- I explain my Lowrance HDS Live 12 settings for Side Imaging, Down Imaging and 2D Sonar. These are the settings that I use year around with a few minor tweaks. I explain how to adjust your graph to give you the best image possible. If you have questions leave a comment below!

In general, the TI units are faster in response to inputs. This is seen when quickly switching between sonar, downscan, chart, and split screens ua-cam.com/users/postUgkxeAxH15LxhjGlg5-CRYqjTGTEH0tbY4vk recommend The Hook units will show some lag on button pushes and screen switching. The big ticket item though is maps. If you install a mapping card such as Navionics or the free C-Map Genesis which has a lot of map detail, then moving around the map with the cursor or when running down the lake can lag significantly on the Hook units, but is seamless with the TI units.

*I used it, I was amazed, **enjoyable.fishing** recommend The color screen really lights up. For such a small unit it is very easy to read.*
My first time here. Thanks for taking the time to do this video. I sent my ranger to the shop and I suppose after they hooked the diagnostic computer to the hds 12 live it dumped my settings. I've had a horrible time getting the Mghz and contrast settings correct!! My down and side imaging has been completely dark. Gonna give these settings a try and see if I can bring it back. Thanks bro.
Great Video ! I've been wanting to try and adjust my two HDS Live 12's and now I'm going to give these settings a try. I just bought them last year and the Active Target and trying to learn how to use them. I am using them straight out of the box settings and have a pretty decent picture but I know it can be better so I took good notes during this video and will put them to use. Thanks again.
Thanks Hunter. Nice video, I am always trying to learn new ideas for off shore graphing.
It’s nothing fancy in the setup but that was one of the points I wanted to make in the video so more people have confidence in what their graph is showing them 👍🏼👍🏼👊🏼 Thanks!
Good video ! Thank you very much!
Great video mate. These things are very good on AUTO settings with slight adjustments to cover the day/water quality. Dunno how so many blokes muck this up - install, or voltage seem to be the culprit most of the time.
Absolutely! And yes to the culprits too. Using sonar pros allows me to get good voltage to all 4 of my units and helps tremendously!
Thanks, my HDS 12 is coming soon, very exciting, Sam South Africa
Great video! Thank you! Hopefully I can get my in hull to read better depth at pad but this video helps so much! Best of luck out there.
This really helped me. It would help if you talked about the buttons to push to get to the selections for each panel on the screen. You dont assume everyone knows how. Example: when you adjust the settings for one of the three panels. A person touches the screen then presses the menu button.
This isn’t a beginners intro into your lowrance units. I do assume the viewer that’s wanting to watch this to already have a basic understanding of how to adjust their settings. There are a lot of videos out there to walk you through a new startup for your units but this isn’t intended for that.
Good stuff thanks
I'll have to try the blue palette.
To each their own but trying a new one never hurts! 👍🏼👊🏼
Thanks for your help
Thank you sir! Perfect!!
Thank you!!
Thanks for information! U da man!
This is awesome thank you man!
Good job Thanks

What is this video ⭐️🔥
what transducers are you running??
Another great video. I practiced and got the crazy Alberto knot down thanks to you and your video. Are you using the structure scan 3 d at all with your lowrances?
I wanted to throw my unit in the river so dam complicated
