A series is entry level but G series is the high-end consumer line which gets all the cool stuff first... G1 vs C1 = G1 got evo panel ... G2 vs C2 = G2 got heatsink, if you can't afford G2 in 77/83 then you can't afford to go big anyway. Big and cheap is not the way to go unless you don't care about image quality. QD-OLED has WAY BETTER COLOR BRIGHTNESS than WOLED. 3-4 times higher. Most of WOLEDs brightness comes from the WHITE LEDs which means colors gets washed out when brightness is high, not on QD-OLED. Watch the video he explains it... Get a G2 or A90J if you go WOLED all the rest is pretty much mid-end at this point... Don't buy A, B or C series unless HEAVILY discounted. QD-OLED gets 77 inch size next year and LGs solution to QD-OLED is to shoot even MORE white lights into their RGB array = more washes out colors in bright scenes.. LG has pretty much maxed out WOLED with G2 model, it's 10 years old tech at this point, after all. QD-OLED is 1st gen and stomps on WOLED already.
@@Dr.WhetFarts I think you let the marketing terms really get the best of you.
G2 at 83 is not an evo ex panel. There is no point in paying the premium for the 83 version of the G2.
Id rather get the C2, or the a90j at 83, true.
77 G2 is a different story, that is the EVO EX, and is very good. but 83 > 77.
My tv becomes radio, nobody in my family is actually watching it. They just look at their mobile.
I watch everything on my tablet, it's true 😅
@@FROSTB4NE me too

Yeah. I would just use it for gaming
I just bought my S95B QD OLED Friday. I'm so thrilled with the TV

@@xxprouaexx non whatsoever not even worried about it. Still on factory firmware 1098
I love it you see a review of the Samsumg S95D QD OLED. Interested in the anti-glare screen in the same room had the LG OLED.
Jon's favorite word, incredible!!
What demo video did you use in this video to show off the TV? 8:45
Just picked up the 65" Samsung s95b QD-OLED for $1400 and I'm pumped!
Great video Jon. Are the QD-OLED tv’s more proven now seeing as this video was uploaded last year? Or would you still recommend having extended warranty for more reassurance?
In Japan right now the A95K is currently cheaper than a G2 or G3. My family games and watches a lot of TV in the living room (which is bright) what would you suggest?
What about the a90j 65 for $2499? Seems like a good comparison still, right?
I would like to get advice an from you, I live in China I have here:
New (May 2022) TCL 98” T7E ( LED, 144hz, 800 nits, 8000000:1 contrast, 192 dinamic zones, 1,2 ms*)
VS
(2021) Hisense E7G PRO ( ULED, 122hz, 1.000 nits, 1000000:1 contrast, 256 dinamic zones)
Please help me to decide, prices is similar, I use to watch movies / tv series
I was buying the TCL 85” C12E QD - Mini LED (QD Mini LED, 122hz, 1.400 nits, 448 dinamic zones)
all this 3 Tvs here in Shanghai are similar prices, I was thinking to go Larger.
What to choose? 🥺
Not sure if these comments are still being monitored. Should I be considering Dolby Vision and HDR10+ in my decision making?
Still trying to decide. Fell 90% about the Samsung S95B. Miniscule I know but turned off on the LG G2 because they don't include a tabletop stand. Crazy. Non-gamer. Streaming and Sports.
Everyone is jumping up and down about the new technology of QD OLED but I'm still satisfied with my WRGB OLED. I have tweeked my TV up with picture settings and I have a picture I love. Maybe QD OLED may be a little better in some cases but I'm not ready just yet to give up on WRGB OLED. This is just my personal opinion. When I'm ready to upgrade then I'll consider going QD OLED.
You see the difference in color vibrance on the QD oled
Well, enjoy what you are happy with. Personally, though, I just find WRGB OLEDs, like my LG CX, to be deficient in color reproduction. I find my Pioneer Kuro 101FD plasma has noticeably better color reproduction (and motion). So, I'm hoping that QD-OLED has colors more similar to plasma TVs. They certainly seem to.
what about burn in in oled?
@@JosephKarthic hey Joesph I don't worry about burn in too much because I vary me content. And I don't go to sleep with the TV on all night. So far after 18 months I have no burn in or image retention.
@@michaelwyckoff7593 I see, I wanted to use my TV as a monitor as well, So I should look for other TV tech right?
Great video Jon. I am really impressed with the new mini LED QNED sets because of their bright screens. What is your opinion on the QNED Mini LED sets?
QNED is a failure, it's on IPS panel which pales in native contrast when compared to traditional Mini LED TVs made by Samsung on VA Panels. The mini LEDs on IPS is not enough to overcome the native contrast enabled by VA panels. It comes down to IPS vs VA contrast differences, just like VA which is still backlit still cannot match self emissive tech like OLED in contrast.
It's failed tech don't get the brightness on store the loss of contrast is something that you're not going to pass eventually you will notice and be bothered
Does LG C2 a superior and better tv than the G2 ?
Nice video Jon!
Make a video on the best gaming monitors for next gen console please 🙌🏻
Hes not good for gaming Monitors at all. Optimum Tech would be that, or Hardware Unboxed/Monitors Unboxed. Or a few other tech sites if you like Text based stuff.
Great video bri.
I’m picking up the 48in OLED Bravia
Sometimes it is that small difference, that just a little more, makes all the difference. Sony is killing it. Shame about the sizes right now.
I’ve had the A95K for a week. 65 inches was as big as I could fit in my apartment and wall mounting not possible. Really pleased with the tv so far and don’t watch it in a bright environment. With the sound being so good I don’t feel the need for a sound system for my space. One way to save some money I guess. I seriously considered the G2 but for my needs it was my second choice. Price wasn’t a concern. As you say both are stunning TVs I hope you’re enjoying some quality screen time and thanks for your videos.
glad I waited for QD-OLED before finally upgrading my Pioneer Kuro TV, my 65" A95K is def better, it's just as bright, and the colors are better, 4K is incredible, my only complaint is that Dolby Vision is available with only 2 HDMI ports, and the Ethernet port is only 100 Mbps and not 1 Gbps
My understanding is that QD-OLED is a superior technology, and meanwhile, consumers are being forced to wait for better selection to open-up in American markets.
Hello great channel. I would like to say that personally I will never buy a Samsung TV because my QE65Q77TAT has just crashed after 26 months and I have to watch 32LG6000 TV now until I have a new TV set, of course not a Samsung one.
Why do you call it a “set”?
I love to get a qd oled in a few years when they get even brighter and larger sizes. Clearly the best tech until we get true emissive quantum dots !
This video is really well produced, I give you that. But, did we really learn anything new by watching this video?
Samsung S95B is the best deal for me. I bought an LG OLED 65 in 2017 and I am considering to upgrade to a QD-OLED of the same size. The other upgrade reason is 4K 120HZ. As I'm also going to buy a RTX4090, I want to make full use of the graphics card.
How's the TV so far ?
Did you buy it?
3:48 looks like 3d due to how crisp and contrasting the picture is.
I want 8k. After seeing a movie on an 8k tv. The details are just juicy.
I think if you had compared the Samsung S95B in lieu of the Sony, you would have noticed that the whites are much brighter on the Samsung than those on the A95K. For some reason, Sony has elected to use a much more aggressive ABL algorithm, perhaps as their way of ensuring a longer lasting panel.
Hdtv showed why. He played a scene on loop and after a minute the Samsung started dimming and kept dimming until it was barely visible. The Sony on the other hand kept going without any dimming (or minimal, can’t remember exactly)
@@medz3398 That's odd, because I saw a video on another channel that demonstrated just the opposite. The white highlights on the Samsung stayed bright for like 4 minutes or so and the Sony dimmed down almost immediately. Go figure...
@@drugemp1 Samsung nerfed the brightness with the patch, they just used the previous brightness level to bait buyers.
@@ShadowLady1 it's the brightest oled period
@@medz3398 Paused images or a constant loop of the same thing to protect the panel and can be turned off.
Qdoled will solve the problem for oled and qled owners. U can get rich contrast and peak brightness in qd oled.
Both are SO good! Hard to choose 🤔

