Can you ceramic coat old oxidized paint? Mercedes w126 420sel original paint test using avalon king

So took the old w126 420sel out today and decided to test out ceramic on the paint. She has some pretty oxidized original paint. Will it work?

Good must have been repainted with clear while the body is one stage color and clear. Gotta be careful with that!

So honestly didn't do much at all to this paint since it was original and didn't want to cut through it. All I did was a deep clean using dawn dish soap and then used a clay bar. Clay bar removes all the contaminants. After that I just added the ceramic coating from avalon king. This is what brings out shine and is very easy to apply. I have a full video of restoring my Porsche paint and using the ceramic coat as well

Thank you for doing this video. I have an old Malibu that's not worth the paint correction but I wanted to see if a ceramic coating would bring back a little luster while protecting it from road salt. Looks like it's worth it!

You can easily do some paint correction yourself, many videos out there.

So this car sold shortly after but my Porsche 944 is still looking very nice after about a year and a half. I would say you get 2-3 years out of it