Just purchased samsung qn85b neo QLED! Was it a good decision? I was worried about oled burn in, that's why cancelled LG C2 OLED
It is definitely good for you. It wouldn't be good for people who prefer oled tv's
boring, hard to keep track of which oled you talking about, you blur it all together!
Alienware has a QD OLED that is the best gaming monitor. What do you think of that?
The ppi is not good enough for me . It's like 1440p . I am used to a very crisp imagine
@@x32i77 there's a reason it's low, so you can drive the panel with a high refresh rate.
If you're going to create a 4K ultrawide with 240hz with example, good luck trying to drive that in 2022 because I'm sure that's gonna be a £7,000 PC.
@@thegixlad27I have no problem with that 🙂
The A95K QD-OLED has a 77’ option…
Funny. Watching you, the viewer gets the feeling it’s just you and the camera.
Long term value since day one OLED!

What's the tune playing at 7:03?
@@Frank_Pods by Otis Mcdonald? Nah, that ain't it.
@@Frank_Pods nope.
Now we find out that QD OLED is more prone to burn in probably because of the blue instead of white pixels with RGB filters....OOPS !!!!
Exactly! Plus the white reproduction of qd oleds is inferior and with Samsung’s antiglare tech the blacks are nerfed so they don’t quite appear as inky black as LG oleds
Qd oled vs micro led :)
Which ever you can afford
I would go with LG Z1 since it supports bfi and it's 8k OLED
But… $$$
There’s nothing out that’s filmed in 8k yet though, your in stream or watching anything in 8 k is slim to none at least for now until they start making more 8k content, unless your gaming in 8k it’s not worth it
Right now the 65" S95B can be had for $2,200. That is a bargain. I'd pick that over the G2 as it's quite a bit cheaper.
I just got the s95b for 1700 through my employer, deal seems impossible to beat
@@ChrisKingFTW2000 $1,700 for the S95B is hands down the best deal on any OLED right now.

And its ips pannel right?
It is sad they no longer care about 3d contents.
I have a samsung plasma lol but its time to upgrade. tech has gotten lot better
wants the life span on OLED TVs
Wow, could you tell us again why you made the choice you made? Was it because of the size? You only mentioned that 6 times in this video. Waste of time.
I swear, you’ve made this comparison video multiple times already
Nope. Never this one.
Cutie-OLED
Interesting
I wanna buy OLED TV but I don't watch TV in general.
QD-OLED TVs have a higher burn in risk. Nuff said.
Sony uses Samsung QD-OLED panels, so it's safe to assume the color accuracy is the same
77 samsung qd oled coming 2023 confirmed
I still not sure how Oled and qd oled increase the brightness without burning issue. How come you never have side by side tv comparison to see which tv better than other?
brighter oleds use a heatsink which allows the brightness to be turned higher.
qd-oled works differently alltogether, allowing for a higher color brightness.
@@notsorandumusername
How many Oled tv builded heatsink to prevent the burning? What happen to the Oled TVs without the heatsink? Burning right? lol same thing thing will happen with QD Oled tv!
@@romeotrinh6415 if you know everything already, why do you ask?
77" inch QD OLED will arrive in 2023.
Beware, Samsung promotional video without actual comparison
QD OLED is much better it replaced OLED and LCD soon.
Good video. Samsung has been behind and has always depended on marketing to promote either inferior technology as better or mislead customers. I know that with my many LG OLED panels and for years, every time I look at the screen, I am amazed by what I see.
Another important element is if you pay $1700 for a Samsung device, 700 is the cost of marketing to brainwash customers, and 1000 is for the product. With LG, most money is spent on the product, and it is interesting to see LG OLED products are superior and cheaper.
Samsung is not bad, but why pay more and get less? Technically, Samsung QD is like steroids: reflections, dimmers, but more colors.
Sony is more money than LG because the panels now are from Samsung and used to be from LG. Sony does not make panels anymore.
What is traditional vs WOLED ? 😂
WOLED and "traditional" OLED are the same thing. We just started calling it WOLED since there is now also QD-OLED.
I get a little chuckle every time a presenter pretends to know a technology but clearly doesnt
am glad someone is smoking OLEDS now . OLED has had the throne for 3 years now
Smoking Oleds? No is smoking oled TVs, hopefully. I though this was a video about only oleds, yes there are different oled screens but are still talkign about organic light emitting diods right, no matter what matrix they are arranged in?
No one reinvented the world here, and to be more frank there are many reasons to why the Sony is the hottest TV out there now and a reason their A95 is so darn pricey.
To absolute large majority of people just switching to a oled TV will make the largest jump ever, always strong and weak sides and which one can accept or not, but yeah the oled panel will pop at you like nothing else out there.
If money is an object and just want oled, scrap the C2 and grab a C1, most people will not even notice differences by themselves unless pointed out by someone better equipped. That's the reason so few accept real blind comparing, then they have got explanations to do afterwards. But yes listening to the experts doing side by sides we are all experts too with strong opinions.
The clear choice for me was QD OLED as I have both the Samsung S95B and the A95K both with amazing pictures
Which do you like more?
Samsung s95b QD-OLED is more affordable, even higher brightness than the Sony, & it has a anti reflection coating/filter
But the quality of Samsungs suck right now. Especially with all the bent screens.
@@jtopdawg6 my s95b works perfectly so far, not sure what you believe sucks quality wise from them - if you’re that worried about a bent screen then go buy one from Best Buy and check if it’s bent before leaving + I have Best Buy Total Tech coverage
Sony doesn’t even make the panels - they get them from Samsung
@@antonykeane5586 good for you!
@@Zorathan Samsung get them from Samsung display same as LG get their panels from LG display different companies so don’t really see your point.
I keep my TVs for 3-7 years. Oled is a defective technology in the eyes of someone that uses his device for that long period. Brightness kills the panels a lot faster, image retention, burn in appears within months depends on the usage. For me QLED is the way to go. Max brightness, popping colors, it's okay if i don't have pitch blacks, at least my colors won't degrade overtime or have ghosting/burn in issues down the road.
You do know that QD-OLED can absolutely suffer burn-in, right ?

Most people won't go bigger than 65" so this reason for preferring OLED over Q-OLED is not relevant, it's a widely accepted fact that the Samsung S95B is the best out there at the moment, the SONY is dim and has difficulty dealing with motion
So why is he comparing the Sony to Q-OLed to Woled LG (G2)
Lol! This video doesn't even make sense, the only reason you're giving it to the Sony is because of the size? Samsung S95B is cheaper and gets to 1500nits beating both of these pieces of crap😅
